Seriously, save your money. The first thing you do here is wait in a queue. Then you go into a "movie room" where someone inevitably blocks your view for the 7ish minute video that basically says "Titanic was big and tragic". Nothing new or interesting. From there you're in a constant stream of rooms with too many guests at a time, not to mention kids who are so bored and restless-rightfully so, there's nothing but things to read and fake artifacts. By far the worst part in my opinion, was the audio tour. It didn't line up with the plaques and didn't tell a cohesive story, plus it was $ extra and it was literally just a QR code to a page with audio clips. No transcript or anything. This is a money grab and it does not feel like the creators care about the titanic, or the visitors, at all.

At the end you can see all the passengers aboard and see if they lived or dyed.

My mom really wanted to go so I took her. She loved looking at all the displays - mainly postcards/papers/brochures and white star line dishes (not from the actual Titanic). My mom will go to any Titanic exhibit, so if you're that type of person too, enjoy! You will love this museum. One really cool thing they do is give you a passenger card and you can find out at the end of the museum if your person lived or dead that tragic date. A little morbid, but I think this fascinates people; Just like the unsinkable ship at the bottom of the ocean. One downside was the cost - $25pp is a bit of a fee!

The hands on experience in the playrooms was my children's favorite, as it made the history we read about come alive. My kids are 2, 6, and 9. The play areas are definitely designed more for the 5-6 and under crowd, but we all had fun. All my children loved the walk through mine experience and the model train exhibit. We just had to ask a staff member to turn it on, and the kids were thrilled! As a family we spent about an hour there, it could have been longer if my little ones had more stamina. The staff had organized a cute scavenger hunt activity which was lots of fun!

Did you know that the city of South Jordan gets some crazy wind? In fact, the Gale Center Museum…read morewas named after the gale force winds that the city encounters. That was one of the many bites of trivia that I learned on my most recent visit to the museum. This museum has a modest amount of historical artifacts on display-done in a creative way that resembles your grandma's house. There are also some interactive exhibits where kids can play with the food in the grocery store, dress up in the small house or walk through a coal mine cave. It's really well done and is a nice place to poke your creativity. There's no fee to enter the museum and there's plenty of parking. Make it a day and bring the kids for some fun!

This place is seriously SO COOL! We visited for the first time and had an absolute blast. There is…read moreso much to explore, and it's incredibly well set up for little kids. Our guy is 20 months old and had the best time running around and discovering everything. He especially loved the little make-believe town and playing with all the different interactive elements but the water tables were the clear favorite! He could've stayed there forever. Such a fun, engaging experience for kids and parents alike. We can't wait to go back and explore even more next time! PS they supply aprons and water boots in the water table room! Super convenient. I suggest bringing a change of clothes or some PJS to change your little one into in case they get soaked!

We are new to Utah and have had a Thanksgiving Point membership since December. My husband and…read moredaughter have been to the museum during spring break and loved it but before but today this was my first time bringing my daughter. Within 5 minutes I was ready to go home! The amount of unruly older aged kids running amok pushing and shoving younger kids to play hide & seek was absolutely obnoxious!!! Throwing legos and plastic balls throughout the museum without anyone stopping them parents or staff was totally uncalled for and now I know why barely anything works here. I'm thankful I didn't pay admission fees because I would be sorely disappointed in tear my money paid for. The reviews and photos online make this place out to be so much better than our experience today. The Children's museum downtown is, not only cleaner, it's more taken care of & supervised by staff way better than this museum. It's like adults dropped off their middle school kids and left them unsupervised.
