Threads is Tiffin's only boutique shop! Well all righty then. Lets try this again. Threads Inc. is Tiffins only boutique shop but don't let that scare you off. This place is a real gem! Tucked between other local business's on the edge of town, I wondered into this store after a hair appointment just two doors down. When I opened their door I was transformed into a boutique store that not only offered a variety of jewelry, clothing, fashionable items to shop for but several unique hand crafted items from artist around the country. Their customer service was impeccable, the sales staff was attentive and informative without being pesky. Sales associate Baxter, was absolutely adorable. He made a point of marching right up to me to say hello in his own special way. After a quick shake and pat he had deemed me good enough to shop their and moved on to the next customer. Kelly was also a pleasure to meet. Her passion for fashion and customer service is second to none. She has done a fantastic job of stocking the store with something for everyone. From the quilted Vera Bradley bags in the back of the store to the beautiful Pandora jewelry up front, I knew I was going to leave here with something. However, I had no idea it would be an original hand crafted jewelry box from a London, England born artist. Belts, bags, shoes, dresses, tops or bottoms she has so many items to choose from if you don't find something to buy it's because you aren't trying. .

It's interesting how I've gone to so many clothes, mentor stores in the region and they've always…read morebeen kind and welcoming. I walk into the Sandusky clothes, Mentor, and get a cold stare. No greeting at all for me and my friend but everyone else gets treated makes me wonder why? it definitely made me feel like I did not belong in the store, nor did they want people like me there if they did, they would have acted differently towards us. But they did which leads me to think that me, and people like me may not be welcome there. I am a big customer of clothes Mentor, and will not be shopping at the Sandusky location due to this experience. I hope that they learn from this and make a shift to make everyone feel welcome and valued as a customer.

The selection is great and they always have new stuff coming in, many of which are new with tags. Be sure to set aside at least an hour to browse through all the clothing, shoes, and accessories they have. The upstairs has the sale racks and the markdowns can be massive especially for end of the season clothes. I scored a new with tags lined leather black skirt for $8 and a pair of white NYDJ jeans for $12. I've never left empty handed. I don't live in Michigan anymore but my mom does so every time I'm in town this is a must visit!
