Recently went there to diagnose an issue with my car, and was suggested a new set of tires because mine were in need of replacement. Tires were mounted, and the initial issue was never addressed because their assumption was a new set of tires would fix it. Ended up going somewhere else in town to find out that my newly mounted tires were never balanced. My suggestion ? Go somewhere else for your needs unless you've got no other choice. read more

We weren't actual customers but got great service nonetheless. Our toy hauler lost a wheel and broke all the studs. We were parked at an RV shop hoping they could help us but they could not since they were so busy. One of your employees, an older gentleman (sorry, didn't get his name) saw our predicament and advised us on how to chain up our hub so as not to damage it further while driving to another shop to get help. I went here primarily to swap my summer with my winter tires prior to a trip to Canada. The tire swap went fine, but since I was about due for an oil change I decided to have them do that as well. Short story, I recommend you not use them for an oil change. The morning after the service there was a large oil puddle under my car in the garage and a trail of oil in the driveway and road outside the house. My car has never had an oil leak. I had to drive it back to the shop. The guy behind the counter (Ron?) had no personality. He didn't apologize or say anything, just handed the keys to another guy to fix it. Turns out they had not tightened the oil filter and I'd lost more than a quart of oil overnight. It's a good thing we had not left for our road trip as we could have burned out the engine! The manager, was nice. He apologized and took care of the bill, but I will definitely not take my car back there. read more

Asked for a quote for 4 tires. Gave tire size manufacturer of car and model. Received a "phone consultation" message back. NO quote. If you are going to have the option to ask for a quote, then provide a quote. If I had the time to call, I would never use a website or click on the "receive a quote" option. Misleading, false, and frustrating. I replied with tire size and asked for a quote. After 3hrs, I have not received a reply of any sort. Since I am forced to call-I will now call every other tire place in Missoula and you will be last on my list. read more

First come first served? Not here!! Needed winter studs taken off and summer tires mounted. Showed up before they opened to ensure I'd be first in line (and I was). Told the dude what I needed handed him my keys and sat in the waiting area. I did notice they were getting pretty busy pretty quickly - but I wasn't worried. I was first one to get worked on....right? WRONG! FREAKING HOUR AND A HALF LATER I'M STILL SITTING THERE! I got there early because I had an appointment later that morning and it was getting to the point where I was going to miss it. I finally went to the counter and told the dude "if the tires aren't off my car yet then I gotta go - I'm gonna be late". He stares at me with a blank expression and says "who ARE you?" Gave him my name and he goes back in the shop - comes out with my keys. It's done. Anybody's guess for how long. Starts to do my paperwork but stops half way through to take a phone call and chat it up right in front of me. Finally get to pay, grab my keys and dash out the door. 1. They were slow 2. They were rude 3. They were expensive. 4. Adding insult to injury....they stole my valve stem caps and I had to buy more. I'll never go back!!! If you were smart, you wouldn't even try. Hey I bought my tires at Tire Ramam. They were able to tell me I could bring the vehicle back and they would rotate the tires. No Kidding this is part of their service YET when you do come in they say it will be 1 and 1/2 hours to wait. (because this happens every time I am suspicious} Who is going to wait that long to get the work started. Casually you look around the shop and one guy is waiting. There doesn't appear to be people ordering new tires. And then the cheeky guy at the desk tells you they don't make appointments either. So maybe the only way to get this service is if you happen to work there and do your own car. I urge you to never use this service. read more

I went to pay for the tire and they didn't charge me. I always go to Tire Rama. They have better service than other places. I think they really good at what they do. Waited in line with about five others and no one acknowledged the line. A customer finally went into the back to find someone to work the front desk. I went in for an oil change, got the car back and none of the fluids etc. had been checked or topped off despite asking. This would result in 2 star review, but the car came back filthy on the inside! Dirt everywhere. All across the back seat, on the back of the drivers seat, on the passenger side, on the dash. When I needed to service my camper trailer axle I was referred to the MIssoula TR Truck center by the Pine Street Tire-Rama where i have been a customer for decades. I made an appointment but when I arrived they said I had none. They tried to say I was at the wrong store. I checked my phone log and determined it was the correct location. They were extremely rude and unhelpful implying that I made a mistake. When I asked if I left it with them whether they could check the brakes they said it would cost $200-300. They later called to say they had written my appt down on the wrong day and it was their mistake. I took my business to Les Schwab where they said they would check the brakes for free while servicing my trailer axle. read more

I wouldn't take a wheelbarrow to these clowns. After having my front driver side tire just come off and take off down the opposing side of the highway while my family was in the vehicle leaving us stranded on the side of the road I called them back up and they said I was lying and that I just wanted another free tire. Absolutely horrendous business ethics. I dropped my car off to get brakes, left it there all day and took time off work to catch rides from friends. After all that they said they couldn't put brakes on it because it was too rusty. If my wasted time wasn't bad enough that day, when I went to do the brakes myself one of the bolts on one brake was completely loose because they forgot to tighten it (very unsafe) and the other was completely stripped by them! It took me hours to cut it out of the tight space so I could do the brakes. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS FOR ANYTHING! I can't believe they would do that to a potential customer. Good thing I didn't have an accident. When the subject of autos comes up I tell everyone not to use them and am writing reviews wherever I can find to warn the public. Missoula's too small of town to screw people. I hope they go out of business to keep the ethics in this community higher. read more

A few friends and I were road tripping from Seattle, Washington when we were burdened with a nail in our tire. We called multiple places in Missoula and Tire-Rama was the only place that took us in immediately, and they were fast and efficient. Since I have been in Missoula, MT, I have NOT been satisfied with LS's service - too much waiting, too expensive. Fantastic quick help when we pulled in pulling our camper. They found the hole, patched it, and got it back on in what felt like just minutes! They proceeded to check the air in the spare before putting it back and then checked the air in the rest of our tires before sending us on our way to finish our camping trip! read more

This was bad from the beginning I had my front end redone with a mechanic in town then he took my truck to the tire Rama on Broadway by the autozone. I believe that skip is the manager. They did the alignment on it about a week later my fairly new tires were showing signs of really bad alignment wear so I took it back to them and they admitted that the alignment was out but also that one of my lower ball joints was going bad. So they quickly blamed it on the ball joint. So I questioned them about why they had aligned it in the first place in which they told me that they hadn't checked it the first time. They did not work with me on some tires mine are completely shot. And it's been very difficult to afford new tires and a ball joint. Absolutely not worth going here they will screw you then blame their mistakes on you. Avoid at all cost I'm out over 2,000 in repairs because of their alignment thanks for reading I hope I helped you make a good decision. read more

Adequate. I had to have my tires replaced following an emergency on I90. And the tires got replaced. But one of my hubcaps popped off 20 miles up the highway, so they obviously messed up replacing the hubcap. They offered no apology or compensation for the hubcap when I called them. read more
