Any longer between shots and my retna bleeds. I did everything right, including transferring my insurance to MT starting Nov 1st. I am also approved for the Eylea program that pays for the injections if my insurance doesn't. I received a call the day before my injection telling me that unless I came up with a large payment up front to cover the office visit fee, I could not be seen. My husband and I live on a fixed income. At the final hour I was left without the care I need to prevent blindness or vision loss. I have not had a shot in my left eye since Sept 27th and now will probably have to wait over a month for an appt with another optomologist. Now I have to start the entire process over. I have to contact my old Dr for another referral and have to wait for another appt slot. I am a realist. You could have just told me to begin with.
