Anyway Dunnes Stores eh? What can I say, it is a bit of an institution in Northern Ireland and Ireland, it is kind of the same deal as Primark. Low quality clothes but at an excellent price. For instance I think I have got a few white shirts for various occasions from Dunnes stores. I would say its target audience is the older generation as I do not see too many young people go in and out of Dunnes. But it must be doing okay as it has been in its unit in the Flagship centre for years and years. If you need the basics in terms of clothes and don't want to spend too much money then I would go to Dunnes Stores. The flagship Centre is right in the centre of town and there is on site parking and ATM's galore.

I have never been dissatisfied with anything that I have purchased from this store wether for me or as a present. It really is value for money with prices being very affordable for the quality provided. The only problem I have when shopping here is that there are so many nice things to choose from, just when you think you have got what you want, you see something else that had a bigger wow factor!! It is a lovely clean and bright store and the layout always stay the same so there is no valuable time wasted trying to find the section you are looking for. All in all I can't really say anything negative about this store except that I really could shop till I drop when I go into it but I always manage to come home with one of those great bargains that we all love to get our hands on !!

This place is massive, having recently been extended with a much larger clothes and home section added. This means that there is always something you can pop into get for a present for your parents or your girl/boyfriend. The food section in here is great and I'm a particularly huge fan of the profiteroles. The staff are always friendly and attentive and always on hand to help out. The parking here is amazing with plenty of free spaces. On top of that it is based in Bloomfield Shopping Centre which means it is easy to get to with lots of ATMs and other shops about.

I just feel that it is either quite a dead place to visit or it is so busy that the experience of shopping here can be quite traumatic! In honesty the place has improved over the last year and there have been quite a few new business opened up and some of the original ones have restructured but there still is something about the place that unlike other shopping centres doesn't entice me to want to stay and browse . In its defence there are a lot of new business opening which might improve the complex but I don't think anything would make me want to give up my precious time and come here for a days shopping .

This particular branch would be my favourite. As one of the larger superstore types of places this one can get quite busy without ever really felling packed, something I've been more aware of since the onset of Corona and social distancing. This is a major design flaw and I would love to know the amount of bumps that occur in this car park. The shop itself is great. It has a really large fruit and veg section and a good hot food counter - You know what you get when you go to Sainsbury's. It's the middle of the road supermarket although they often have really good offers on. At peak times this Sainsbury's can get incredibly busy so I would recommend going off peak or you'll never get out of the car park.

I have bought several things from this shop and have always been impressed with the price and the service. The girls behind the counter don't bug you no matter how long you browse. I recently bought a friend of a friend, who's birthday party I was attending two gorgeous rustic candle holders and two scented candles for less than a tenner!! Bargain or what! The best thing is the girls behind the counter will wrap them for you and put them in a nice little bag making the gift look way more expensive than it is. There are three parts to the shop; one area for gifts as I've mentioned, one area for kitchen goods and cookware and an upstairs with children's toys and clothes. You know those fiddly people in your life who cause you huge issues when it comes to present buying for them? A friend of mine had a milestone birthday approaching, but I don't know her well enough to warrant an absolute plethora of gifts. So, I thought I would play it safe and get her a bracelet. This particular one was a gorgeous pink beaded bracelet with a tiny charm, bearing of the name of the company who made it. The shop assistant was fantastic and provided the loveliest silver pouch for my, I mean, my friend's new piece of jewellery. As she lovingly wrapped the bracelet, I soon realised that I hadn't asked the price...ooops. Slight panic ensued, but as soon as the shop assistant pleasantly asked for £6, my heart started beating again. What a bargain for such a luxurious looking piece of costume jewellery. Happy days. My little nephew is due to start primary one in September so my sister and I went down to Roberts on Central Avenue to see if we could get him all kitted out and ready to hit the primary one big time. On entrance to the shop it was chaotic, boxes and blazers as far as the eye could see and about 20 other mums franticly sifting through the boxes of jumpers. My sister, being a wily fox, thought rather than head to the boxes and scramble through with all the other Mum's she would grab an assistant. This was no easy task either, but eventually she found someone to help. This seems to be the key with this place because we were out of the shop all kitted out within 15 minutes while the other Mums bought things that their kids would have to grow into. The unique thing about Roberts is that they also stock clothes for local clubs and societies including the Boys Brigade and church groups such as the Brownies and Girl Guides. The girl who helped my sister and I was great, so if I was to give you one piece of advice it is if you are going to Roberts of Bangor ask for some help, it will make this experience a whole lot easier.

We stopped off and walked into this huge cave of a place - a mixture of ladies, gents and children's clothing. I trawled through lots of different clothes, some marked with stickers that say 'This garment was produced for a popular high street store' - I guess they have a small amount of factory seconds but most of the products are too expensive for customers looking for a bargain. Well believe me this one has got to be visited to appreciate just what an alladins cave it is. So many bargains in one place can be a little overwhelming and all great brand names at that ! I couldn't believe how some items could be sold so cheaply This store sells everything including fresh food and frozen produce so it is possible to do all your shopping under one roof! The store itself is very well laid out with lots of space between the aisles. staff are very helpful with a welcoming g smile. There is good parking facilities at the door and ample disability parking. The store is easy to find being just off the main Belfast to Bangor road. I really am impressed with this store and will certainly be back and recommend it to others.
