Five star service and price at this Tires Plus location. My car desperately needed an oil change and I could not get in to any other place on such short notice. But Tires Plus on East Colonial we came in clutch. I was promptly greeted upon entering it's clean and bright inside. The attendant addressed my concerns and answered my questions. I love the upfront pricing. I was told about an hour-ish of wait time. So i decided to wait. Walked ovet to Dollar Tree and Dunkin. Came back to a cool waiting area. The wait was about another 40mins but I did not mind because they kept me informed. Efficient, not pushy service at a decent price. read more

I got my car serviced here a couple months ago but I'm still bothered by my service. I took my car in one cold day because 2 tires were low on air (which is normal when it gets cold suddenly) however 1 tire was way lower than the other. My step dad and I check the tire out. We slowly rolled the car forward to check for nails and then poured water on the tire to check for any bubbles. We very thoroughly checked for any nail or hole. Didn't find any so we aired up and my step dad recommended to still get it checked out and also fix an other issue I've been dealing with (rear strut and strut mount.) I brought it in about 30 mins before closing so they told me my car will spend the night and get serviced the next day. Cool. They call me the next day asking what was wrong because ALL my tires were GOOD. I re-explained I just wanted them to check for any holes on the tire and fix my noisy strut on the opposite side. They told me they had the parts and it was going to be $700. I said go ahead. I get a call at the end of the day saying they actually didn't have the parts and I'll have to wait for the parts to come. Kinda annoyed but ok fine. The next day again, they call and tell me the tire actually has a tiny leak and wasn't that big of a deal and they'll circle it. They said the car will be ready to pick up by the end of the day. I was at universal so I speed there and picked up my car about 10 mins before close. It was dark and they were closing so I didn't get the chance to look at the tire and I needed to drive my car to test if the noise from the strut was gone. When I pull into my neighborhood (only about 10 mins away) my tire pressure light came on. I park and get out and I hear a loud hissing noise, I literally thought it was a sprinkler or something. I walk around the car and I could feel the air wizzing out the side of my tire that my step dad and I water checked. There was a GIANT hole. There was no patching it up since it was on the outside of the tire. I knew 100% it was not there before and they even called me after my car sat all night long in the parking lot and they told me they were confused because all my tires were at the correct psi. I was very upset because I just paid $700 and they said that there was only a small leak and that it wasn't a big deal. I had the tire taken off and I brought it in and spoke to a manager. She told me that they already told me about it, I told her I knew it wasn't there before because my step dad and I thoroughly checked the outside of the tire and they even called me after my car sat in their parking lot overnight and told me they didn't see nothing wrong with my car. She argued a bit with me and then told me she can give me a small discount on a new tire. I got $10 off. She told me they would have to put holes in 100 tires to make money off of it.... She didn't say they would never do that though. My thought is that it's literally called tires plus. Obviously they are making money off tires. Why would they have to sell 100 to make money? Doesn't make sense. I paid $700 for the service I asked for. Why wouldn't they wanna add $100 more by making a hole in the tire? When they gave me the wheel back my rim was scraped to hell. There was already a small scrape when I bought the car but about half the rim came back scraped. I was just over it and left. They are cheap but do shady business. I was happy with the service for my strut but I know for sure they put that hole in my tire and made me buy a new one. read more

I would give it zero stars if I could. Don't bring your car here. We dropped off our vehicle for an appointment, and were given an ETA of "45 minutes to 1 hour". After 2 hours pass, we call the store to get a status update and are told "another 20 minutes, just wrapping things up." After ANOTHER HOUR, we decide to head over, and discover that the vehicle was never even brought into the service bay. We were lied to for 3 hours. If you can't trust their word, don't trust them with your car. Definitely stay away from this incompetent mess. Terribly ran and a complete dumpster fire of a location. read more

Still Zero Stars. I dropped my car off on Thursday, April 24th, expecting a routine service--but what I got was a frustrating, drawn-out mess. First red flag: the service report had the wrong VIN number. I called the store manager, Joe, the following Tuesday to report it. After I picked up the car, I noticed issues with the oil level sensor. My mom had to take the car back just to get the oil level sensor corrected. She returned saying it was fixed, but it wasn't. She doesn't know how to check it herself so I have to check it. Then my brother took my car back again and confronted the team about everything that had gone wrong. Despite dropping the car off on Thursday and picking it back up Friday morning, my oil wasn't actually changed until the following Monday, April 28th. Joe, the owner, issued a full refund on Thursday, May 1st, and I received a printed receipt--I'm still waiting for the funds to hit my bank. But here's what really matters: at no point did Joe acknowledge any of the issues I raised. No genuine apology, just 'sorry', no explanation--just a refund. That tells me everything I need to know about how this place is run. If management won't stand behind quality or accountability, what hope is there for good service? I brought my vehicle--a well-maintained 2012 Nissan Rogue with only 62,000 miles--to this location after hearing some noise and wanting to make sure everything was in good shape. Tires Plus gave me a detailed estimate totaling over $1,600, recommending replacement of both lower front control arms, an ignition coil, and alignment recalibration. I was concerned and decided to seek a second opinion. To my complete shock, the independent mechanic I visited afterward told me that NONE of the work Tires Plus recommended was necessary. All my car actually needed was a routine transmission tune-up. The suspension, control arms, and ignition coil were all in proper working order. I can't help but wonder how many others have agreed to expensive repairs here without questioning them. I'm grateful I trusted my gut and got a second opinion. If you're considering taking your vehicle here, please be cautious and consider a second opinion before agreeing to any major repairs. read more

Engine mount replacement. Long time customer (WAS) I have a problem with their labor pricing. Quoted for $313.50 for 2 hours of labor. However, it took 50 minutes from drop off to receiving call stating work is complete. I complained about this and their answer is "well that's what the computer puts it at and if we can do it quicker we will". Ok are you telling me that you dont care that your over billing or that your mechanic worked at double the speed of the average mechanic's speed? I have no problem paying $150/hr but ur not lawyers billing an hour for a 5 minute phone call... OR ARE YOU? To me this is price hiking!!! read more

DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE WORK ON YOUR CAR. They will damage and break parts on your car then lie about the damage they directly caused due to poor inexperienced workmanship. In addition they will lie to pacify you saying they ordered the part they broke. Then after weeks go by and you never receive the part they revert back to lying saying it was your fault. They also have several individuals who work together creating a false scheme to make it look like they are resolving the problem they created. Contact names they use: Andrew, Steven, Gregory and Nels They broke the center caps on my wheels told me they were ordering them then after a few weeks went by I had to contact them again and they lied saying the center caps were no longer available. I came at 3:30 pm to get a repair on a flat tire which btw it was just a small hole; and even though there was room for my car in the installation and there were like 4 or 3 technician working they didn't receive my car because they wasn't able to do it, because of the time but this place it's supposed to close at 5 pm and Im pretty sure that In 30 minutes at most they could've fix it. plus they charge like 32 $ which is not the best value still it's a free market and I'm free to decide if I want to pay for they're services or not. I just pointing this out because is not even the best price they're "professionalism" should match those prices but the reality it's to see an annoying situation because they had a window of time of 1 hour and 30 minutes and having that gap to do the job they still didnt want it to do it and I'm saying this because I heard the person from the front desk asking them who wanted to do or not the job anyways I really hope the ownership could see that some of they're employees wanted to do whatever they want. and off course this one was the first time and last time that I visit this business. read more

I took my car to have two tires replaced at one of the Tires Plus locations in Orlando, Florida. After the work was completed the mechanic advised me to replace the battery or I will risk getting stuck. Since the battery was still under warranty I decided to take it to have it replaced but the car stopped running on my way to the Auto parts store so I called a tow truck and the car didn't start even with a new battery and new starter. I never had any issues with the car before I came to this place, what the heck did they do to my car? So far I have spent more than $300 to have it fixed, the customer service department hasn't been any help either so I am planning to take the case to the Better Business Bureau if I don't get a response. read more

My first trip there was for the alignment and the tire. The second visit was for the alternator and belt. A lot less than another company that I won't mention and the mechanics are professional are real mechanics, not kids. The price was good (still expensine, but it's an alternator) and the people were nice and not rude (like the other place I went to). Also, they has a nice waiting area and a water machine and it was close to Sprouts so I could go get snacks. This is the one in Apopka. In a nice neighborhood. read more

I've been a customer here for years, and they used to be outstanding. I scheduled a 9 am tire rotation/wheel alignment and was told it would be 60 to 90 minutes (still long, but manageable). After over THREE hours in an unheated waiting area with no hot beverages in sight, my car was finally ready. The service guy blamed it on equipment?! They literally wasted half my Saturday for tire rotation/alignment! My husband had this same experience more than once. This is not the way to retain customers, I promise you. Actually called beforehand to let them know just wanted an oil change , no need to do their business model of looking/inspecting over car to come back and tell you it needs thousands of dollars worth of repairs. Mind you car never leaked a drop of anything in the 25 years we have iowned it. Since said simple oil change it now gushes coolant and oil? Do not trust this location. Either incompetent or corrupt.. Came to the store to get a tire patched. I told the person at the counter that I plugged it and he told me it couldn't be patched because the plug gunked up the area where the patch would go. I am sure that they were just being lazy because a patch job doesn't make them a good profit. I have had tires patched before that had been plugged. This is an honest auto repair place. I had previously had the rear brakes on my car replaced at the dealership and they told me I would have to have the front brakes changes during the next oil change. I have actually gone more than three oil changes and finally decided to bring it in to have the front brakes replaced totally planning on spending $400 to $500 for the service. RSheed (at the desk) was great and checked me in right away...I actually didn't have an appointment and it was already after i pm on a Sunday. He said they could get it done. Imagine my surprise (and pleasure) when the store supervisor called me and said I still had a good bit of brake lining remaining and that the repair was not necessary. I have used this location (14508 East Colonial Dr., Orlando) before to fix flat tires. I will be using them for my other repairs now. Well done! read more

This place is full of amazing people. After trying to fill our tires at the station next door the air pump was broken and left us super low in one tire. This was a huge problem as we weren't sure where to go to resolve the problem. I saw the Tire Plus sign and I headed over. Inside I inquired if I could fill my tire. The gentleman behind the counter got someone to check the pressure in all the tires and get them up to pressure. The best part they didn't charge for this service. read more

I like the fact that the car can have its tires rotated every few thousand miles as part of the tire package. Tires are an investment so why not make them last longer? I came here and got all 4 tires changed on my car. The price was fair, and they did a good job. I left the car there all day so I can't speak to the timing as it was my choice. The have a good selection of different grades of tires. I give 4 stars because of this. When I called to get pricing they gave me a price and it was pretty good. Quoted a mid level tire. When I got there and was at the register, many fees were added and they automatically added the extended coverage. The final price was about $200 more than what we talked about earlier in the week. I ended up having to go with the lower level tires and they did extend a discount to make up for it. The end result was fair, but they should tell you about the added fees and charges ahead of time, just so you can know what to expect. read more

I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone, I just had my brakes changed and as I got home I noticed them grinding, I looked at the paper and apparently a computer error led to the shop changing my front brakes as opposed to the rear brakes. When I noticed the error I called the shop, they told me to come right in, they replaced the rear brakes at no charge...... not even labor.... all within a couple hours. Came in on a whim to see if they could help me, as I managed to bend up and drag the oil cover piece underneath my car (thank you to the flying debris on the 408- pretty sure it was a laptop of all things that mangled my car and luckily not my windshield), and while they were able to take it off, the piece was too damaged to bend back into place. The front desk guy was nice enough to contact Honda to see what it would cost to replace, and gave me some options. I was not charged for their assistance, which I thought was cool. Now that I live on this side of town I am sure I will be back for other car-related issues (or the next time something flies at my car on the 408). read more

I went for maintenance at a sister store (Firestone) and on my way home I noticed my "check engine" light was on. I had no time to return to firestone but I called them to see if it was safe for me to drive my car. They directed me to this tires plus to have them "pull a code." I asked how long that would take he said just a few minutes. So I stopped by tires plus, and was told it would take an hour to get anyone to help me. As I walked up to the front there where a bunch of guys in the shop in a huddle talking. They were still there on my way out! Not a few minutes to spare for a customer who's car they broke? I made it very clear they were losing a customer. They didn't care. I guess they cared just as much as their sister store when they let my car leave broken.
