    I love their fruit bowls!

Downstairs - Great place for a quick bite to eat or some light grocery shopping. Upstairs - department store type of shopping. Very close to many businesses, but especially our business office on Arthur St. Convenient with many options, healthy and treat-type. I was tempted to buy one of the delicious cakes for my lunch ;) I stuck to the fruit bowls and salads. Easy to make a quick selection and check out quickly, either in the self-checkout or the full service check-outs. Either option is easy! Love this place! Just wish I had one closer to me.

Can't wait to get tucked in to this

M&S has evolved over the years and I have found this store to be bright and airy. Sometimes there can be a bit of a clutter and stock too close together but it is changing with the times and has improved. I find the shoes to be extremely comfortable and the only place where I buy underwear as everywhere else weeks to have installed a torture device in their bras which M&S has thankfully not! The food hall is as always out on this world and you could spend a fortune treating yourself with all the delights on offer. They have recently started doing branded goods in the food hall and also in the make up.

Great range of M&S Autograph cosmetics available in store...

Marks & Spencer is synonymous with quality and this massive store located on Donegall Place has every item you could want under one roof. Clothes, accessories, underwear, shoes, household, bedding, kitchen equipment, food, wine, books and there's even a Bureau de Change! You can buy practically anything here. I love that M&S own-brand makeup, beauty and household products are Leaping Bunny stamped and cruelty free and think an M&S gift voucher makes the perfect present for any occasion (big, shameless hint for my family and friends ;-))

Filling lunch of chicken toastie and scone with jam + cream. Fancy personal cute jam jar!

I used to think IKEA was special for having a cafe inside it, but it seems like most European stores include their own cafes and even grocery stores. I came to the cafe on the upper level of Marks & Spencer with coworkers and enjoyed a very filling lunch of a chicken toastie and scone with cream and jam. It is a high-end, more expensive store in general, perhaps reflected in the personal tiny cute glass jar of jam one buys as the jam for one's scone, and the older clientele. In addition, a coworker brought in cookies from their downstairs food hall today and they--the shortbread and granola cookies--were absolutely delicious! Five stars for the cookies. Now I know where to go for the sweets. Will definitely be back to explore the bakery offerings.

Once you've had your fill of shopping in the city…read morecentre (see my reviews on CastleCourt and Victoria Square), there's still a few places left to burn out the credit card. Just a five minute drive from the city centre, Boucher Road has quite a few shops in it, most of which are located in Boucher Crescent Retail Park or Shane Retail Park (see my review on Shane retail park). There are men and women's clothing shops (River Island, Next, Burton, the Jeanery...), a sports shop, HMV, Starbuck's, Boots... the list goes on. There's a hell of a lot of space dedicated to parking here, but it can still be very difficult to get a space on a Saturday or Sunday. It's not a mall type place where you can get lost in, it's one of those places where the shops are all lined up in a row and you come out of one shop and into the next one - good for methodical shoppers, or those who don't have a lot of time. The downside is that the traffic on the Boucher Road can be crazy between 4 and 6p.m. But, if you're a visitor and you're out for a day's shopping, get yourself a 'day ticket' (see my Translink review) and you can take a trip up here before/after shopping in the city centre.

You can buy everything for the house from cleaning products to furniture and the nice thing is that the prices are very reasonable. I love browsing round the store as I always come out with something a little bit different for the house and if you are looking for a gift with a difference either for a wedding or child's birthday you can always count on finding it in store. So if you are looking for something of good quality and reasonably priced give this store a visit. You will always find the best selection of Christmas trees and decorations at that seasonal time of year which takes the hassle out of hunting around. Go on , you won't be disappointed !

It has everything you could possibly want, within reason of course. Furniture, stationery, toys, household appliances, confectionary, toiletries to name but a few. In fact there's so much variety that nearly every time I go and attempt to find what I need, I have to ask a member of staff where it is located. And they nearly always have it. In recent weeks I have purchased nail brushes, non-powdered gloves, a stapler, huge bags of sweets, hairspray...all cheap as chips too. Probably cheaper than chips to be fair, they're awful expensive these days. Cannot recommend it enough. Go and grab yourself a bargain!
