Security Finance has horrible customer service! They also had to settle a $5,000,000 lawsuit…read morepertaining to illegal practices. I wish I had known that before using this service. Apparently they have not learned how to properly treat customers from having to pay out their previous settlement and continue to violate norms. I called to make arrangements for a late payment after they had REPEATEDLY called me for being one day late, which their agreement states customers can be up to 5 days late on payment. When I spoke to them about making a late payment the staff was incredibly rude to me, demanded I find a way to pay them that same day and stated that they would not hold the debt and would come to my workplace to collect payment & made some pretty weird thinly veiled threat to the effect of "and whatever happens to you happens to you." Dealing with them has honestly been like dealing with the mob. I will continue to make payments until the $400 loan is paid off but I am considering taking legal action against Security Finance after that. Do not do business with them! They are terrible people! Go through your bank or a more reputable loan provider than Security Finance or you will regret it! Also this company sends out live checks as well they can easily be stolen and cashed at a bank or deposited into any account temporarily so there's a huge privacy risk there.

From the time I received the pre-approval until I applied, both my income and Credit score had improved. Regardless, I was completely denied for any loan. I also recognized that shortly afterwards I seemed to receive a great deal of spam emails. I can't prove it was from Advance Financial but it was clearly suspicious. Of course applying for a loan from them negatively effected my credit. I would advise to not consider this company for any financial services. They clearly appear to have anterior motives.
