I shopped here about 25 years ago. The store is massive. You will find housewares, crafts, expired…read moregroceries, hardware, etc. I wandered throughout the whole store. They get excess liquidation stuff from dollar tree, dollar general, Costco, etc. I found a few things. You need to really check expiration dates, to me anything from Dec 2022 should be OK in January 2023. Upstairs has furniture and pictures. Prints of Adam Thurman who has the quirky puzzles were $120. They had target field, us bank stadium, etc for $120. I saw a cool buffalo picture for $189. 4/5 stars as cashier was this older lady who sat down and wasn't friendly and did not say thank you after my purchase. They 10 key enter everything too, so super slow. Review 6 in 2023

Mrs. Carnivore and I embarked on an adventure, and accidentally tripped over this place. This was…read morea most fortunate occurrence, as it was the place I was trying to find to show her anyways. Gopher Bargain Center is part flea market, part unclaimed freight, part antique shop, part furniture store, and part complete randomness. Lawn mowers, fishing gear, bedroom sets, hot tub, flour, drain cleaner, cards, cookware, toaster ovens, Eggo waffles in strangely damaged boxes, a wrench big enough to undo the nut on the bolt that holds planet Earth together. These are merely the beginning of the delights found within this building. A trip inside will make you smile at the complete randomness of it all. Bathroom and kitchen fixtures, including the kitchen sink. You might, with enough imagination, be able to build and fully equip and furnish an entire house with the items in this store. That statement, though true at the writing of this review, may well change drastically as early as tomorrow. The Carnivore understands that there is an activity known as "scrapbooking," which he does not understand, but acknowledges the existence of. He is still stunned at the magnitude of items available at this establishment for this purpose. He figures that putting snips of things in a book pales in comparison to putting a steak in his belly, but to each, his own. There are curious smells in various parts of the store, too. some food-like, some solvent-like, some of completely unknown origins. All kidding aside, I promise you there is something here you want, or maybe even need. The entertainment value of wandering around and occasionally saying "What the hell?!?!" is worth a couple hours of your time. You just need to come here and walk around until you find it. As a side note, I believe in my heart that there are no more 75 watt incandescent light bulbs left in the store. I could, however, be wrong. Give it a try, but I would definitely be cautious about food items that are not obviously sealed, and even those, I would definitely wash the exterior of before opening. There are too many non-foods here to completely trust unsealed items.

As a facility I've heard great things about many artists, environment is cool to see. My experience…read morewith Jacob Weber wasn't ideal. He was hard to work with and exhibited very little patience. On two separate dates he didn't even remember his appointments with me for consultation and the actual tattoo appointment. During consultation he cared very little about my opinions and even added insult. He complained through all of my comments and about the tattoo itself even though he had all the information, he could've easily not done the tattoo. When I set up an appointment for a touch up based on his timeline the doors were locked and no one picked up the phone during regular hours. It seems like he only did my tattoo so he could nail my buddies larger piece as this was something we did together for his first tattoo. Personality aside, his character as a person needs work.

I've gotten two tattoos from this place. Both times were very pleasant and I enjoyed being there…read more It looks very cool on the end side and the art gallery is very neat. I've given it three stars because post tattoo experience has been poor and let me explain. My last tattoo was on my hand and a lot of ink came off during the healing part. I know this can happen and I was aware of it before hand. I was in contact with the artist and they said they could touch it up at no cost. But when it came time to schedule that appointment they ghosted me over 3 or 4 emails. Since this has gone on for over 6 months I'm forced to look for a different tattoo company. Or see if one of the other artist at cream city is more professional then this guy. I hope next time its better.
