EDIT after TJM response (TJM deleted their response it seems). There is absolutely still no reason for someone to trash a house. We all go thru life events and don't act like this. Again he caused us a lot of money in having to clean and repair the damages to our home. TJM is making excuses for this tenant. We used TJM to manage our property. It has taken us 6 months to finally write this review. They managed our property for about 10+ years. After this last tenant was asked to leave we found out just how bad they allowed OUR house/property to get. This tenant had been there for over 5 years, paid every month on time, but was a total pig. He allowed his dogs to piss all over the house, chew the walls and doors, ruined the wood floors. This tenant NEVER cleaned the house ever. Once we got him out, we did a walk thru with TJM. My jaw dropped walking into the place. He left behind most of his belongings including furniture, trash, bed,dishes etc. The house smelled so bad. The cobwebs and filth that I saw was absolutely appalling. I was told "oh this isn't too bad, we have seen much worse". Excuse me! Some of the things we noticed after cleaning the place was that every winter we were charged with winterizing the windows units etc. All they did was spray foam around the units. It looked like crap. The wrapping around the bibs was a joke. Just a mess. I doubt they ever did walk throughs because if they did the house should not have been left in the state it was. Screens were out of most of the windows, tub broken, storm door broken, the stove was disgusting and looked as if there were mice living in the bottom and the A/C units were filthy just to name a few. They were never cleaned or taken care of, but we sure did pay for maintenance of them. Lastly once we got all the trash out of the house and yard we ended up needing to get a 30 yard dumpster and 2 16 yard dumpsters. We had to gut the whole house and put it back together. If we knew what we know now we would have gone with a different Property Management Co. To this day he still owes us a bunch of money that we will never see. Never again read more

The owners treat people with complete disrespect and have a severe lack of care for our community. They try to censor negative reviews by getting them deleted as well as manipulating others opportunities to hear honest reviews by making people submit good reviews. Do not do business with them. I do not recommend. If you have them fix or replace something, they put you on a month to month lease and then refuse to renew, even if you have been an excellent tenet for over 12 years. Joan is a slumlord and Melissa is a manipulative, lying creature. Do not rent from these people. Do not do any business with these people. They are unethical, conniving, cruel, liars. They retaliated when renters call out their refusal to adhere to their part of the lease by maintaining the premises. So there's a law for that and now a law suit against TJM. Dont understand why these apartments are not updated. with the popcorn ceilings, inadequate appliances (outdated). dishwasher that with all of these appliances hot water heater, etc - from early 1980s which was when it was built Why did my rent increase to the same as the newer properties (part of this same area) and part of this area - without upgrades? i know this property is owned by a company from Florida. They need to take care of theses apartments. I like the apartment, but without upgrades - my heat, ac, etc. have been outrageous. Don't rent from these people I would say the girls in the office are nice . Fact is they work for a nasty old hag slum lord and know it . They rented me a condo with a hVac system that was full of mold and nasty crap . When I asked for a hVac company they sent there handy man chad over who sprayed the inside of the air handler with bleach used a garden hose to wash it out all into the system . Then turned on the blower and left it running for hours to dry it . Covering everything own with fiberglass and toxic crap made me very sick . I completed a one year lease with TJM in Marble Falls, TX by fulfilling all the terms of the lease. My family was treated very poorly even though I paid my rent every month. Twice I paid on the 6th because of the way my payroll fell and was threatened with eviction even though I gave them notice. They office manager Michelle speaks to you in a very rude manner when your rent is on time if you have a concern. When I moved out I had paid for my entire stay and had given notice yet the maintenance supervisor came to rush us out the day before we were to move out and before noon the day of move out. I informed her that I wanted to make sure the place was clean. I cleaned thoroughly and took pictures because I didn't trust the company yet they charged me an excess cleaning fee and trash removal. I left the place in immaculate condition. Also, before I signed my lease I was promised that they would repair the carpet which was badly worn and had stains that they could not remove. When I asked about it after I moved in Michele said that there was nothing she could do and because I have kids she felt that it was fine. I am a law abiding citizen who pays their bills yet they treated my family like scum. I wish I would have listened to the warnings by people within the community but felt that if I paid my rent and abided within the rules of my lease I wouldn't have any problems. We rented a home from TJM Realty Group for two years. We put down 1300 in deposits. We left the home having cleaned all the appliances, the walls, the carpets....it was cleaner than when we moved in. It really was. They only gave a little over 400 dollars back of our deposits. for one of those years, our roof leaked for 8 months of the time. They were horrible to rent from, always rude. We are good people, we are good renters, we abide by all the rules. They are not good people. read more
