What's more, Jay (and all the guys) treat their clients - young and old - with so much respect, greeting even my 11yo son by shaking his hand and giving eye contact (a REALLY big deal in a world with kids who are anxious about talking with adults). It's more than a haircut; it's a community of (mostly) men providing life lessons in respect to the next generation under the guise of a haircut. The prices are higher than I would normally pay, but every aspect of the experience is WORTH IT.

In my opinion, they are extra kind to take on kids, and I hope it amounts to good business and money for them. I would still go if I didn't have a kid, because there is still enough of a good barbershop vibe there, even if there's a kid in one of the chairs. That being said, this is a good barbershop for a calm child who is comfortable getting their haircut without a tablet in their hand. They'll listen to you, give you the haircut you want, and it's a very comfortable place to hang out.
