Tires plus is a chain tire store with multiple locations. This one is located in Kissimmee Florida near the Disney parks. We have some tire plus locations in Lousiville. So when my wife blew a tire in Georgia on the at down to Orlando we knew we had a reliable place when we seen a tire plus was within a few miles of our villa. Not only was the service available the workers really helped us in a pinch. Our daughter was in town to cheer for national championships at Disney. We needed a new tire and needed it done same day. Tire plus got us all Squared away in a matter of 2 hours tops with brand new tires. We went ahead and got all 4 replaced to avoid any more tread disasters on the at back to Lousiville. Stopped in for some new tires. The guy behind counter was quite helpful and made the process of getting new tires very easy. I had a general idea what I needed but he helped me pick the best ones for my car and my driving needs. This was during the pandemic, so I was pleased to see safety measures were in place, and it really did not take too long to get everything taken care of. The employees were very nice and understanding about our financial situation. As an ongoing customer, i see the unfairness done to some employees. Work is being delayed because others are not given a chance. As a mannager running the store, take control of the flow of the work before you have good working employees leave due to unfairness. Higher management show that you care and check on the work flow. Every since I've been taking my care to Tires Plus it's been one thing after another with my vehicle but I'm going to discuss the leak that was supposed to have been fixed on 10/28/24. Tires plus charged me $526.00 dollars for a supposing leak and heating system maintenance. Tires plus took advantage of me and I believe I am not the only women they have done this to. I never had a problem with my Buick because I take very good care of it and have been told by my previous mechanic the good condition it was in until I started taking it to Tires plus. The fact that I knew something wasn't right when I started having problems every couple of months and they were consistently recommending high price maintenance and neglecting things that really needed to be fixed. I was in danger riding the freeway daily I found this out by taking my vehicle to a reputable mechanic who informed me that my coolant was on empty and my lug nuts were close to falling off. This mechanic informed me that I will need to have the leak fixed but wait I thought that's what tires plus had done. I was shown by the mechanic where the leak was so that I knew what they were saying was true. read more

Had an appointment at 9am, needed to replace 4 tires. They only had 2 tires in stock so we had to wait for the other 2 to be shipped from their warehouse. Tina at the front desk was very nice and helpful. I was told it would be ready at 4pm (quite a while but they were fairly busy). I called at 4:30pm and was told it would be ready in 1.5 - 2 hours. Yikes. An hour passes, at 5:30pm they say it's ready. I get there around 6pm and see they are only just pulling the car out (I imagine they called be before it was actually ready, whatever) I pay for the tires + road hazard protection plan ($1K+) and come to find all 4 of my aftermarket wheels were damaged. Scratches along the outside edge. When confronting the person at the front counter, he said that can happen sometimes with the tire changing machine and that i could come back the next day to talk to the manager. I've had tires replaced on these wheels before and it was not an issue. Seems like the technician was careless at best. Pay a little more and go to a reputable shop. This place has positives and negatives. Let's start with the negative. It is always busy so it takes a while. This isn't necessarily a bad thing. The store has provided great service to my vehicles each time I came. They have been friendly and honest in my opinion. The partnership between firestone and tires plus is evident and the consistency is welcome. This store appears to be a trusted center in the community and will continue to get my business even though I pass several repair shops to get here. Made online appointment in the morning thinking everything is good to go. I show up for appointment in the afternoon and they have no record of appointment. I check my email at the store and find email that was sent about an hour after I made appointment stating that appointment will need to be rescheduled. I guess calling me telling me this before I wasted my trip out to the store was asking too much! read more

Be very careful when using the services of this place. They are not honest with customers, not to mention poor service, they invent things that their car does not have a problem with and they still charge for what they do not do. I do not recommend!! read more

UPDATE: I took 3 stars away, I went back to Tires PLUS to ask if I could have a letter from the mechanic so I could use it to to protect myself from the dealer whom was charging me for other items. The mechanic said yes that he was going to do it. But some woman at the front desk advised against it. This made me realize they are really not going to help me on my fight as she was worried about something, all I could figure out is maybe they did something wrong and were trying to cover it up and to protect themselves they backed away. So I put this update and still left the original review. Very disappointed they treated me this way and I will find a new mechanic. Original: Been coming here for years with an older vehicle. Always had decent service. Had a problem with my newer vehicle and dropped off right at closing. I waited the next day till 11 then called to find out what's going on. They we're looking at my vehicle at the moment. I decided to look online for recalls on my vehicle and found out there is an alternator recall. When I called them back to let them know about the recall, so they didn't have to further investigate the problem, they let me know if the major problems they were having and now the vehicle was dead. They understood the recall situation and were patient while waiting for a tow truck to come. They only charge for the diagnostic service which was cheaper than I expected and even helped get the vehicle on the tow truck. I was also given some friendly advice on what to let the dealer know needs to be checked since the alternator was burning and they wanted me to protect myself from further electrical headaches down the road. I've been coming here for years and it's always been great; but unfortunately I'm not coming back after this last visit. I went in for a simple oil change and a headlight fix, I paid and left, and all was well. Later on that day, my left front bumper was hanging off and I pushed it back in, thinking it was fine. The next day I was on the highway going to work and something was hitting against my tire. Something broke off and flew underneath my car while I was driving, I was terrified something had gone wrong. I went back to Tires Plus an hour later, and I was told that the mechanic who worked on my car the previous day had FORGOTTEN to put some screws/bolts back in once he finished working on my car, so the underneath part was coming off. Thankfully they fixed it for no charge, but I can't go back again if their mechanics are going to be negligent like that. Yes, it wasn't anything too bad, but what if it was? What if I left for work the next day, and I had gotten in an accident? Like I said in the beginning, every service I've had previously was fast and easy, and the service was always great. I've been to this location twice and have received 5 star service. On my most recent visit to this location I arrived via tow truck at 6:54 p.m. Rather than leave me stranded, Saul and Nick replaced my two rear tires in 20 minutes. I was back on the road good as new! These guys did a great job and were really concerned about me getting home. Horrible service. I went there to have a tire replaced was told by manager it would take 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours to do. Waited 1 1/2 hours and after several people that came in after we did and left. I asked manager why had I not been waited on. He said he told me it would take 2 hours. He said he also told me he was taking appointments. He did not tell me any of this when I went in. I asked fo my keys and left. I then went to a car dealership which I should have done in the first place. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. HORRIBLE SERVICE. Was told that I had to replace my entire A/C unit because the pulley where the serpentine belt attaches had rusted up, causing my serpentine belt to seize, which caused my other accessories to fail. I have no doubt my serpentine belt froze, that part was true.. but my regular mechanic informed me that the outside of the A/C unit is cast aluminum and there's no way it rusted. Don't bother making an appointment. The front counter employee told me that appointments don't mean anything. Whoever walks in before you still gets serviced first. Had an 11:00 appointment for a simple oil change and they said it would be a two hour wait because the walk ins go first regardless of an appointment. As I walked into this place I was greeted and treated very well! They helped me and it was beyond great customer service. I went to this store in July 21, 2013, I only wanted a new set of tires and my AC Connected and Charged. I was told I needed a new tie rod, new lugs and new compressor. I purchased tires, warrantees, one new tie rod and all 20 lugs along with new wipers, had my AC Connected & Charged, I declined the new compressor (which was quoted $700+ for. I was NEVER SHOWN any of the parts that were replaced. Had to return 7/26 because vehicle wouldn't start, I was told I needed a New Alternator, so $500 later I had it replaced. As soon as I went to Leave, my Check Engine Light Came on! The Tech, Anthony, Placed it on the diagnostic machine, claimed to have ran it twice and found nothing. 5 Minutes later, my vehicle overheated! The Fan was NOT WORKING! I took it to another Tires Plus the following day, since I was on my way out of state. The Tires Plus in Ocala replaced the relay switch and fuse, (they put a "pig tail" on the fuse box, hard wiring the fan to where it stayed on all the time, they NEVER TOLD ME THEY DID THAT) by the time I got out of state, it was too late, my battery, fuse, relay switch, fan and fan motor along with the computer was fried in my vehicle. I am now in Louisiana, have been here since last Saturday. My vehicle has been at the Dealership since Wednesday and won't be repaired until Monday 8/12! Firestone is the corporate store for Tires Plus, they have been handling this issue and trying to get it fixed! Firestone has been great! Firestone has been paying for a hotel for my son and I. However, I'm Severely Angry with Tires Plus in Kissimmee and Ocala Florida. They knew I was moving out of state with a young child, had my 2 dogs and 1 cat, traveling across country alone. They lied to me about my compressor (it was fine, didn't need replacing. according to Firestone!) They had me replace one tie rod, when 2 were bad, I probably didn't even need the lugs, and the alternator, since the Manager in Kissimmee ADMITTED that he knew my battery was "marginal" and sold me the alternator job instead! WTH? That's just Grimey! They only wanted to replace my battery, since they admitted to failing to inform me about it. I'm angry with Ocala, for not informing me about hard wiring a pig tail that fried my electrical, fan and computer in my vehicle! I spent nearly 2000.00 in both stores! Was quoted and sold work that I didn't NEED! misinformed and lied to. Hopefully now that Corporate (Firestone) is Involved those responsible will be held accountable. I'm unsure that Tires Plus will do anything, since I called and filed a complaint with their Consumer Affairs Dept. NO ONE has called me back! I only received a complaint reference number. I called back a second time and was told I would have a Manager that will contact me, Didn't Happen! I am a Native Floridian, have lived in the Kissimmee area for 7+ years. I have referred people to Tires Plus, I was a repeat LOYAL Customer, and was lied to, ripped off and Mislead, all to make a dollar! It's Unscrupulous and Disrespectful what they did to me and my son. How would they feel if I was there mom, sister or wife, left stranded in the middle of the country??? What JERKS!!! It just makes me wonder how much money Tires Plus would have pushed me for, for unneeded repairs & parts if I had not gotten out of state and to a Firestone Corporate store that found their mistakes, shoddy work and lies! Very good team, good customer service, free wifi while you wait. I've had 2 cars get tires here and also have used them for an oil change. No complaints. Quick, efficient, friendly service, even on Sundays. Very helpful finding unusual sized tires and getting them in very quickly so I could get back on the road again. I haven't used them for other mechanical work (I saw Patricia's poor review), so I can't speak to that, but for tires and oil changes, excellent work. read more

Came in for an oil change. They told me I needed a new battery plus 3 tiny light bulbs (5 dolars each plus 18 dollars to install) at about $150.00 plus the oil change (36 dollars more). I left with just the oil change, hadf the battery checked, NOTHING WRONG WITH THE BATTERY, bought 4 light bulbs for 5 dollars and one minute to change them. RIP OFF!!! read more

Thank you God. Our prayers were answered with the work we needed done on the truck. Sue, Ken and Will at Tires Plus went above and beyond with our truck. The new alternator was not charging the new battery, they worked for hours at NO additional cost to solve the problem which ran from yesterday to today. They replaced the new alternator with a new, new alternator and that seems to have solved the communication problem with the brain. Then because they spent so much time running the truck off the battery to try and solve the problem, they put in a new, new battery. These guys are awesome!!! read more
