I found a large selection of gluten free cereals and breads, a luxury I didn't expect in Ireland (so far I've been proven wrong- many businesses are gluten-aware and happy to help). The produce was local and fresh, the staff helpful and the selection more than decent. The layout is a little confusing. We entered from the parking lot and found ourselves in the checkout lines, while the bread and produce are downstairs via a ramp, with a matching ramp leading up into the mall. Pricing is reasonable and the store does a good job of highlighting local food. I will be going back!

I had decided to go to try the costa coffee place up on a first floor level, at the other end of pay parking. I passed a few chain store places and a soup and sandwich place in the ground floor. The sandwich place doesn't display prices. As nature would have it I decided to go to the restroom first. This is the only restroom in the entire place and it's two floors up. It was stinking. Absolutely foul - one was out of order with what looked like CSI crime scene tape - and the place I went into had no lock on the cubicle and out of four wash hand basins only one had a soap dispenser. This place is absolutely worth missing and given the pathetic state of the toilets I gave Costa a miss

Building seems to have been a bank in a former life. Great selection of branded clothing. Generic stuff and you're not going to find something unique but it does what it says on the tin. Service from staff very helpful and not too pushy. Upstairs is the formal suits, wedding hire and on the 2nd floor is Hepburn, a wedding/stag/hen party specialist.

So its been a firm feature throughout my childhood and adulthood. I would come here every week to buy a few second hand books, as I was such a fast reader. Many of the significant books of my childhood came from here - my first loves, as it were. As other independent bookstores in the town have closed their doors, I'm pleased that Liber has just seemed to get bigger and better. The store is modern, and offers the latest texts. Unlike other chain stores in the town I won't bother to name, the staff know what they're talking about, and are always more than happy to help you make your selection. The second hand book section is no longer a significant feature, but they have the latest titles in every section - food, art, new releases, childrens books, and they have a dedicated Yeats and Sligo section. Down the back of the store is Third Wave Music, where you can buy vinyl, record players, cds and dvds. A small but well curated selection of music, reflecting the tastes of its owner. If I'm buying a book, I'll wait to come home to Sligo to buy locally - my loyalty is a direct result of the staff and the atmosphere the place creates. The branding is contemporary and I'm always proud to give friends the gifts of books, wrapped in a Liber Sligo paper bag. Liber is also a ticketmaster outlet.
