First of all! Lee is a great guy. Was always friendly and I believe we had a good working…read morerelationship. Was the 3rd year in a row we did our taxes with Lee. I dropped all my paperwork off in a timely manner, around mid- February 2022. I had not heard anything for a while so I sent an email to see what the status is and if he is in need of maybe more documentation. Nothing, a week later again an email. Nothing . Then a call , then another call , left messages.. and so on. Went to his office and asked a desk clerk if they had heard form Lee. I was kind of worried that something had happened to him. I fully understand that tax season is busy, but you need to keep your client in the loop. Tax day comes and goes!!!!! I , thank god, had a relative who I called and asked what I can do and he filed an extension for me. NONE had been filed!!!! Finally I received an email from Lee about a week after tax due date. He is sorry, he was really sick. Mmmm, I totally get it , one can get sick and fall behind , than send out an email to all affected , and say there is a delay and extensions will be filed ( they are free btw) . You just can't let your client hang like that. As much as I like Lee as a person, I can't go back and risk a potential missed deadline again.

Security Finance is not worth your time and treats its customers horribly…read more I have been a customer for a year, and the customer service decline has been steady, but has reached a new low today. I originated my loan with a manager who no longer works there, and since she's been gone, I have been given the round around and misinformation from the existing employees. I was asked by Gracie on Wednesday to renew my loan, and Gracie advised that the office would be open until 5pm on Friday and until 4pm on Saturday due to the holiday (they are normally closed on the weekends). Gracie told me to bring a most recent bill in order to renew my loan. I agreed. I called on Friday to make an appointment and spoke to Richard. Richard told me I didn't need an appointment, but needed additional paperwork to renew (that Gracie never told me I needed). I told Richard that I needed time to get my paperwork together. Richard reminded me that the office closed at 5pm on Friday and at 4pm on Saturday, I gathered my paperwork and arrived at the office at 11:50 am on Saturday. My nephew, who was with me, came to the front door while I gathered my paperwork to come inside. My nephew reported that there were people inside, and all 3 people looked up and acknowledged his existence. When I got out of my car, the same 3 people were locking the front door. I asked them if they were closed, and they said yes, we close at noon. When I asked them that again since I spoke to 2 different employees who told me that they were open until 4pm, a man identified himself as Richard, said he spoke to me and that he was leaving at noon. I asked him why did he leave when he saw me drive up before noon and saw my nephew peek in the window before noon. Richard had no explanation. The other 2 ladies that were with Richard said "whoever you talked to was wrong" and "our computers are off" and walked off. I explained that I'm an existing customer and asked for any type of customer service and one lady said "I'm not doing this in a parking lot" and walked away. I was embarrassed and angry that I was told wrong information, felt discriminated against and lied to, and experienced that the employees didn't' care to give me any type of service. During my time as a customer, Security Finance employees repeatedly asked me to refer other people to them. I can clearly say DO NOT EVER USE SECURITY FINANCE UNLESS YOU WANT HORRIBLE SERVICE AND TO BE TREATED AS IF YOU DON'T EXIST!!
