She store associate listened to what we were looking for and made several recommendations. We decided on a couch purchase. The couch was delivered to our home by two young men, who were courteous - they took off their shoes prior to entering the house. They introduced themselves and placed the couch where I has asked them. It didn't fit where I initially wanted it so they kindly stated it was no problem to move it across the room. They were cautious of the walls and floor when moving the couch. Afterwards they explained and demonstrated how to care for the couch. On leaving, they picked up all the packing and and wished me a "wonderful rest of my day". i am so impressed from start to finish with my Scandedesigns dealings. I would definitely deal with them in the future!

It will not come within three months, it will take 10. People will call you every month to tell you that it will be another two months. But it will be more. When, in an entirely new calendar year, your items finally arrive, it will be at location in a different galaxy altogether and though Leon's originally promised you they would deliver, they now say they do not deliver to your city. Did they twice promise to deliver to your address and did you wait around squandering precious hours of your life only to have the items never arrive? Yes. So now that they've decided they don't deliver (despite having charged you for delivery) can they help you figure out how to get your ten-month-old furniture delivered? No. No, they will not. Will they phone the other location to help that location arrange delivery? Nope. Can they tell you the pick-up address, colour, packaging, weight, logistical information required to hire a shipping company? No. Oh, but they can give you more phone numbers with which to waste your time. Oh, punch line! They have given you a wrong number. This is truly the worst business with which I've ever had the misfortune of spending my hard-won pennies. Can I give zero stars? I give Leon's minus-one thousand stars. And I'm still laughing.

I dropped off a bunch of boxes last week, which was a simple experience. I decided to have a quick…read morelook in store since I was already there, I was pleasantly surprised. Clothing was priced very well, they had one colour code for clothing at 50 % off another for $.50, yes 50 cents. A nice employee told me they always have really good deals at the beginning of the month. I found 3 tops that were perfect for me at a great price, there selection was good and I would of bought more if more of what I liked had fit. The first volunteer who talked with me seamed to really like working there, she said she's been there for 10 years, and they are always looking for more volunteers. My great aunt has also volunteered there for over 20 years and i was surprised to see a number of other familiar faces volunteering there also. Looks like they all were enjoying being there. The store had a renovation about 1.5 years ago, it looked a lot larger then the last time I was there. It is now much more open and easier to manoeuvre through. Proceeds from this store go to charity. Have fun shopping and donating merchandise.

We made a decent purchase of an outdoor play centre with Toys R Us and we shopped…read moreeverywhere....their sale price was less than Costco, so we decided to spend our money at the "World's Greatest Toy Store" as they bill themselves? Bought the unit on sale. Regular price was $1099 and the "sale" price was $849. That was a very fair price and I was told by the associate it was the best price he's seen. We ordered it and it would take 6 weeks to come in...no problem. 3 weeks later, I noticed a Toys R Us flyer and the same play centre was on sale again, but this time for $799? I phoned the store right away and asked if they had a price guarantee? I was told they did, but then they should have emailed me a waiver form or something? There were all these rules and regulations and hoops to jump through. After giving me the info, I asked if I could get a refund of the difference and he said there were two ways, so no issue. He couldn't do anything over the phone and said I had to come in before the item arrived. He didn't tell me that I needed to come in right away?! About a week later I went into the store to deal with this and was told there's nothing they could do for me as the flyer was out the week before? I told them about my previous phone call and they became rude and came up with all these reasons why their price guarantee was null & void in this situation?! They refused to deal with this any further! All I was looking for was the best price on what I purchased....I wasn't looking for a price guarantee against another toy store....I just wanted to make this a fair deal that I wasn't paying anymore than the next guy!!! It's not fair and it doesn't make sense!
