Tyler was patient and trying to make it work for me, but since I was frustrated I didn't want to hear him out. Honest business goes a long way with me and it's unfortunate that I cannot say this place is honest. I came in to get my AC inspected because it randomly went out. I paid almost $70 for the inspection only for them to try to get over on me with the quote. I was quoted over $1400 to have AC lines replaced (2) and recharged. I went and got a second opinion from a local, community owned auto shop who did a thorough inspection, even checking for leaks with a black light to determine that it actually was only one line that needed to replaced, not two like Tires Plus said. I appreciate Glover Auto Service for being honest- they could've tried to get over in me like Tires Plus did but was honest and ONLY did the work that was needed- replaced the line, recharged and replaced my engine mount which was causing the metal on metal rub. My A/C was immediately repaired and back up to 100% function for a fair and HONEST price. MORAL OF THE STORY: GET A SECOND OPINION. read more

Good morning guys. I really hate having to take time out of my busy schedule t I write this. I went to the Tires Plus to get my fog light and head light replaced. When I went in, I was told that I had to pay a $10 fee in order for the mechanics to check to see if it was okay to replace the lights and to rule out other underlying issues that eould make replacing the lights obsolete. I hope i am saying this correctly. I sat there for nearly five hours. Finally, i was told to come up front to pay. I didn't think anything was wrong and I trusted these people. I paid $200 and went on my merry way. As soon as I hit the corner to use my right turn signal, the light indicator was still flashing fast. So, i got out to check and, sure enough; my fog light was dark. I called Tires Plus immediately and was told to come and they would fix it. When I went in, the Manager told me that I had an "electrical problem" and that i would have to take my car to the dealership. My question to him was why did I pay for the inspection and why nobody told me this before taking my $200 if they knew they couldn't fix it. The manager told me that they only check inside the immediate part. Whatever that means. These people took $200 from me knowing very well they couldn't fix it issue. I was shitted on by these people and they are just going on with business as usual. I cannot stand by and let this happen. They charged me $ 210.32 for the lifetime alignment. I took my car to Ford and was told the control arm is broken. Now wouldn't they have seen this when they did the alignment and said i needed the camber/caster kit? Ford says yes! I came on Thursday, Dec.29 to the Tire Plus Care on Thornton Road in Lithia Springs, GA. My tire was ordered and I was told to come back on Saturday because they had to order my tire. I came back on Saturday at 8am for my appointment. I arrived at 8:05am It's 9:25am and my truck is still not being repaired. Actually, no customer that was here at 8am has yet to have their tire service completed. The price to replace the tire has increased by @ $65 since last year. Because of those prices, I couldn't afford to get 3 tires, just 1. I asked them to rotate my front tires until I could replace them. They would not rotate them because the tread was too low, creating a safety issue. They stated it was company policy. I was offered no discount or incentive to help reduce costs. My truck was ready at 9:33. So it took 1 hour 30 minutes to replace 1 tire. They spent more time talking to me about replacing other tires and trying to get me to replace my battery. I would have preferred to have the front tires rotated and a discount offered if I wanted to get my 2 other tires here. They also charged me $27 for a tire warranty I didn't ask for. They charged that without asking. Now, I have to drive back to Tire Plus so the can refund it to my card. This is very poor business practices! I discussed this with manager. He stared the charged was managerial process not a company policy. Tire Plus, you can do better. Hire more techs and provide incentives for customers who can't afford to buy 2 or 4 new tires at one time. Effectively Monitor your locations for good business practices. Service here is extremely slow. Employees are generally friendly. Corporate needs to do better. read more

I came to get some info& an explanation of why my car have no oil at all, especially when i haven't reach the milage due amount as yet. The employee on site, told me some absurd information & didn't even bother to check my car, instead he went Off on me & my brother, started to yell at me and my brother.an employee To make the story short, this employee in question was careless , disrespectful, have a HORRENDOUS customer service & very lucky that my boyfriend wasn't with me, when he started to yell at me, telling me to GET the HELL OUT, arguing with me, like we was on a Jerry Springer show. He refused to provide his name & I wish a manager were available, but he wasn't. I will take action to the highest level possible. I called Corporate & demanded a disciplinary action for this employee, an Apology & a compensation. I doubt that I will come back here or to any Tire Plus locations. read more

So I know Tires Plus arent well known for the highest of service standards, but this place is even terrible by Tires Plus standards. The staff here are slow and just dont care at all. I was in for an alignment and some new tires. Although they do have competitive prices for tires and will honor the price match, thats where the good news ends. They will do everything they can, including outright lying, to sell unecessary parts and services. They will measure your rotors and tell you that the resurface will be JUST enough to hit the replacement point, no matter what it is. If your rotors have .05, they will tell you they need to shave off .05, if its .03 they will say they need to trim .03. If that werent bad enough, they will charge you $90 for a cheap off brand Duralast rotor you can get at autozone for $30. Uneccessary services and price gouging 3 times the cost of a part is really no way to do business. Same goes for brakes. A $25 ceramic pad will cost you $75. And this is just for the parts, labor is even more. They dont take pride in what they do and if you get an alignment here they dont bother to straighten your steering wheel, so even though your tires are going straight, you have to hold the wheel at 11 and 3 instead of standard 10 and 2. They also lie about alignment packages saying a one year alignment is just a "one time" alignment, to make you buy the 3 year instead, eventhough it clearly says on the website that the standard alignment has a 1 year warranty. It's bad enough that the prices are so high, and they lie to upsell you and "load the ticket" but you would expect prompt and good service for paying so much more, which you dont get. They will leave the desk unattended with a long line of waiting customers and not bother to answer the phone. The building is very dirty, old and the walls are falling apart. If they cant handle basic upkeep of their building, how do you think they treat your car? They are on a very busy stretch of Thornton road, so they will still get business even with price gouging and crap service, so it will only get worse here. To top it all off, they have no problems wasting customers time. If you have a 30 minute service job, expect 2 hours. If you have a 2 hour job, plan for 5, thats if you can get in. I waited with four other customers until 7:45 when the shop is supposed to close at 7. Tires plus says on it's website if your car isnt ready on time, you get 10% off. No one was offered this. Most were there for basic oil change and tire rotations and waited 2 hours or more. They forgot to put the center cap on a lady's SUV and luckily she spotted it before driving away. I could go on. Moral of the story, only go here if you have an appointment and need tires and can wait 3 hours. Do not go here for any other reason. You can get brakes and rotors for much much less elsewhere. Their tire prices are the only thing that is reasonable here and they will price match local offers. The good thing about buying tires here is that they will balance and rotate your tires for free at any Tires Plus in the country as long as you own them. Buy the tires here if you have to, but get them balanced and rotated at another Tires Plus locaton. They dont tell you this up front, but you can also refuse the "road hazard protection" which will save you $60. This is just free tire plugs, which are $15. You would have to run over a nail in all four tires to get your moneys worth on that. Only go here for the tires and JUST SAY NO to all upsells, which will surely be coming. They should really call this place Tires Minus. It's Tires, minus good service or decent prices on anything else car related. Most locations here in GA are pretty bad, but Thornton road is probably the worst. Avoid it if you can. read more

I visited Tires Plus yesterday because my front tire was going flat. I was hoping that I could just plug the tire and add air. Unfortunately, Ayana explained that the tread was too bad for their requirement to repair. I decided to purchase a new tire. The pricing was definetly steeper than I'm used too, but because my car is newer and I've been screwed before buying cheap used tires on my prior vehicle, I decided to go with the new Tires Plus tire. They had some sort of promotion going so Ayana was able to discount an oil change for me too. I decided to do both because I had already left work to handle this tire issue, to kill two birds with one stone. Ayana provided great customer service by throuroughly explaining my tire options and level-setting wait time etc. Overall my experience was not so bad. I was able to get work done too because of the free Wi-fi. I can't say I'm a fan because no one likes getting their car repaired, but Tires Plus is okay in my book. Staff went the extra step to check for warranty and actually found one to save me 50 bucks. I have never experienced this type of service any where including this store. I am only giving this place two stars because the wait wasn't bad , I was told in the beginning that the oil change would be $56 , I then added on windshield wiper blades and my total came out to be $78 . There was supposed to be a coupon added on for $18 off the original amount of the oil change but when I got ready to check out my total was $91. I called back just to clarify that the coupon was added and JUSTIN had the worst attitude. "Disappointed" apparently they can't fit a simple tire repair within an entire day. I showed up at 7:00am and they wanted me to leave my car. I told them I can wait 3 hours for it. The counter guy tried to look apologetic but it came across as pathetic. I have gotten good and honest work from this location, now I have to second guess if I want to have work done here in the future. I was even going to have my transmission fluid changed at the same time. If I was running this location I would rotate a mechanic to do quick tire repairs. The grand ole profit margin probably won't allow this. I went to a mom and pop tire shop and was able to get it in within an hour and half. I purchased tires from tires plus and was told anytime I need air to pull in front of one of the garage doors and a technician would check the tire pressure and add air if necessary. I went to tires plus this past Friday morning around 7:00 am and it was cold. I went to the same tires plus this morning around 7:00 am with the same issue and the manager told he would have to fill out a ticket and I would have to wait because he doesn't allow his technicians to check tire pressure (I'm assuming outside the garage) when it's that cold outside. However, they did it on Friday morning and it was just as cold. Bad customer service and I won't be giving them anymore of my business. The location I visited was the Tires Plus on Thornton Road in Lithia Springs, Ga. Don't worry about trying to accommodate me because I won't be going back. I left after his response and put air in my tire at a gas station. I have since gotten my tire repaired someplace else. read more

So I am always on the road and I go through some tires like they are growing on trees or something. I decided to buy a full set for my big SUV and I have to tell you guys that these men are the most Polite and Professional men that I have dealt with when getting my car serviced. I picked this place a year ago for a Wheel Alignment because I had very good experiences at the location in Jonesboro/Riverdale on Tara Blvd and Hwy 138. So I gave them a call again and although they don't have what I need they tell me they can order it. Well I don't know if it was shock from hearing nearly $1,000 or if my Metro PCS was just tripping but I hung up on them. But I called back and as soon as he heard my voice he knew it was me and told me that if I find these tires cheaper then they will match the price. I have called several locations looking for tires and NO Other place has been so kind, detailed or helpful with my specific needs. At these prices I may need to buy one tire at a time, but I am sure that I will get them from here. read more

The customer service at this location is outstanding, from the Sales Advisor to the Manager, although I didn't see him today. My first encounter with the manager was when I purchased tires. As a female, I needed his expertise and sympathetic soft-side when it came to explaining to me about my worn tires. I purchased tires all-around, and so glad that I did. Their customer service is horrible and They have an option to schedule and appointment online through their app and it's supposed to be pending approval and it says if the appointment is unavailable someone will contact you to reschedule. I made the appointment the app says it's scheduled and I leave work on two wheels to make it by my scheduled time . The app offered appointment times and it said 6:00 was available. I chose it and it said scheduled I flew from downtown and made it walked in and said I have a 6 Pm Appointment and "Jay " which I don't believe is real name with no name tag says we don't schedule 6 o'clock appointments and I showed him the APP and where it says scheduled and then he says we don't use it at all that bridge-stone we are Tires Plus ! I said it's your app your policy and you should honor it . Then he says you should call ahead because we don't have time to approve the appointments . I don't understand how you have an employee that can't understand and refuses to go by the the policy and procedures you set up and is totally unapologetic and not even trying to correct the error! read more

I went to Tires Plus for new brake pads. In addition to other repairs, Tires Plus showed me what they said was brake fluid leaking from a line above the gas tank. They quotes a price to fix and called me a few days later to say the repair was complete. I paid and picked up the vehicle. I decided to crawl under the truck to see the work. What I found is that they hadn't replaced the line at all. They were obviously trying to run up the bill by charging for work they didn't do. read more

I will never, ever again take my car here again. My best friend referred me here after my car wouldn't start and the initial interaction with the shop was okay. What wasn't okay was my car cutting off on me after I had it back for a day and paid over $600 for the parts, labor and a diagnostic test. I had the car towed there again and after a few calls back and forth I was advise it would ready the next day (Friday). Wrong! After multiple phone calls, me walking to the shop after they kept promising my car would be ready over and over and over again, a call to corporate (which I am still waiting on my call back), my car was finally ready Monday morning. No apology for not fixing it the first time, or for the horrible customer service from that weekend. Not a refund for the failed diagnostic test, not even a free oil change. Brought my Rav4 in for an oil change. I was informed that there was a nail in the side wall of my tire that was un-repairable and that I would need to purchase a new tire for the price of around $300+. The tire was placed on order, and later that day I found the nail myself while at home. The nail was no where near the sidewall but rather in the middle of the tire tread. When I took the tire to another company for a second opinion I was informed that the nail had not even punctured the tire. It was a shard of a nail just hanging in the thick rubber. I went into Tires Plus to have a noise diagnosed on the front passenger side wheel. I was told that I needed struts. That was on Friday afternoon. On Saturday afternoon. On Saturday afternoon I was coming home from the grocery store around the corner from my home when I heard a loud bang and my car was on the ground and the right front wheel would not roll. I had to get my car towed home. When the tow truck driver put mu car up on the truck he noticed that my brake caliper had com completely of the brake. The problem was, when I took the car to Tires Plus it was misdiagnosed. I did not need struts, the caliper bolt had came out of the back of the caliper( which could only be seen if a person who was checking the car would have to stand up under it in order to see the bolt was missing. Since only a routine visual inspection was done, the problem was missed. To make a long story short, a ten dollar routine inspection (that was misdiagnosed) ended costing the co. (Tires PLus) in excess of $500. The accident destroyed my rim and tire. Tires Plus gave me a new tire ($180), the replacement cost of my rim ($380)as well as the cost of the tow ($45.). The best thing about this whole experience was they took care of my issue in a timely manner as well as with courtesy and respect and excellent customer service. read more
