So reluctantly (both him and I) took him to Wilwood Pet Spa. Took some coaching to get him out of his carrier - but once out, Jocelyn was absolutely amazing! She was obviously knowledgeable, kind and respectful of his past 'session' and knew what to do - and not to do. I can not thank her enough. Very affordable and happy to report the puss is resting comfortable. Will be taking him back in a couple of months for a trim and couldn't recommend Milwood Pet Spa more highly! You can see why I'd be surprised to show up before 4pm and have them be closed with the door locked. Instead of saying 8-5, why not say our hours are whatever we want? I shouldn't have to call ahead to see if you people are open just to do a walk in. Otherwise, I would have made an appointment. Joke of a business. I'm doing whatever I can to draw business away from these people. Obviously they don't care, so why should the rest of the public give them anymore money?

Funny though, I was really looking forward to what this PetSmart had to offer. Being from the states I'm used to the large warehouse feeling of most places. But the difference is the Petsmart where I'm originally from was less than a 5 minute drive. Now you really have to travel out just to get there and if you're just going to see if they carry your brand of food only to find out they don't it can feel like a waste of time. Luckily I had a friend in tow that was looking for a new cat tree so it wasn't a total waste of time for me. As with most warehouse type shopping experience everything is going to be slightly cheaper and you'll probably have lots of options to choose from but again if you're just going for one thing: Meh. There wasn't anyone there (customer wise) when we were perusing for cat tree's. I don't think this particular location has caught on just yet so the employees seemed overly eager to help us. Two of us vs five of them = too much customer service. But they seemed nice and really I don't blame them if they are having to stare at the windows all day at the empty parking lot. If they put a Costco out there, business would probably be mad hopping. Get your 50 pounds of ground beef for you and your 150 pound bag of food for your four-legger!

Price wise it can be expensive, but if you follow their social media and have signed up for the rewards card the sales can be AWESOME!

You can tell the owner really loves dogs and is passionate about dog rescue. She does not discriminate against bully breeds. She doesn't tack on tons of add-on fees like some dog grooming places in HRM do (for example: a 30 plus dollar fumigation fee if they find a flea, an aggressive/fearful dog fee etc.).
