Hom has it? A new mattress that will actually help you to sleep better? Hom has it. We've purchased a recliner, mattress, rug, and more from Hom over the years and have been fairly happy. The recliner didn't hold up to the use we gave it. That was disappointing. We've been happy with everything else. You'll find items here you want see elsewhere. They have a new bookshelf with a mist fireplace (it's a fireplace like light that shines on mist to make it look like you have a mini fireplace in your living room). Trust me, it's a lot cooler than I can describe. You just have to see it, okay? They have some beautiful pieces of furniture made from reclaimed wood. They have some awesome lamps. Did I mention the cookies? Who doesn't like cookies? While you're shopping, you can stop over to their little kitchen near the checkout, where you can sit down and have coffee, soda pop, or freshly baked sugar or chocolate chip or oatmeal raisin or toffee cookies. That alone should get you in the store. I've tried all the furniture stores in town. Hom is one of my favorites.

Also just before helping me he made a similar transaction with my sister so this comment was unexpected and unnecessary. Gopher Bargain Center is part flea market, part unclaimed freight, part antique shop, part furniture store, and part complete randomness. Lawn mowers, fishing gear, bedroom sets, hot tub, flour, drain cleaner, cards, cookware, toaster ovens, Eggo waffles in strangely damaged boxes, a wrench big enough to undo the nut on the bolt that holds planet Earth together. These are merely the beginning of the delights found within this building. A trip inside will make you smile at the complete randomness of it all. Bathroom and kitchen fixtures, including the kitchen sink. You might, with enough imagination, be able to build and fully equip and furnish an entire house with the items in this store. That statement, though true at the writing of this review, may well change drastically as early as tomorrow. The Carnivore understands that there is an activity known as "scrapbooking," which he does not understand, but acknowledges the existence of. He is still stunned at the magnitude of items available at this establishment for this purpose. He figures that putting snips of things in a book pales in comparison to putting a steak in his belly, but to each, his own. There are curious smells in various parts of the store, too. some food-like, some solvent-like, some of completely unknown origins. All kidding aside, I promise you there is something here you want, or maybe even need. The entertainment value of wandering around and occasionally saying "What the hell?!?!" is worth a couple hours of your time. You just need to come here and walk around until you find it. As a side note, I believe in my heart that there are no more 75 watt incandescent light bulbs left in the store. I could, however, be wrong. Give it a try, but I would definitely be cautious about food items that are not obviously sealed, and even those, I would definitely wash the exterior of before opening. We had two issues, the first resulted in sending the sofa back to the company, the second they are saying is our fault. We asked for help in repairing the issue and were referred to some outside vendors. Our previous sofa was also a Flexsteel, purchased from Furniture and Things in Coon Rapids. They in my opinion have much better customer service and take care of their customers.

And then allowed me with zero pressure to have fun looking over all the great selections of home furniture ,and loads of beautiful accessories. The great thing was the store policy ;If you purchase a large item ,they allow you plenty of time to arrange the transportation of it. I found the quality I am used to and the deeply discounted prices I love too. They have a plethora of great mattresses. Mostly top of the line ,finer brands like Sealy and Posturepedic. Most of the pillowtops were under $400.00 for the set! Thats super cheap..They all appeared new ,many still in plastic.I will definetly be going back soon. The merchindise clearly moves quickly, so be ready to make a decision! This visit I bought all great accessories. On Saturday March 9, 2019 my friend, service dog and I went into Furniture Closeout Center to purchase a new table. Shortly after arriving I was approached by an extremely rude employee (possibly owner) who asked to see proper documentation that my dog was in fact a "real" service dog. My dog had his vest on (which by The American's with Disabilities Act does not require) and was doing the job he was trained to do. He wasn't unruly in anyway but I was told that there would be people in his store that would have "a very big problem" that he was in the store. This man continued to question me and make me feel very uncomfortable. I was embarrassed and hurt by this man's lack of respect. If it was my money that was being spent then I would have spent it elsewhere. I will never recommend this business to anyone and will never step foot in it again.
