Very clean mall with all famous international brands and restaurant. One stop shopping and dining destination. Best thing is to take the elevator in the center where the glass dome is, on the 3 floor is the galley view floor that you can have 360 Panoramic view of the city with information of where things are. Recommend to do it at the clear day.

Note: all my recent vacation in Ireland Yelp reviews will have the same 1st paragraph preamble, for just the review itself skip to the 2nd paragraph. On a whirlwind 2 week vacation to Ireland, the girlfriend & I tried to see & experience absolutely as much of this incredible land as we could. We did not accomplish every last activity we wished we could have on our rather ambitious itinerary. Nonetheless, we did discover a land of numerous stunning & magical wonders. We did see a land of unending natural beauty. We did learn of a land with a monumentally long history of trials, tragedies & triumphs. We did get to meet many kind, humorous, warm & generous people. Our vacation to Ireland was just 2 weeks, but that was time enough to know this is a land easy to love & a land to be sorely missed. Scanning the Belfast skyline from our hotel window, I noticed a domed structure that looked interesting. While strolling around 1 afternoon, I figured I'd go try to find this dome. My casual search eventually led me to Victoria Square. Just like every shopping center I've been to back in the States, ultimately, for the most, a mall is a mall. Sweeping walkways that carry hordes of shoppers past a litany of shop fronts, long sight lines & a food court, it's all there. As far as generic malls go, Victoria Square is a little above average. Everything is neat & new, plus there's an airy feel from the very high glass ceilings & outdoor openings. The 1 thing that puts this place over the top is the dome. High atop the mall, inside of the large geodesic dome, is an observation deck with a nearly 360° view of Belfast & beyond. The view is certainly one of the best of the entire city. Written on the glass, at certain points around the dome, are descriptions of the sights that can be seen when looking that direction. This deck is easily reached by either numerous flights of spiraling staircase or a leisurely ride in a glass elevator. Either way, the view is also quite nice going up & coming down. Victoria Square ,in many ways, is a mall like many others, but the dome makes this place worth seeking out. It is possibly the best spot to see all of Belfast at once.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Victoria Square

In my opinion Victoria Square is commercially savvy, trendy and the epitome of Modern Belfast. It's brought the High Street's biggest brands to Belfast, something that we were previously lacking. The design is excellent, it cuts through the city creating an opulent snicket that connects central Belfast with the Cathedral Quarter. With shops set over two levels it never feels too busy, this may be due to the natural light shimmering on the glass dome reflecting and refracting to create the illusion of space or it may be due to the fact that it's never busy, who knows! Many UK shopping malls have copied the inside/outside design of Victoria Square, one that comes to mind is the recently opened Trinity Centre in Leeds. On a practical level - There's a cinema and a food court in Victoria Square with pretty good variety. Parking is also excellent, there's a Qpark under the complex - modern and futuristic you'll feel like you're entering the starship enterprise rather than pulling in to a car park. Don't forget to smile for the cameras at the car park barriers and don't pull an awkward face when you're struggling to reach for your ticket like I did. All these car park extras don't come cheap but you pay for the convenience of being an ascending escalator away from the best shops Belfast has to offer. Despite the fact that it's generally large brands that occupy the shop space in Victoria Square they often promote independent traders, giving them central stalls on the lower level - I'm a big fan of this. All in all I can't not give Victoria Square 5 stars - I love the feeling of luxury it's brought to Belfast.

This is the larger of the two shopping centres on the city centre, and in my opinion the better of the two. Conveniently located Victoria Square boasts a whole range of well known outlets, eateries and a cinema. It's design gives you the feeling of being outside whilst still undercover and has several entry points for easy access It also has a large underground car park however it is very expensive, if for city centre prices! There are often also craft and picture fayres which take place on Saturday and Sunday's with a range of items from local artists and traders On a clear day you must check out the observery, which you have to access via the lifts, to get a unique view over the city All in all this is a great one stop shop in the city centre which is bright and clean and offers great variety

This is a great space. Lots of fancy shops I can't afford. But the windows always look nice. Lol Though it is quite hard for new people to work out how to get onto various floors. And House of Fraser is a complete maze. Lifts are slow. Awesome view from dome.

I remember the opening of this shopping centre (which in itself is remarkable because I have the memory of a wasp with no memory). It was only opened two years ago and was aimed at competing with the original Belfast shopping centre, CastleCourt. Imagine Victoria Square to be CastleCourt's younger, sexier, more designer orientated brother. The shopping centre boasts a huge number of stores, with 98 potential outlets. The four floors are designed to look as if you are still outside despite being under a glass roof which is a welcome change from other shopping centres. It houses the largest erm.. House of Frasier in all of the UK which I've walked through and could afford nothing. It also has a huge Odeon Cinema, a bunch of places to eat and a chance to go to a viewing gallery high above the shopping centre which can look out over Belfast. It has, according to some, regenerated the shopping industry in the South of Belfast and I certainly agree. It is fresher and more exciting than Castlecourt, though no where near as cheap or family orientated. If you are going shopping in town, definately call into Victoria Square.

Victoria Square has transformed Belfast. If you're old enough, as I am, to remember the old Victoria Shopping Centre which used to stand in its place, then you'll understand just how dramatically this area of Belfast has changed over recent years. I love the beautiful, clean, modern architecture. It's a building of multiple levels and glass with a spacious and airy feel. Although roofed, it's not fully closed off to the elements which makes a refreshing change from the norm. The central highlight is the glass dome, from which you'll see amazing rooftop views of Belfast. However I strongly recommend you take the lift, not the stairs up, as it's quite a climb. Victoria Square is filled with a huge range of shops, restaurants and has an Odeon cinema too. You'll often find a wonderful craft market on ground floor level at weekends. I'd recommend visiting the Apple Store, Fatface, H&M, House Of Fraser, Monsoon, The Perfume Shop, Pizza Express, Wagamama and the Odeon Cinema. Furthermore you can purchase a Gift Card which can be used in all the shops and restaurants within Victoria Square - a great gift idea. Just avoid the car park though as it's extortionate.

Don't believe everything you read - Victoria Square is not designer. It's definitely high-end High Street, but apart from some designer concessions in House of Fraser and one store - Cruise, all the other stores are normal high street shops. No they're not as cheap as Primark, but let's be honest, nowhere is as cheap as Primark! The centre itself is an architectural wonder. I still love walking in from Victoria Street and seeing that lovely stairwell winding up to the dome. That said, the dome was a little disappointing. Perhaps because I went on a grey day and no city looks exciting on a grey day! Moving on, the shops are some of the best in Belfast. Because it's still so young, all the stores in Victoria Sqaure still look shiny and new. House of Fraser has some good concessions (Mango, Kurt Geiger, and my personal favourite, Mimco), there's an Apple Store (the only one on this island and very likely to have queues outside when there's a new product), some good places to eat (The Ivory restaurant at the top of House of Fraser is a real highlight) and high street favourites like Topshop, H&M and Accessorize. In other words - something for everyone. Other reviewers are right when they say that it's not as family-friendly as its rival, Castlecourt, but it's clean, modern, spacious and has, rightly or wrongly, moved the shopping centre of Belfast.

A classy Christmas in Victoria Square

When Victoria Square opened there was talk that it had killed shopping in Belfast. What a lot of nonsense. The fact is that it has enlivened the area, with loads of new businesses reinvigorating the whole area around it, and it has become a beautiful beacon in Belfast's skyline. There is a great variety of shops in here to suit most tastes and budgets from high end to high street, and also an array of places to eat for when you've worn yourself out round the shops. Don't miss the viewing platform on the top floor, and if you want to escape from the clothes rails there is a pretty nice cinema up there too. The basement parking is really handy, but be careful, it isn't cheap, and if you are visiting after 6 the street parking nearby is free, leaving you more cash for sparkly shoes..

When I first visited Victoria Square on a freezing cold day in April I was bewildered as to why the designers built something that would be better suited to the climate in Spain- not Belfast! The wind was howling around the centre, so much so that it was less windy outside and we left. However, fast forward a few years and I couldn't live without this place! It's like shopping outside except you don't get wet, so perhaps they knew what they were doing after all? The shops are all really well presented and kitted out and they also have some really great designer stores here helping Belfast to jump up the cultural stakes with London and other great cities. The food courts in here are by far the greatest Offering TGI Fridays, Nando's, Frankie and Benny's, China king, Mc Donald's and many more! We actually come here for food more often than anywhere else! Plus there's an Odean Cinema on the top floor too! Could this place be any cooler! Oh, check it out at Christmas, they do a fab job and a trip up to the Dome to see Belfast in all it's glory is a must!

    Lynne M.

Blimey, I always feel like a tramp when I walk through Victoria Square. Not only do most of the shoppers exude that designer vibe, but the building itself is really chic and cool. And then there's me dandering along in my Primark skinnies and pumps, with a Primark shirt thrown on for good measure. Most of the shops are indeed top end, pricey stores which attract the likes of the Lisburn Road's clientele. A debate did ensue when Victoria Square opened due to its high number of designer stores in comparison to the likes of Castle Court. For me, they do have their place, and suit Victoria Square's sleek appearance rather well. However, there is a lovely Exhibit store on the bottom level of the complex, as well as River Island, H&M, Accessorise,Topshop and Pull & Bear, so all is not lost for those of us who aren't so into our designer labels. The restaurants which stand on the top two levels of Victoria Square attract a great many diners, and do very well. There's even a 'glam' McDonald's (I know, I can't believe I used those two words in the same sentence...), Pizza Hut and Nando's (swoon...read my first ever review if you're intrigued about this one). Victoria Square is the vocal point of Belfast, and it's easy to see why. It's seductive and elegant, with an unbelievably great view from the gallery in the dome. You really can't miss it...particularly that huge glass dome. I don't know where you're looking if you can't see it - it's practically visible from nearly every point in Belfast...

    Robbie B.

There is plenty here for everyone, and isn't as high end and designer as was its reputation when it first opened. Places like the Apple Shop, H&M, Fossil and Topshop are all top class high street stores and the staff in all of these places are really friendly and helpful. The parking is usually ok, and isn't too pricey. But if you wanting to save even more money you should park just the other side of the Queen's Bridge and do the quick 5 minute walk to the centre. There are restaurants and cinemas and shops here, it really is a one-stop shop for everything in Belfast. And its a lovely place to be, always light and airy, good atmosphere all round

I am also a bit of a Primark bargain hunter and while the branch in Ards is small, it seems to have some of the better bits you find in the bigger stores, particularly PJs. For a Primark raid, park behind the centre rather than in the car park and nip in the back door. If you do, you'll pass a line of cafes which are dated and forlorn but seem to do good business nonetheless. There is a really big branch of Asda which does a good range of ladies and kids clothes and I've picked up a couple of good bits and piece for the kids there. The Wu flu has sure turned things upside down in retail with many retail companies that were barely holding on pre Wu flu were decimated through lock down. I went to Starbucks on the first floor and I had to wait for a seat as most seating has been removed or blocked off. Their service was real friendly for folk denied a living wage. The store was kept properly clean too. The coffee was darn good and it came in a real ceramic cup as for the last 15 months these chain coffee companies - the few that were open - have only given out paper cups with those nasty plastic lids - in this part of the world customers usually can't refuse the plastic lid - the elf & safety police - so 1 maybe 2 green stars for Starbucks. I took a walk to Yangtze to consider lunch; this place used to be a real highlight with darn good salted chilli prawns and squid, yeung chow fried rice (char siu pork; cooked shrimp; scallions, chopped; eggs yolks; peas; carrots) but these delights are all gone. They were going pre Wu Flu but it accelerated the decline. Instead, and just like my last visit, I watched staff placing big steel containers full of cooked food into a bain marie hot water bath, sweet & sour chicken, black bean chicken at 11am - even chips, chips in a bain marie for over an hour. The lights weren't even on, service was an hour away. So here it's all pre cooked chicken. No pork, no prawns and if there's beef I couldn't see it. Now take sweet & sour (just like black bean) the sauce is meant to be a coating on the meat. It's not stew like this place serves. The sauce isn't intended to constitute over half the served dish. We got about a 10-15 min break here and my impression of the mall was that it was very British and seeing all those sale signs with the £ symbol was a bit jarring, when just 2 hours ago, it was all € currency and signage. Anyway, there were 4 women's loo stalls and one was out-of-order. So long wait! I saw a person cleaning the main corridors of the mall (it was around 10am) and there was one tea & sandwich shop open which did a brisk business with our tour group. It looked like a nice mall, with plenty of free parking spaces, but I really don't have anything else to review, as didn't really avail of any services here apart from the loos. Yelp 128/ 2019

It's full on pound stores and other bargain outlets giving it that really cheap feeling. Don't get me wrong I like a bargain as much as the next person but The Park Centre is bordering on depressing. It's only saving grace is that it has a good car park, if it didn't I don't think anyone would visit. Please someone invest a few quid (I said a few quid not more quid stores) in to the Park Centre, even the logo is dated!

Another one for all you shoppers out there. Once you've had your fill of shopping in the city…read morecentre (see my reviews on CastleCourt and Victoria Square), there's still a few places left to burn out the credit card. Just a five minute drive from the city centre, Boucher Road has quite a few shops in it, most of which are located in Boucher Crescent Retail Park or Shane Retail Park (see my review on Shane retail park). There are men and women's clothing shops (River Island, Next, Burton, the Jeanery...), a sports shop, HMV, Starbuck's, Boots... the list goes on. There's a hell of a lot of space dedicated to parking here, but it can still be very difficult to get a space on a Saturday or Sunday. It's not a mall type place where you can get lost in, it's one of those places where the shops are all lined up in a row and you come out of one shop and into the next one - good for methodical shoppers, or those who don't have a lot of time. The downside is that the traffic on the Boucher Road can be crazy between 4 and 6p.m. But, if you're a visitor and you're out for a day's shopping, get yourself a 'day ticket' (see my Translink review) and you can take a trip up here before/after shopping in the city centre.

The clothing range has always been a bit banal although of a decent enough quality and well-priced. Although recently I've felt that the prices have started to creep up without a rise in the general level of quality or overall style. I'm not really sure who is buying the food as I've always found that despite being quite big it doesn't really feel like the sort of shop you go to do your 'big shop'. Rather it somehow comes across a bit more like an oversized convenience store. The prices are a little higher than I think many would expect to pay too. Usually when you shop 'convenience' you're just getting a few things and you know you're paying a little more as the shop is handy, but here isn't really handy unless you already happen to live right beside it anyway. The finishing is a bit dull too, well maybe not dull.... Dated. All in all its just not that much fun to go into and really the other big Dunnes Store in Forestside makes this one look like the poor cousin.
