However, what's worse than that is when you've had vegetables in the refrigerator that go bad a few days after purchasing them, that have to be thrown away before cooking them. I'm particularly fond of okra, green beans and broccoli. The most expensive vegetable is the one that has to be discarded because it went bad too fast prior to cooking. That said, Sprouts has the Best vegetables of any grocery store I've shopped at in 20 years. Amazingly all the vegetables taste wonderful and fresh as they should. Example: I purchased some peaches at Sprouts 2 days ago and enjoyed one last night and again a few minutes ago. Those peaches were absolutely delicious! Had I purchased them from a Publix, Kroger or Walmart, they'd have tasted somewhat like a peach and would have seem mushy and bland. Produce here is quality. I'm might seem more expensive, however for the taste, quality and freshness, to me it's a bargain.

The cashiers keep the lines moving quickly, and the app allows you to scan your membership/loyalty account from your phone. Inside has always been pretty clean whenever I've been in there. I don't know what Mark H.'s problem is, but if he wants to gnat pick about dead insects that are in an area where only sealed items are stored, then why does he keep shopping here?

Having shopped at the Kroger on Hwy 92, I can say 99% of the negative reviews are valid. 92 represents what a Kroger (or any other retailer should NOT be like. I had to bring that up, because in comparison the Town Center Kroger is a "Taj Mahal." I've been there several times in the past week and though some of the various food items might not be up to Publix standards (like the store brand chicken or their steaks), the produce and everything else was nice, displayed well and clean... people were friendly. For Pete sakes, if you're going to shop at a Kroger, this is the one you should go to. Think I'm wrong? Visit the other Kroger stores and you'll understand. This store, IMHO is the "flagship" of reasonable priced grocery stores in the area.

There is a piece of paper stuck in one of the shelves for 6yrs. There is broken spice debris and dirt and grime from the oil in certain spices. Touching the bottles is a guessing game if they are clean. The produce section is a joke. Constantly reaching for a piece of fruit that is not rotten is difficult. The subs are usually not ready and as was my experience tonight, after they weren't ready on time again even though I ordered 40 minutes ahead of time, I left and came back 20 minutes later to be told that they were out of chicken tenders and didn't know how long it would be before they could make the subs. Had I been told that on my first visit or called since they ask for your phone number when you order I could have made other plans. I feel like this place is a coin flip.
