Besides the fact that a powder dip nail polish took over 90 minutes and lasted less than one week the first time, I decided to give them another chance only to have the same result. I called no more than 48 hours after my second visit to explain my nails were chipping and breaking and the color was coming off in chunks to see what could be done. I've been coming here since it opened as it is close to my house. It is definitely not as clean as it used to be-filthy floor, windows and the foot baths. Also, they have three little boys running around and the two year old literally attacks customers who are using their phones. He grabbed my phone and hung onto me twice! I asked the older boy to tell his little brother to get off me. He told me to put my phone away and he'd leave me alone. The parents do not say a word to him either! I like to be relaxed while getting a pedicure but I couldn't relax at all. I would have left if I didn't have a gift certificate to use. I think I've finally found a salon that listens to what I wanted!!! I had to have nails soaked off that I only had on for one week from a different nail salon. They were on so thick it took almost an hour and a half to remove them along with other issues. My nails now are absolutely beautiful! The atmosphere is nice and it's clean, the male nail techs engage in a conversation with you while doing your nails and they are quite funny. The very first time I came here I had a wonderful experience, everyone was so nice and they did a great job. But ever since then, it has always been a problem! The man is EXTREMELY rude! The last two times I walked in, he barely spoke and when he asked what I wanted he dryly responded, "it's going to be a while." I previously left a review that this was a great nail place....boy have things changed...... I came here today at 11:05 for a pedi (they open at 11) to see a line of ladies waiting....nobody showed up until 11:30. Made jokes about it, even. Within the next 10 minutes, the rest of the family showed up. Now I was here Wednesday for a fill in and no chip, which looks like crap. Why didn't I have it fixed then? My kids were with me.... Anyway, I told the guy who did it and he immediately started arguing with me...telling me i dont know nails.....I told him I've been having my nails done for 20 years...and he has done them for 2....accept you did them crappie and fix them... nope, wouldn't do it. Then when I asked for the same color as my hands he says $25 extra for no chip. I asked since when??? I've had 3 pedi with no chip since may...no extra charge.... He argued again. Said it always been like that... he's full of crap, I've never paid extra.... My tip: IF you come here, CHECK YOUR RECEIPT!!! Never again will I darken the doorway of this establishment!!!! The greeting I received was dry and unfriendly. The guy said it will be a 30 minute wait for a pedicure. I waited probably 10 minutes before being seated in a pedicure chair. My feet soaked in that water almost 40 minutes before I was serviced. I had to take my feet out at one point because they were looking like prunes! That was not the irritating part of my visit. There were several children in the shop playing. Two were in walkers and the others were no older than 6. I like kids, but not at the nail shop where I'm trying to enjoy some peace. Some of the kids were the owners kids and two were clients children. At one point the children gathered at my pedicure station playing and no one was tending to them. The scene was chaotic and uncomfortable (I took video to prove it). So the lady started on my feet and she was very nice, she had to push one of the babies out of the way just to sit down and start my pedi. During the course of my $25 pedicure, she asked me if I wanted hot towels for an additional $5. Uh, no!!!! Where I'm from, the pedicures are $20 and the hot towel treatment is included. Needless to say, when I left I was highly irritated and vowed to never go there again! My advice to this establishment, make this an environment comfortable for your patrons. First time here. Not a large selection of polish, also not a very friendly environment. Pedicure was the worse I ever had I felt like telling her. "PUT SOME EFFORT INTO IT!!!!" could of done a better job myself in the shower. Ken did my nails he did a great job. I am not even going to sugar coat it... I hate this place. T K T sucks!! I walked in to TKT one day for a Gel Fill in. The Gel nails on my fingers had only been done 7 days prior to walking in to the building. I asked the man for a Gel fill in. I had nothing wrong with my nails. The man told me all the nails had to be removed. The man painfully forced my nails off, put a new set on. for a simple fill in that should have cost $25.00 plus tip cost me over $50.00 that day. I asked the guy for a different color he charged me a polish change fee. the quality of the gel nails was crap. The quality of the gel nail was so bad, they started breaking off a little after a week. My husband dragged me back in to T K T for a set of acrylic nails about a month later. The quality of the nail was just garbage. The acrylic was applied in a thin cheap layer. the acrylic nails started breaking about 2 days after I had them applied. I have been going for over a year and some techs are better than others. I thought I would try T for my no chip and pedicure. Mistake! My nails are breaking on the side because he filed too low and the polish is chipping after 6 days. The pedicure was not good at all...no foot massage and the polish is already chipping. Terrible!! The employees were not friendly. They did not speak to me at all. When they did talk it was to each other in their own language. They got up in the middle of my manicure to help another customer with out asking me, then pushed me off on another employee for them to finish. I had been going here for about 6 months very regularly getting my nails and feet done. I started taking my daughter (who is 4) more recently for her nails and pedicure. Last week I went in for a fill in. The guy "T" did my fill and started telling me I how bad my nails were and that 4 nails needed to be replaced. I told him go ahead as he still looked for more nails that needed to be "fixed". I also had a no chip and transitioned to a basic polish which he told me would be $5. Upon finishing he told me my total was $27!!! That more than a fresh full set! He had charged me to fix the nails. I asked him why he wouldn't tell me beforehand, he shrugs his shoulders and says "we always charge". My point was that he told me about the $5 for the no chip take off but not that he was charging me $3 per nail to fix the "broken" nails. They also changed their somewhat of a loyalty program with no notice. You'd usually get two signatures on the card if you pay cash and one if you use debit. Now you get one for cash and nothing for credit!! You would think they'd at least set out some sort of signage identifying the changes. Fast forward to the next day. I hesitantly take my daughter to get her nails and feet done. When I go to pay they tell me $20. I ALWAYS pay $15 for her nails and feet. I tell the guy this he says "no we always charge $20 for kids pedicure" and stands there arguing with me in a salon full of people!! Where's the customer service?! Then another guy that works there jumps in and tells me I'm wrong and how I need to ask before getting the stuff done. Ask? I always pay the same amount! Before I know it they are both yelling at me and of course I yell back. Needless to say I'll NEVER go here and I advise you don't and take your precious money elsewhere. Every time I go in for something as simple as a polish change its an hour wait. What's crazy is that it's not because they have a lot of people waiting it's because they only have 4 people working. Not only are you gonna wait forever but they don't charge you the same amounts for the same service.
