So I'd give this place a ZERO STAR Review, but Yelp doesn't allow for a ZERO Star Review. This is…read moremy second branch I e been to and both experiences were fairly different. I went to the first one at 5815 Gulf Fwy Suite B360, Houston, TX and was approved for a 10K loan but was not aware that some of the documents were necessary for approving the loan were not received. I had to travel back to Hawaii and was not aware that my ID was not properly uploaded into their documents and that even though Sylvia took a photo of my ID on her iPad, and I uploaded a photo into their portal as additional information requested. Long story short, I wasn't notified in enough time that my photo came out "blurry" and by the time I spoke to this branch and tried to submit the documents, the loan kicked out and gave me a declined notice. Keep in mind, I was already approved for 10K and was just missing my photo identification even though this branch took a photo of my identification at the branch. What also was upsetting was that every time I called this branch took speak with Sylvia, I kept getting the run around... and with the time difference between Hawaii and Texas, I was always missing her or she never returned my call, or their branch gave me some excuse that she left early or she wasn't there, which was frustrating. At the end of the day, after going back and forth with the branch, I learned that the "system" kicked me out and auto declined my loan due to not uploading my ID in time. Mind you, Sylvia was hard to get a hold of during this entire process and while I was in Hawaii due to a family situation with my parents getting into a car accident. I am back here at this branch and wanted to try and give them another chance at applying for a loan. It's the holiday season and a loan would help out as far as Christmas shopping and staying ahead with our bills. I walk in and speak to Juana who takes my information. I also ask her about the Military SCRA department and she goes on to tell me that as long as she has been here with OneMain, they have never heard of offering a lower rate with being Active Duty Military. Her branch Manger chimed in and said that she's been with OneMain for 5 or so years and never heard of that. I begin to tell them that they may be misinformed because my husbands loan and the loan that I previously had was under a lower rate to due my husband serving as active duty. She (the branch manager) kept insisting that my information was incorrect. And we both eventually leave it alone after I stated that the current loan that my husband has and the previously paid off loan I had was under a lower military rate. She (Juana) asks for all the other information, like how Sylvia did and proceeded to tell me after all my documents were in that I was offered a 13K loan with a 27% interest rate, or somewhere around there. Mind you this was after everything was uploaded and we are sitting at one of the first desks as you enter this establishment . Juana then walks me to the back office to finalize everything. I was in the phone with the OneMain Financial Branch in San Antonio, as we have a loan out with them and are almost done with paying it off making a payment to the San Antonio Branch. And asked if they can provide me the Military Rate Department or their SCRA department and the San Antonio location was happy to give it to me @1-844-859-1878. Since I'm in the phone, Juana keeps walking back and forth from her front office desk to the room in the back where she put me in. Here I am thinking wow, great...I came in requesting for a 15K unsecured loan and they offer a 13 K loan. Not bad and could be worse, right!?!? So I walk out to inform Juana that I'm finally off the phone and she comes back into the room in the back where she brought me. She then proceeds to tell me that based on the information I provided, I was only able to get an unsecured loan amount for 4K. I didn't understand that after providing all the documents, the loan offer went from $13,000 to now only $4,000. I was flabbergasted to say the least!! And instinct was telling me to just decline and walk off, but they already made a HARD PULL on my credit l, so I decided to sit and hear out the terms of everything. So as she was going over the documents with me, she was a bit forceful and aggressive when I asked her why on the computer screen did it say that I was putting my car as collateral? She was like, I need toy to click this option to see the offers!! I was like ok - first you tell me 13K, now I'm down to only 4K and the PC screen shows that I'm putting my car down as collateral for a 19k secured loan? I'm now all sorts of confused. And instead of being pissed off with the 4K offer and just walking away, I decided to go ahead and take it, since they already made a hard pull on my credit (offering me an initial 13k when my credit was pulled (after receiving notification from my credit
