After renting from them two consecutive fall seasons, I recently called to reserve an air compressor for a month this third fall season. I made the reservation but got a call the next day stating they did not take reservations and that we needed to fill out a credit application. Our application was denied and I put in a call to the credit department to find out what alternatives we might have (co-signer, pay all monies up front) and never heard back. These people wasted my time and didn't even have the courtesy to return a call. Subsequently, I found a normal rental place that rented the same equipment without any problem or credit check-so good riddance to H-E rental. You 'cover your assed' yourself out of a loyal customer.

I wanted a lift that had been professionally serviced, not something from the auction or Craigslist. Jeff was super knowledgeable and had a number of used lifts availed for purchase at their location near Commerce City/Denver. I ended up choosing a Genie 1930. Tons of good tips! The core drill took about 30 min to cut through 9.5" of masonry (cinderblock over brick) and left a super clean hole. I returned it with no problems or additional fees. And I've worked in this industry in 5 different states. The owners are very cool and easy to work with. If they don't have it ... they'll get it and stock it for you.
