I can easily say this was the worst experience, both from the way I was treated as a customer (and frankly, as any decent human being should be treated), and the quality of work that we were left with.
I rarely post negative reviews (as evidenced by my Yelp "track record"); however, I was urged to do so by friends and family who saw the damage done to our property. They felt it was my duty to make others aware.
A corner was unnecessarily ripped and damaged beyond suitable repair for no reason (other than the fact that I'm fairly confident the contractor who did it was high). The company then tried to blame prior work that we had done. This claim is unfounded considering I have photo evidence of before and after, not to mention the estimate reflects a small amount of work, not this huge undertaking. This work was not authorized and has caused damage to our property.
Caulk work that was done is STILL not dry from last Wednesday so clearly the wrong product was used, underscoring the incompetence. I have video evidence of this as well. As the ripoff company they are, they tried to blame us multiple times for using the shower, even though I had multiple witnesses to us moving everything to the basement shower and using that.
Sand placed between patio tiles washed away in the first rain, leaving the patio in worse condition then when we started.
Contractor's van was leaking fluids which stained our driveway (I have before, during, and after photos), as more and more stains accumulated throughout the week work was done.
Water was left in "on" position, causing a flooding of our backyard. We do have a unreliable switch; however, use of this was not brought to my attention and the switch should have been returned to off (if it is off, water does not come out).
Owner acknowledged all of this in person, but now the company is threatening a mechanic lien on the property. Simply a shady way of doing business and ripping off customers!
Finally, because of damage done and cost to have work redone, we will be taking them to small claims court, which will take time away from priorities we have working full time and raising a family. I hope by posting this someone researching is able to avoid the mistake we made by hiring this company. read more
