My rental needed an oil change. The Manager from the Rockville location called & spoke to Kenny, who got me squared away before my arrival. As a walk-in, the wait was under an hour. The Waiting Area was clean with chairs spaced out with enough outlets conveniently accessible. There's one Unisex Restroom, a Vending Machine, a Water Fountain & Complimentary Hand Sanitizer. A comfortable environment to pass the time with pleasant hospitality & customer service.

I figured I could slip in and be responsible on my own and the team here made that happen. I never love getting out of my car and waiting for the maintenance to be done in those cold, oddly quiet waiting rooms. So when I realized I could avoid that here, I ran to make an appointment. I was in and out within 20 minutes, such a great experience. I had a really sweet woman greet me and work on my car, I love seeing women in auto care and appreciate her being so kind. I'll be back for my next oil change!

This was the worst oil change my household has experienced. The pictures say it all. They said the…read moreoil on my garage floor, as a result of LEAKS of fresh oil right after their oil change, wasn't their problem. We ended up having to go out there 3 times as it kept leaking intermittently. You pay $100 for an oil change and don't even get to drive it to get your money's worth before it's leaking fresh oil. The first time they "tightened the plug to stop the active leak"...a week later it's back, more oil stains. Go back out there AGAIN and even asked to file a claim and was REFUSED. They don't have any corporate overhead or even a protocol. This place is the most poorly run franchise of Take 5 that I've ever experienced in my life. The district manager admitted that he was a potential concern their parts and that my issue is with them (the manufacturer) and not the oil change itself...imagine saying that to a customer. Imagine a DISTRIBUTOR or manufacturer being the business of a RETAIL customer. That's not for us to handle, that's for your business to handle. File a recall or complain with your source and take care of your customers. Foolish and unprofessional. That's not the customer's responsibility. We trust you when we PAY you for the service. Source quality products and once you find there's an issue call your impacted customers proactively and have them come in to fix it. At minimum the oil change should've been refunded, for the damage, time, energy and gas it took to go up there over and over for what a few minutes in their lube bay caused, but James seemed oddly fixated with my complaint about oil on my garage floor instead of the fact that YOUR OIL CHANGE CAUSED A REOCCURRING LEAK. What if our engine locked up and the car was destroyed? Can you afford to be down a vehicle in your family? During these times? They didn't care one bit about putting our vehicle at risk or damaging our personal property as a result. I BEG you to take your car elsewhere. The technicians are kind, but this business does not take care of their customers or stand by the quality of their work. Read the lower reviews. We are not the only folks who've experienced this. Do you have the time to ply Russian roulette with your car? Express Oil Change, Calhoun's or Precision Auto tune in Austell if you don't mind waiting. Superior customer service and high quality work.

But I came across a car I was looking for at Thornton in Lithia Springs so I swallowed my pride and went in anyway. I cannot say how thrilled I was to meet the entire team. I have never been treated so. Well at ANY dealer ever . I purchased the vehicle and received a better deal than I had hoped for. I will be back again. I purchased a used Trailblazer in October and less than 5 days later the brakes failed while I was…read moredriving home on 20, going 70mph. I had to use the emergency brake to stop on the side of the road. The mechanic it was towed to said the brake line was completely rusted out and needed to be replaced. The manager at JT Chevrolet told me I bought the car 'as is' and they had no obligation to repair it. They called me back a little while later saying if I could get it towed there, they'd fix it as a gesture of goodwill. Fine, the brakes are still very soft, but I'm at least able to stop. Last month while changing the battery, I found that instead of a metal super connector, there was a literal piece of lamp cord that had been stripped on both ends. Additionally, I had to replace two tires due to slow leaks, the washer fluid reservoir is completely cracked, the belt was cracked and worn, and I had to replace the headlights. There is a oil pressure error on it now and it leaks slowly. I've probably spent more on it than its worth at this point. I would never recommend buying a used vehicle here. They clearly just washed it and threw it on the lot without opening the hood or checking under it, at all. These are things that even a Jiffy Lube would notice but apparently their service department cannot. If I could go back to October, I'd buy somewhere else. I just don't feel safe in the vehicle, but also don't feel comfortable selling it to someone else, because unlike John Thornton Chevrolet, I have principles.
