The unknown customer was sincerely apologizing for a misunderstanding where she thought she was being given too much money on a return and was attempting to be honest and remediate the situation. The employee, (I went back after giving some thought just to get her name) Lisa was scoffing, and saying WELL IF YOU WOULD HAVE JUST LISTENED IT WASNT A MISUNDERSTANDING .. EXCUSE MEEEEEEEEEEEE??? A person like this doesn't belong in customer service!!! My son lives in Fernley, not myself. When I said hey I went to Tractor Supply and heard the rudest employee, my son was able to describe her to a T! The fact that he knew exactly who she was made my decision to walk back over there and get her name!! Will I return? ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! It was disheartening to say the least!! Joseph at the self-checkout and Diane in the cosmetics department both demonstrated exemplary customer service. They each took the initiative to assist me, and I sincerely appreciated their kindness and willingness to help. Sometimes it can be difficult to find someone when you need assistance, but on this particular day, they noticed I could use a hand and stepped in without hesitation. Their thoughtfulness and genuine care made my shopping experience so much easier. Words can't fully express my gratitude. Joseph and Diane are outstanding examples of what excellent customer service should look like, and I hope they receive the recognition they truly deserve.

I stumbled here in the very rare circumstance I needed something before Amazon could deliver it -- a snorkel set before leaving for Hawaii the next day. I was blown away what was inside. A full size Ferris wheel? Shooting Gallery? Cafe? Candy Store? On and On. While not nearly as impressive as the Bass Pros headquarters store in Springfield MO, for those in Reno locals/visitors, it's worth a visit just to see the place, especially when super cold or hot out. Liberal's (REI folk) might find some of the stuff amusing (the premium gun collection and the huge safe assortment come to mind.) I'd give about 30 minutes to wander around. Longer if you actually want to shop or actually do some of the activities.
