I've shopped in this store a couple of times. Before Title Nine ever came to Denver, I'd started receiving their catalogs via mail for a few years. I'd never ordered, but like Lindsey K, liked the name. The first time I ever came into this store, which was a couple of years ago, I had great service as one of the salespersons helped me find a good sports bra. As a girl with girls, a good sports bra is needed to hold the girls down (or locked and loaded as I like to say!). I recall purchasing my first Moving Comfort bra and a pair of yoga pants. While I didn't love the pants I purchased, I kept them. Title Nine has a great return policy that if you have the pants for a while and just don't like them, you can return them at any time, even if they've been worn, etc. I just decided to keep the pants I purchased. Now fast forward a couple of years. Still pretty active, actually even more so. I realized that most of my workout tops are racer back and I wanted some racer back bras as my Moving Comfort bras are regular straps. When looking for bras at a certain size and up seem almost impossible to find in a racer back. After looking at various bras online, it finally dawned on me when running across a Title Nine catalog to take a look at their website. I started to order some bras online to try them on at home and then thought, "Duh, they have a store." Went in last Friday and I was helped pretty quickly. My size still seems to be the unicorn in racer back bras, but I did find one style by Moving Comfort that fit. I ordered a second bra in the same style, different color and pullover lower impact bra in racer back style as well. I was very happy with the service and their selection in store was pretty good. Not as great as the catalog, of course, but still pretty good. What I realized too, is that Title Nine is "the store" for sports bras, especially if you are a full-figured size and need more coverage. Not a lot of places carry good sports bras with support and coverage and hold the girls down. If you're running, you don't want boobs flapping on your chest, which hurts. Disappointed and Misleading Sizing Claims I was so excited to find a swimwear brand that claims to be made for "big boobs and short torsos" and "designed for all boob-kind." Their marketing really builds up the idea that they're inclusive and supportive of different body types--especially those of us who struggle to find swimwear that actually fits a larger bust. But after looking at their size range, I was honestly shocked. Their sizing only goes up to a D cup. A D cup is not considered large for many of us with fuller chests--it's a pretty standard size. So how exactly is this "coverage, support, and styles that keep up with big boobs" if you're excluding the very people you're claiming to support? It feels misleading and honestly a bit performative. If you're going to market yourself as inclusive and for "all boob-kind," then back it up with sizing that actually reflects that. There's a huge community of people who wear DD, DDD, E, F and beyond who are constantly left out of the conversation--and it's frustrating to see yet another brand jump on the body-positive messaging without actually following through. Title Nine had been one of my favorite clothing stores for years. I frequently shop online as I live outside of Denver. If I'm coming into town I'll stop in for a return and/or to shop, as I did this Saturday morning. The policies for in store returns are strange and don't promote good customer service. They'll no longer give you a receipt and they won't give you back your shipping receipt. Today, this was coupled with a rude staff person who snapped her responses in a very brusque manner. She could not have been more unwelcoming. This wasn't even the person officially helping by me, she just kept interjecting at one point telling me "I could leave". The person helping me was quiet and neutral. Neither person was friendly or gave me the impression they were glad to have a customer. I might have shopped more but not with that attitude. Maybe the person is having a bad day. But she doesn't need to snap at customers. There was literally no one else in the store. This was an experience that made me question if I should continue spending good money at Title Nine. Difficult returns & rude staff are a bad combo. Do better. read more

Terrible sizing claims and mediocre quality - depends on the brand. This was a brand I wanted to love - true sports gear for female athletes! Hurrah! - but it's really just a curated collection. Some brands are great like Toad & Co., but mostly the advertising is hype and it's just the same old same old. If you order online, beware! I ordered shorts and the website clearly instructed that the shorts run large and to order a size down, so I did. The shorts were teeny weeny and I am normally a 0/2 so these must have been a 00 or 000. They definitely didn't run large. Worse, the fabric quality was terrible. They looked like tough cotton cord but arrived see-through, thin, paper-like cotton. The customer service online was absolute crap and they don't give you return labels and double charge you for shipping. So, you basically end up paying to return sub-par items that you wouldn't have gotten but for misleading instructions on Title Nine's website. At least at the store, you can check size and quality, but there are so many other options. The slick advertising is their only star. read more

T9 has gone downhill so fast lately. Their customer service is snotty and unhelpful all the time. They expect you to pay full price without any discounts and will not do anything to make you want to come back as a customer. The quality of their products have seriously gone downhill. I have bought so many things from them and within a year seams are loosening, threads are coming undone. The quality is just not what it used to be. Their return policy is the worst! God forbid the size doesn't fit or you don't like it! The return will end up god knows where while you wait for a "possible?" credit and I believe they are scamming on their returns because you have to pay for the returns, they won't take them back at the store, and good luck talking to customer service, they have no idea where your return is and can't locate your account. It's too bad they used to be really good and now for some reason they've gotten really greedy and shitty. This is a scam. Reported them to the BBB, as well as FTC. Changed my bank account info as well. They ripped me off for $150. Ordered a dress on backorder, only to have them change the date to 2 months in the future after I ordered it. They still charged my card. I called this morning to cancel the order and couldn't get through. Got an email response that seemed automated and had 0 to do with my issues (I wanted to cancel the order and get my $ back). Had to call my bank to get the money replaced. And still am unsure what is going to happen here... I will not stop until this place is shut down. You don't rip me off and get away with it. read more

I ordered a very cute jumpsuit two weeks before I needed it and it never came. I finally got in touch with someone and they told me they sent to the wrong address. My favorite store in Cherry Creek with clothes that are cute, stylish, very simple with sustainable fabrics. This isn't a store for kids, its expensive, but the service is great. This was experience today: despite an empty store, the employee was annoyed that I didn't know exactly what I wanted and expressed no interest in trying to help me figure it out. The service in this store is absolutely abysmal, which is a shame because they have some cute clothes. I was in there twice this month, first to buy a few items and get a couple items ordered from the catalog (free shipping), and then again to return a couple items from the catalog. The first time there were two people working. They were so slow in talking to me and they didn't have an understanding what basic customer service is. I like these pants, but you don't have my size - could you check online to see if they're in stock in this color and could be shipped? You'd have thought I was asking them to calculate a challenging math problem. Eyes glazed over and as few words as possible were used to communicate. So gloomy. Amazing outdoor and yoga gear for almost as much as I make at work in one day. The location is great, right smack in downtown, but not right on annoying 16th street mall. They have a lot of information on women athletics to get involved in around Denver, so this is a great place to stop into if you are new to the area, looking to meet new women through sports, or looking to get more active. The clothes are great and well made, but way overpriced and just not quite cute enough for me to want to spend the hefty price. I am more likely to spend that same dough at Lulu Lemon, where the clothes can double as sexy sporty street clothes and make your bum look rough and tuff... After looking for a swim suit at department and sporting goods stores and Target, found a great selection at Title Nine. They are for women who actually expect to get in the water, and don't want to be waterlogged with a ton of padding in the bust area. Yet they are more fashionable than the typical "Speedo". The sales people at this store were super helpful with finding a different sizes of a dress from other stores out of state and having them shipped directly to my home. Good sale prices at end of season (30% off sale price started several weeks earlier in store than on website). Also, very generous return policy. I wrote a review for a mediocre product and there was an "error". I don't trust them to publish all reviews. Samba V-neck: I bought this to replace the same shirt I had from a couple years ago. A few changes have been made. There is more of a scoop at the bottom front and back which I don't think is flattering. The material is a bit different which may be a good thing. The stripes are thinner which is ok but I think I liked the pattern better before. Quite an expensive shirt for a mediocre review but it's hard to get clothes during a pandemic so I'll hang on to them. The first time I ordered this I neglected to change the automatic shipping address. I contacted them immediately but had to file a complaint with my credit card company. They shipped the items, couldn't return them, and didn't respond as promptly to my problem. Terrible customer service during the pandemic. Absolute horror show to deal with. Placed order on May 6th 2020. On May 6th they hit the credit card for payment. On May 28th, the claim order shipped with an estimated delivery date of June 4th. We are now 35 days from the estimated delivery date and no delivery, Attempted multiple call and e-mail to the company with no response. They claim that during the COVID Crisis they are behind in responding to the customer yet they are well staffed to take the customer's money the day the product was ordered. Put in a complaint to the Better Business Bureau who notified them of the complaint on June 28th. No response to the complaint either. Do not place an order with this company. It appears that they are only looking for donations rather than selling a product. read more

Great specifc store location and SERIOUSLY great company overall!!! Here's why: I bought a pair of pants at the Title 9 in Dever while there on a ski trip in March. In August, I called the store to tell them of a defect that developed on the pants. They gave me the main company number so I could get another pair (since I love the pants) but told me that they would also take the pants back at the specific store for a refund! ...no questions! THEN, I called the company. It was super convenient bc they pulled up my purchase on their computer. Then, not only did they have NO problem with sending me a new pair, but they shipped out the new pair along with a paid return label and a "sorry for the trouble" letter and a $5 gift card for the inconvenience THAT DAY!!!!!!! Great experience! I am a complete idiot when it comes to buying bras and, in truth, I only ever buy from Title Nine over the net. I thought it would be a good experience to actually step into their store after almost a decade of enjoying their bras for various work-out and even every day support. They measured me AND found me the correct sizes AND variations to fit my lifestyle. Both staff members were extremely helpful and I NEEDED it. Going from ordering online to actual in-store shopping was a learning experience. One of the things I learned is that I can call the store and have them waive shipping if I see something in the catalog I like. Score! Title Nine has the BEST support bras I've found anywhere and, while I cannot comment on their clothing line, I believe their product to be worth the extra expense because it is quality and holds up with constant wear within an active lifestyle. read more

My favorite part about Title 9 is the name. This is the actual wording of Title 9, the inspiration for the name behind the store. "No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance..." We have come a long way, girls! And so has our clothing. Title 9 provides fun, functional clothing for active women who participate in a myriad of sports, or who dress like they do. They make their own brand, but carry other venerable names such as Patagonia, Keen, Horny Toad and prAna, to name a few. I first became acquainted with them via catalog and was quickly a customer. I found their service to be impecable and their products well-made. Fast forward 10 years and a move to Denver. I was ecstatic to find out we had a Title 9 store here where I could actually -gasp- go in and try on the 14 pairs of pants instead of guessing which ones would fit me best. My initial excitement was tempered when I went into the store and found their inventory to be a bit lackluster compared to what the catalog offers. Even more dishertening was the mediocre customer service. I expected a girl power, "Hell yeah we're here to help you find clothes that make you roarrr." vibe and ended up having to seek out assistance on multiple visits. The staff is not unfriendly, just not engaging or particularly helpful. As for other Yelper's complaints on pricing, I think they are quite reasonable for the quality and the expected cost per wear. I know they do stand behind their products, though I believe it would be uncommon to have to return something. I'll continue to be a customer, but Denver has many other places where one can find most the same brands and have a better shopping experience. P.S. This is where women-with-dollars go to get their athletic wear. So it's obviously upscale -- everything is on a hanger. Even the sports bras! The only thing that caught my eye in here were a pair of lime-green Mary Jane tennis shoes that would be so cute with a mini-skirt and a pair of tights. I wanted to check out their other shoes, but they don't have a shoe section here. I saw a lone pair of Patagonia flip flops but that's the only footwear that I saw. They, like the lime-green MJ's, were perched on top of a clothing display. Boo. Everything that I touched feels wonderful and I'm sure that it's suitably warm or cool depending on what you need. I'm just pouting cause I really wanted to see more shoes. And I don't have the money to buy from a place that's got sports bras on hangers. read more

I do really like their clothes, although as a woman of larger size, it's somewhat difficult to find things that fit me in the chest. Things are well constructed and very appealing, fabrics are beautiful and feel great. I work with kids and am fairly active, but not a hard-core person like their customer-models, so maybe they aren't trying to reach me with their products--the size, it's a problem. Shipping is expensive, but so is shipping from anywhere else, really, unless you get a special deal. One thing about them that I LOVE, though--the underwear. This store had some very nice clothing for the athletic and outdoorsy woman. It was a bit on the expensive side, but if you've got the cash, you can find some very nice things. I wouldn't say that it would be the place I would go to find some clothes to wear to the gym, but if I was going to be doing some outdoor-type activities, they have a selection of clothing that would be suitable for most people. Love the clothes but customer service leaves a little to be desired. If you love the clothing, wait (a really long time) and they will have a sale. But you need to go into the store physically, have them find the out-of-stock clothes in the warehouse or another location and then they will ship all the clothes you'd like for a flat $4.95 rate to your home. But don't buy them online because they gouge you with shipping fees! And they are unwilling to honor the $4.95 shipping that you can get by going to the store. I guess they'd rather lose the sale than make a ton of money off of shipping which is what it amounts to when it arrives in a plastic bag - no serious mailing costs here! read more

Went here last Saturday, right before the start of the Broncos game, so it was pretty dead. There were two associates there and my husband and I were the only customers in the store. Although we were greeted, we were otherwise completely ignored, even as we spoke about locating a particular item. We went to sale rack and I found a sweater I liked but it didn't have a reduced price tag, so I asked about it. The sales person said, "Oh, that shouldn't be there. It's not on sale. I don't know who did that." No apology, so thanks, nothing. There were several of these types of sweaters on the sales rack, so I know it wasn't another customer who put them all there. Anyway, I finally found the item I came for but they were out of my size in every color. So, I asked if what they had out was all that they had. "Yeah," was the response. Ultimately, I ordered the item online and then wrote a note to corporate about my experience. The corporate office was very nice and responded immediately. I don't really ask to be treated like a queen when I go to buy something but being acknowledged and treated like a human being would be nice...I hope this location trains the attitude out of their staff-- or maybe they were just having an off night? read more
