The staff is friendly, and the service is excellent. There's one table for outdoor seating, but it's just enough to enjoy whatever you order and maybe meet some friendly people while you're there. My go-to dish is El Pastelazo hope I spelled that right. It comes loaded with three different styles of shrimp, fish, and octopus, along with both green and black spicy sauces. This place is the closest I've found to true Mazatlán-style Mexican seafood.

This food truck is on the corner of the street so it's easy to see. Parking is not bad, there's about 15-20 parking spaces in the back corner behind the truck plus street parking around the block. It's usually empty during the day but not sure how busy nighttime could get. If you go in the day they don't always have their condiments and sides laid out and are provided in baggies for easier takeout (they didn't have radishes yet). My go to order is a vampiro and three tacos. The vampiro always takes a while to make, but the cheese is always melted nicely.

Let me start off by saying the taste of the food is Amazing but my rating is based on everything…read moreelse, which is why I rated what I did. We booked them for my daughter's 5th birthday party. We paid over $1,000 for a party size of 60 people. When we asked if the food was ready because they didn't inform us that it was, the first 10 or so people grabbed their food, they said they ran out of the tortillas needed for the big UCE burrito, mind you this is the main reason we booked them because they're known for this burrito. When I went to get a burrito, that's when I was made aware they had already ran out of the tortillas, this was about 15 to 20 mins into serving time. My husband wasn't happy to hear this so he took it upon himself to go and buy more tortillas in order to make more of these burritos. (They didn't even offer to reimburse him for the inconvenience of this) To top it all off, BJ, the owner, came off really rude and stand offish, while one of his sons was nice and would answer any questions we had even when the questions were directed towards BJ. (who didn't even turn around to acknowledge whomever was speaking to him) Then at the end of the service, they packed everything up and left it on a table inside where the party was being held and didn't let anyone know that they were done and leaving. It's a shame because we really enjoyed their food from past experiences which led us to book them for our event, but we won't be doing it again.

This was at a church and across from CSUDH. A general place to grab and go. Feels: The area we were at is cool It was near a church and a university sooo good vibes. It's well contained and packed with flavors. I'd recommend this for first-timers. My partner and I shared...we still have leftovers! CUSTOMER SERVICE: Super! Friendly people and communicative as well. They were making more rice and keeping me posted on the wait. TL; DR OVERALL: 4.5 Stars. Excellent! Delicious food and reasonable prices. This is a South Bay gem and something worth trying. I wish this business the best as I hope to try more of their dishes in the future. Tips: * Follow them on IG for accurate dates and locations.

We ordered the chicken burrito and omg it was so delicious and full of flavor. They really packed the burrito with all the fixings and the chicken was fresh and juicy. The second thing we ordered weee tacos. I got 1 chicken, 1 asada (steak), and 1 Al pastor (their signature taco). All the tacos were delicious, but the Al Pastor was hands down my favorite - I'd go back just for that meat speciality (might even go back tonight for it). We also ordered the steak (asada) quesadilla. My goodness they don't mess around - they use a really big flour tortilla and pack it with fresh cheese and loads of meat. They don't skimp on the meat. It was so good, I wanted to save it to have seconds the next day. For drinks, we ordered the Horchata which I must say was delicious and homemade. You could tell it wasn't the powdered/artificial horchata. This one was truly made from scratch the way every horchata should be made. Did I mention they make their taco tortillas fresh by hand on-site? Definitely excited we found this hidden gem in the Southbay. They have outdoor seating to the right if you're looking to sit and grab a quick bite. Everything was a 5 start experience including the salsas and sides they had on the side. I almost forgot, they include cebollitas and nopales for free with any order (most places charge or don't even offer it). This was a win in our book. Check them out soon!
