The only down fall to this park is there is no bathroom but overall it's a fun park to visit for sure! There are benches and nice grassy area to hang or have a snack.

I always like how easy it is to organize any group hangouts or meetups here because the towers have identifiable numbers to know where to walk towards. There's plenty of fire pits around but I know some people like to pretty much reserve one by coming here early in the day. I had a lot of fun watching the sunset here and roasting hotdogs and smores by the fire. I think the sand here is pretty smooth mainly, but I wouldn't trust running around barefoot because a lot of families and groups come by here with stuff. You can definitely risk stepping on something. I didn't check if the bathrooms were open the last time I was here since we stayed around for about only a couple of hours. The trailhead is technically listed on Jefferson, which confused me at first. But there's lots of parking at the Sports Park on the corner of Lincoln Blvd and Bluff Creek Dr. From there, you just walk across the street, and there's an unmarked entrance right on Lincoln. The walk itself is interesting in a way I didn't expect. You're right next to the highway, so you can see and hear cars the whole time, but it's still surprisingly calming. It feels like nature just existing alongside the city instead of trying to escape it. I didn't see a single other person while I was there. Just a lot of birds, open space, and a few benches that feel made for sitting and thinking about life in LA for a minute. Lol I've lived here my whole life and somehow never came out here before. It's definitely not some big dramatic hike, but it's peaceful, a little quirky, and dworth visiting at least once.

Parking wasn't too bad, as they had several lots. We parked at Admiralty and surprisingly, there were plenty of spaces. There are only a few shaded areas with picnic tables, so majority of the people had picnic blankets and lawn chairs. Though there were a lot of people, there was still plenty of room to walk around, which I appreciated. The only thing I didn't like was that they closed the restrooms at the usual time, even though the concert didn't start until 7PM. So before the concert even started, we were left with either using the port-a potty or walking all the way to Trader Joe's. If you're wanting to attend one of their events, it's advisable to come early, but if coming here on a regular day, I think it's a perfect place to take in the views, and walk around.
