Brings back memories of my custom/tailored leather jacket back in the day. Too bad they do not do repairs here, but had plenty of referrals on their community board. My daughter now wears my jacket, but she wants me to redo the inside liner. I also have been buying some nice leather belts at fairs, etc. Good to see a selection here. Most importantly, I only use brass buckles, and there is a very decent selection here. When I get more free time, I might pick up this hobby...? Leather crafts...? Leather kits...? Etc. Atmosphere - Huge location with a good selection. Restrooms are outside in the mall. Open 6 days a week from 9am to 5pm, closed Sundays. Yelp hours differ slightly. See picture or website. Service - They have leather classes here also, see picture or website. The classes seem very inexpensive! The team was okay, not super friendly or rude. But it might have been obvious that we were browsing. Like a kid in a candy store that is not allowed to have any... Price - Seemed reasonable. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1919 with your 108+ worldwide locations. We will be back!

Found this place walking down Lake Tahoe Blvd on a beautiful June night. My girlfriend saw a…read morepretty light sweater on the rack out in front of the store. It didn't have a price on it, so we went inside to ask for assistance. When we walked in, there was no one to be found. Neither employees or customers. We politely said "hello." Someone in a hidden corner of the store replied "what do you need?" We walked over to the corner of the store. Two elderly woman were there and looked at us as if we were interrupting their gossip-session. I asked the woman behind the counter how much the sweater was. She looked up in an extremely annoyed manner and stated "I don't know, I will have to look it up." This woman's tone and look were as if we were asking her to donate a kidney. I was immediately turned-off. I didn't care if the sweater was free, I wasn't going to do business with a place that treated their would-be customers like some kind of an annoyance. I told the grumpy woman "no thanks" and my girlfriend and I left. We both couldn't believe how poorly this place treated their customers. Especially when this place was deserted and could probably use all the business they can get. With so many retail businesses in the South Lake Tahoe, do yourself a favor and go to an establishment that will welcome you and your hard-earned money.

We were denied the locals discount because apparently we weren't local enough despite the fact that we too live on the lake. All sales are final which should make you think twice before making a purchase. My wife got absolutely no recommendations or advice for proper boot maintenance and when we got home we noticed that the leather was extremely dry. You have to wonder if the reason for the no return policy is that they are aware of the poor condition of some of their boots. With plenty of options offering good service in the surrounding area we won't be coming back anytime soon.

The new soles are fitted perfectly and will provide much better winter traction than the slick soles they came with. He also conditioned the leather so they shine like new and are protected from the elements. I was so impressed with his work that I brought him a second pair of black Cole Han shoes that I had thoroughly abused the soles of and the toes were scraped and ugly. Somehow Kevin was able to resole the shoe and put an amazing shine on the toe. While talking to him about my boots he recommended putting a protective sole on when a shoe/boot is new to preserve the leather sole. I just happened to have a new pair of boots in the mail, which I immediately took to Kevin for a sole. He once again did an amazing job, the traction sole looks like it came from the factory, and I won't be falling on my but every time the parking lot freezes over. I can't say enough about the quality of work done at a fair price and in a timely manner.
