This location offers a little bit of everything. From household items to luggage. From phone chargers to clothes. I have recently purchased many shirts for a great price. For example I paid $39 for a Polo Ralph Lauren polo shirt (which would have cost me more than $70 at other locations), $19 for a Calvin Klein polo and $13 for a linen short sleeve shirt (unknown brand) and $11 for a Puma baseball cap. For men you can also find belts, hats and other accessories. In addition there are backpacks, purses and a lot of things in the women section. The store isn't big so you might not find a lot of variety for some items, but it's definitely worth a visit. Home goods is next door and my wife loves it! read more

I loved the spring & summer bag collection!! Great bright colors such as green, orange, pink & purple. Many Kate spade, coach, & Michael kors bags available as well. Huge beauty department as well. I was asking about facial products (which for a guy is overwhelming. Not to mention the vast amount of brands and options) and she gave me some good recommendations while smiling and multitasking. One of the nicer TJ Maxx stores I have been in. They have a fairly good selection, and it's a large store.

I go to the TJ Max store in Bayonne NJ almost every week. I have found so many wonderful household items, and odd furniture pieces , shoes and clothes to name a few..Also, I have purchased many gifts and gift cards. It is my go to store for everything. I have been helped many times by Kathy Romano with whom I've come to rely on for about anything I need help with, she is an asset to the store, her patience and professionalism is just wonderful.. They're lazy. They don't want to do the job that's needed to be done. I'll never step foot in there again.

Customer service is lackluster (at best). More time and energy was spent on coming up with reasons they couldn't accommodate my request (check a nearby store to see if item was in stock -- so I could purchase 2) rather than just putting in the effort to get it done. One associate claimed she was trying to call a different store but kept telling her co-workers the phone "wasn't letting her dial out". She then disappeared without ever following up with me, or offering to resolve the issue. Hard to believe outgoing call capabilities were down during business hours and nothing was/ could be done about it. Guess it was just too much work. read more

I honestly feel like this is the worst spot to ever shop at. One of my main reasons for saying this is because they have brands that they sell there that are in other stores like American Eagle why you selling American Eagle products in your store if that's not what you supposed to sell in your store. They do have the deals on products that they are supposed to sell and their store like coach Michael Kors and things like that. Their lines are very long. They don't have a wide selection of bags that are not name brand. their clothes racks are neat in the sizing order but it's not convenient in a way of the way it's set up it's almost set up as if the whole store is on clearance which kind of makes it look disgusting. They have a whole lot of space that they can be used wisely but their layout is crappy. read more

Kiere (Idk if I spelled his name right) at the Tj Max is extremely nice and professional. He goes above and beyond every time I go there. Recently my mom went and said the dressing rooms were under construction and he made sure everyone was able to use the temporary dressing rooms at a different location in the stores. She said he was so positive about the situation even though it wasn't ideal with the construction and temp dressing room. Just nice to see some excellent customer service in Bayonne ! read more

Dear TJMaxx in Bayonne, NJ. Thank you for once again reminding me why I will not shop there ever again. Not only was your staff rude and unprofessional, but the assistant manager also lied to my face about calling customer service on our behalf. Also, thank you for calling my husband and myself liars and accusing us of forgery regarding our rewards certificates in front of our two young chuldren. If you had scanned them, instead of exclaiming that no one earns that much in rewards, you would have realized that they were authentic and not fakes. After all, each certificate is issued an original, unique number and won't scan if duplicated. Cannot stand this store I cursed out the manager for following me and the woman at the try on and jewelry depts think they are slick. I don't have to steal especially from some second hand overpriced junk hole in the wall. I no longer shop at tj maxx I'll get it first hand at Macy's because the ppl that work here are the ones who need to be watched I purchased a perfume set that was sealed by tj maxx but when I got it home the perfume was missing and only the lotion and shower gel was in the box .. So if tj maxx sealed it then they have some thieving employees but they watch the customers who make more in one paycheck then they make in an entire month. Smh hate this store. read more

Ahhh this is a mini Marshall's with the exception you can actually shop, yes its messy but, not nearly as bad. I have found some really good deals (I was tricked into going shopping with my aunt), so I figure can't beat her might as well join her, make my trip worth wild. Went yesterday 10/23/15 at this location at around 6:30 PM, While the staff on the cashier are very friendly the manager is not. She is so rude and mean. She yelled at my children for just looking at the toys. She did the same thing 6 months ago and this time, I have to do something about it. My second son was so scared and doesn't even want to see this place anymore. I asked the cashier for the manager to report the incident and describe the lady but she said 'She's actually the manager'. I hope whoever this unfriendly manager is reporting to will read this and take corrective action, read more

As far as shopping experiences go, there can't be any worse than this TJ Maxx location. The place itself is very, very small compared to other department stores. It doesn't feel like you're going to get what you want and as soon as you walk in it's a bit disappointing. Their entire offering is severely limited. There is a lack of variety in shoes to choose from, and they don't stock many sizes. There were barely any coats available when I was here. I wasn't specifically looking for one, but I noticed it because winter is coming. Again, this is most probably due to the size of the store and the stock rooms in the back. There was only one cashier at the time I was here. The woman a few places ahead of me in line wanted to return something and the cashier was just plain rude to her. She refused to take it back and wouldn't even scan it. I waited a few more minutes, but gave up when I realized it wasn't going anywhere anytime soon and there were still others ahead of me. The manager then came and an entire scene commenced. I didn't have the patience and returned my item to its place and left. Just one more cashier open would have solved this. Some manners and good personnel wouldn't hurt, either. If you're just looking for something quick, I guess this might be OK. Just pop in, grab an item and hope the cashier isn't busy and there isn't a long line. Otherwise, just stay away! read more

Do not shop at this store!!! I went to return a basket that I had purchased 4 days earlier. The manager refused to take back the item and accused me of reticketing the item and putting a new sticker on it with a higher price. ABSOLUTELY INSANE. The item was on clearance and the barcode matched my receipt and her response was I can refuse the right to take an item back. The women was delusional and has done this to numerous customers.
