Absolutely horrible business, the employees obviously are not well trained and do not care about the customers. The business owner does not know how to run a business she is only looking for more money. If you want to ask for something extra on your nails, they will "try" although they will blatantly not tell you it costs more just to squeeze some extra money out of you. Most horrific nail experience ever! Made an appointment for a routine polish removal to remove gel polish. Had my nails cut so short my finger tips still hurt over a week later. Completely demolished my nails & cuticles. I naturally have hard, thick nails and for the first time in my life I experienced CHIPPING & PEELING of my nails and numerous hang nails. Over a week later, my hands are still in pain. They did such a terrible job removing the polish, I ended up having to redo my nails myself. A complete waste of my time and money. Should have just made an appointment with 5-Star Nails where I usually go in Vancouver - Judy always does a fantastic job and always charges a fair price for services. Unless you want your hands destroyed for weeks, don't go here! read more

Worst nail salon I have been to hands down. Originally booked well in advance to have four friends pedicure and was told we had to do them separately because they only had two that could do it at once but once we were there they had two other people getting pedicures at the same time (4 staff). Two of us that had to wait we're going to get acrylic nails but the staff was so unaccommodating and not friendly at all they wouldn't help explain the options and we ended up cancelling both services. It seems pretty expensive for what it is. They charge you an extra dollar if you dont bring your own nail files. They send it home with you, but still. It was $60.00 for a shellac pedicure with a "design". Wouldnt come here again. read more

Had Acrylic nails done by Tim and loved them. Perfectly shaped and he's got great attention to detail. Then decided to have a pedicure while there and feel bad I forget the girl's name -- maybe Tina. She did a beautiful job, recommended a colour I never thought I'd like but love it. I accidentally touched both big toes on the dryer and she had to re-do them both and never charged me extra and was really good about it. Both services were $90 including tax, not bad considering I was there for 3 hours. Con: the staff seem to be very happy amongst themselves but don't engage with you much. read more

I had a similar experience re butchering. Instead of using the fine tipped electric file under my nail "she" used the big round one for shaping nails and skinned my finger tips twice. I was continually breaking nails which never happens with anywhere else I go to. I have to say, it was never a "pleasant" experience for me and I did end up going there for maybe 8 visits. I always felt I was doing "her" a favour being there. I also got in trouble for wanting to change my nails from a faded sparkle back to white tips. I felt like I was in kindergarten. I never went back again after my fingers were skinned though - that was the last straw. However, their pedicures are excellent. Its a clean place. read more

Rude staff, rude when I got my nails done EVEN WORSE WHEN THEY HIRED ME TO BE A RECEPTIONIST. Got mocked and screamed at by staff, made fun of to other customers. Totally unprofessional. If you go, book for BILLY he deserves all the clients for he is the kindest one there. They will make fun of you, I even got called stupid / slow / unintelligent & made fun of to clients. 100% not worth my time, so many other better nail salons. Went for the first time and it was ok. Nothing really special. I got a full set a acrylics and my daughter had a pedicure. We were both unimpressed with the customer service. Nether of our technicians really spoke to us. Mine was too busy watching the tv or waiting to go on is IPAD. The technician that did my daughters pedicure made her feel bad cause the technician began talking to her coworker about her feet and that was not cool. Never going back there again. read more

Very disappointing customer service. The overall salon experience was basic and fine. I later realized that there was a mistake and phoned to ask to get it corrected. Lots of excuses were made for the mistake, no accountability was taken, and no flexibility in their policy was given for me to go back within 5 days to get it redone without charge. Had a pedicure. Was not told at the time of my booking that I either needed to bring my own emery board and sponge, or to buy it there at a cost of $1.00. The money's not the thing; just the fact that I was not informed. First time I've ever had to buy my own! The girl was just OK - my nails were not as clean as I'd do them myself. The customer service is terrible! The techniciens are rude and brusque and they are quite rough when cleaning cuticles. Any time you make a request (can I have my nails shorter?) they act put-out and huff and puff. I had a gel manicure done and it was done COMPLETELY wrong! In fact, after doing research online I realized that what they did was quite dangerous. Firstly, my old gel manicure was not removed properly. They should never soak your fingers in acetone and then scrape of the polish. Each finger is supposed to me individually wrapped with a small amount of acetone soaked cotton. Then she mixed the Gelish brand and OPI polish which you are NEVER supposed to do because they are not created to work together. I will never be going back and advise all of my friends against going as well. read more
