While driving in, I happened to see an employee and I asked him what time his store opens. He said to me "we are open". It was 733AM. Yep, drove up, closed. How does an employee not know their own hours? Was he just being a jerk? Is he really that dumb? Not a big deal except I was in a hurry to get somewhere and wound up going to Walmart anyway. At least they seem to know their own hours.

When my mother told me she scored it for 75% off, I rushed to the outlet before the 6 p.m. Sunday closing time to get a couple bottles for myself. "You probably wouldn't think we're nearing an outlet mall," I joked with my friend as we drove past my former piano teacher's house, progressing past a horse farm and pastures. I went a little berserk when I saw all the discounts at Bath & Body Works. Really nice lotions beckoned me at 50% and 75% off. I grabbed a huge Nectarine Mint candle marked at half the original price. I'm talking antibacterial hand soap, room fresheners, hand creams, body wash and more for astonishing bargains. I've been to this Bath & Body Works Outlet before when the prices matched the regular store more closely. Yesterday, however, all the shelves screamed with deals.

My husband thinks that this is an oxymoron but to me, it makes perfect sense because of the original Birkenstock sandal. I like the idea of an open "slip on". This store did not really have what I wanted but I have noticed that their selection is very poor and not because of quantity but quality. I challenged my husband to find one pair of ladies boots that were leather and he couldn't. Even once trusted brands that only delivered quality leather option have gone with vegan leather. Now, here is the deal, I don't mind that you prefer to sell vegan leather but the lower quality should be reflected in the price. Also, I think the boxes should carry a special marker to indicate that the product is not leather. As a general practice, I would love for stores to organize their shoes according to leather and non-leather options for the sake of convenience. This store chain has become the Dollar Store of shoes and is no longer an option for me.

It has better variety. It's bigger. The people are friendly. The only thing I don't like about this location is NO self checkout. So the lines tend to be longer here. But still a great place for shopping.
