Matt is an amazing trainer! I would definitely recommend him as a trainer. My boyfriend and I have…read morea Siberian Husky who had major behavioral problems. He would not listen at all. He was constantly eating the furniture, jumping on everyone and everything, he didn't listen when it was time to come inside and I would eventually have to carry him in the house, and he would cry and scream when it was time to put him in the crate if we were leaving or going to bed. We didn't know what to do but after looking for trainers, we came across Matt's website. After meeting with him and having him go over a few training techniques with our puppy, we knew he would be a big help. When we got the puppy back, we could see a huge change in his behavior. When Matt started his training, our puppy was 6 months old. He is now 13 months and is still just as great as when we got him back. He listens on the first command, there's no longer a struggle to come inside or go in his crate, and now he understand were the boss.

She needed someone who would be patient with her and who wouldn't give up on her, and Don was just that guy.  Over seven training sessions, Don worked with us to introduce Lulu to new people and new environments, making up for some of the socialization that she had missed out on as a puppy. He helped us with obedience work, and taught us tricks for keeping her in control when on walks. Don was so dedicated to her, and it was clear that he genuinely cared for her and wanted to help her be the best dog she could be. We liked Don so much that we also hired him for walks and boarding! Lulu always came back happy, and it was clear she enjoyed staying with Don and his wife Maria.  Thanks so much for everything, Don!!

When I asked if I could see the puppies I was told no and given an excuse why. The first dog (male) is cowhocked and would have been a better guard dog than a family one. She questioned why he was not active upon meeting him we were told he was just running around. The third dog (male) was very skittish upon meeting him. We were told he would grow out of it. He has not. He is afraid of everything! Mr. Henkel could also not tell me when he was born. He rambled off a couple different dates. The second dog (female) we purchased just passed away October 2, 2022. She turned 6 on September 15, 2022. When she was 4 she was diagnosed with genetic epilepsy. At approximately 5 yrs 8 months it was discovered her liver values were high and she lost 10 pounds at her yearly exam. We then went to an Internal doctor and we started some meds. In August 2022 we had a liver biopsy and intestinal biopsy done since nothing else was helping her. The results came back that she had IBD, PLE, Copper Storage Disease and a aggressive rare form of hepatitis. My girl only survived a month. I posted to Wilhendorf on FB the below screenshot and it was taken down and I was blocked. It's quite obvious that he does not care about the dogs he breeds or the families who are grieving for the loss of their family member who passed way to young. They only care about the money these dogs bring in just like a puppy mill. If he was an honest man he would have acknowledged my pain and thanked me for letting him know about the genetic problems. Please go elsewhere for your dog and make sure you research. There were red flags everywhere and that's on me for not researching. By the way Mr Henkel if you plan to respond with anything negative about my care for her let's get the facts straight! She had an Amazing and Knowledgeable Veterinarian. She had a Highly Knowledgeable and Respected Neurologist and Internal Doctor. We spent well over $30,000 making sure we did everything for her. For any of you who think we let her suffer all this time. She was not suffering or in pain until the day we had to say goodbye.

It was fine at…read morefirst, but as it's grown, it's degenerated so much that we no longer feel comfortable leaving our pup there. The space smells horrible -- like urine and bleach -- and dogs in the facility always sound horribly sad. (We've been to numerous doggie daycares in a great many years of being owned by three successive dogs. They don't always sound or smell this unpleasant.) You receive no information about your dog's day unless you sign up for that "perk" for an additional surcharge. (This really rubs us the wrong way!!) They pep your dog up at pickup by giving them a biscuit right before they open that last door, but I have my doubts about whether or not our little girl has actually had an enjoyable day. She always needs to relieve herself as soon as we pick her up, which means that the daycare is not giving her enough opportunities to go during her time there. She is exhausted, not as a result of good physical activity, but because she hasn't been able to sleep or rest during the day. Prices keep increasing and are now higher than many doggie daycares in NYC (where rent is, I'm quite sure, much more expensive). We've met some pleasant employees (including our favorite, a woman who claims she doesn't like people, but is actually quite kind). But I have to concur with Elana that some are just unhappy, rude, and strangely power trippy. Luckily, we've found great sitters and walkers through Rover and some wonderful neighbors. Fingers crossed that we never have to use Unleashed again.

At first Unleashed was ok only because it was close to my home so it was very easy for me to drop her off when I needed to. The part owner Jasmine is extremely rude and has absolutely no personalty, she will only treat you nice on the first day then after that, don't ever expect a hi or any mannerism, I also had a bad experience with one of the staff members I believe her name was Natasha extremely rude and disrespectful, I would come in and always say hey good morning or good afternoon and her response was always half day or full day never no hi or good morning or good afternoon very odd customer service especially when leaving your dog whom is like family, I found myself feeling unsafe leaving my dog there and constantly looking at the cameras, I felt if they can be so rude to me how are they going to treat my dog. I ended up having a dispute with Natasha at one point because I was extremely frustrated with the lack of hospitality. I then called Jasmine the part owner and got the most oddest response from her. She literally told me that she can train her staff till she's blue in the face and it doesn't matter because there gonna do what they want and then followed up with saying she can walk a horse to a river but can't make it drink it. I said WoW I'm done! if you can't control your staff then what kind of business are you running. I feel really bad because the male part owner David actually called me to apologize and offered to help out and also talk to his staff on manners but unfortunately it was too late for me, I will never bring my dog there. The place always smells like dog urine, looks dirty and the staff is constantly on there phones no interactions with the dogs and would stop the dogs from playing by spraying them with water bottles, which is odd, since most people are paying for there dogs to interact with other dogs, I know thats why I take my dog there. All this was witness by me from the cameras. I ended up doing my research and found WAGS in Danbury, OMG upon arriving, the place was so CLEAN AND FRESH and I was greeted with manners and such amazing hospitality. They have over 15 rooms for the dogs to play in both inside and out. There price was cheaper then unleashed and they even offer snacks for FREE! the place and people were amazing. If I can give them 10 Stars I would! nothing compare to Unleashed, which between the untrained staff and cleanliness, they get 0 Stars. My dog doesn't know if a place or staff is good, all she knows is having fun with other dogs, so in that aspect she would love to go to unleashed. PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH! THERE ARE WAAAAAY BETTER ESTABLISHMENTS TO TAKE YOUR DOG then Unleashed! Not worth it and my dog would come home smelling really bad every single time!

Because of my work schedule, I recognized that I wouldn't have the time I needed to do the extensive socialization that I wanted to do with my puppy. I started the search for a day board situation where the trainer would work with the puppy during the day, and I could augment that training at night and on my days off. After a thorough search, I decided to go with Anneliese and I've been working with her ever since. I've taken classes with her (group and private) and worked with her through day and extended board and training. As someone who trials my dog, I'm extremely picky about dog trainers. Since the industry isn't regulated, there are a lot of people out there claiming to be professional trainers with few qualifications. Anneliese is the real deal. One of the things I love about Anneliese is that she really wants to see you and your dog succeed whether its as a house pet with good manners, or in competition combined with qualifications and experience to make it happen. She's with you all the way giving both you and your dog the tools and confidence you need to be successful. I would highly encourage everyone to work with her.
