Was in here a few weeks ago. Make sure you check the prices they're charging you. Often they are inflated vs what you would see online. This place is categorically more expensive than every other major tire place... the staff is nice enough at least. The purchase of Tire Kingdom by Mavis has resulted in the quintessential private equity pump and dump. It's sad. Only the investors win. The customers always lose. I've used this location for years. Cliffton and staff treat me with respect and are curtous every time I am there. They have helped with emergency services, such as nails or screws and either plugged or replaced tires as needed. They always take the time to show me and explained why they thought I should make the repair they suggested. I would recommend this location to friends and family. read more

Was told front struts and control arms needed replaced. $200 is the cost of arms, $300 cost of struts. 4 hours of labor should be plenty of time to complete this... so, at $175 an hour, that should be a grand total of $1200? I was quoted $3200!!! They worked some "magic" and got it down to $2300... super sketchy.... so you were about to rob me of $900? I took it to another place and they said all I needed was my struts replaced... cost me $800 at the other mechanic, and my car drives like a dream now. I'll leave my opinions out of this review. These are just the facts. Beware these corporate mechanics... they always upsell and are always a ripoff. I go to the brewery often behind this location and one day needed my oil changed a few months back. It was later in the day that Saturday afternoon and I met Cliffton; who was working behind the counter at Tire Kingdom. I've met many mechanics in the past and Cliffton definitely was honest and very helpful to me. Wasn't trying to sell me on everything and kept it straight to the point. Since that experience, I have made the trek to Boynton from Boca to get my tires, oil changes, patches, and other car work. Cliffton and the staff has taken very good care of us. I do come early as to hopefully beat the rush. If not I call ahead and make an appointment. Car runs great and if I had a concern, the staff takes a look at my cat without making a hassle. I just had the most wonderful experience at this Tire Kingdom. At 5:40, I learned that my low tire pressure light came on. I filled my tires, called TK, and they said to come on over. Sure enough, there was a nail in my back left tire. They fixed it in 45 minutes and I was back on the road. Absolutely amazing. read more

I had to wait six hours to have them change the rotaries and my brake pads on the two front tires. and after I paid and left the shop, I drove a couple blocks away and the brakes failed. and I couldn't stop and I was swerving around. I was really scared and it was like rush-hour traffic. and I had to direct traffic to not run into the back of my truck while I was trying to get the tire kingdom shop manager on the phone. They kept putting me on hold, and then a police officer came by. She wanted to know what was going on and I showed her the receipt that I just had The brakes worked on and the brakes failed. and then I was told that they were faulty parts and that the mechanic put mismatched rotors and brake pads on the truck because the parts delivery guy gave them the incorrect brake parts twice that day. But the mechanic installed them in my truck anyways even though he knew they did not match up. so that the brake sensors could not communicate to both wheels. very dangerous. I thought I could have been hurt or worse. and when I was by the police officer, waiting for the shop to come to tow my truck, the mechanic jumped out of another car and came over and then proceeded to get in my driver side of my truck, without asking me if he could drive my truck. He told me to get in and I asked him to not move until I got my seatbelt on. He Drove my vehicle back to the shop screeching and sliding the car around because the car couldn't stop all the way there was afraid for my life. And at the red light, he made a left-hand turn on a red light in my car. And I said that's illegal and he said he had an excuse because it was an . I felt like I could've gotten killed then when he ran the red light, a car could've hit my passenger side. And then they had to hold my vehicle overnight to work the next day . It started on a Tuesday and I was on my way to work and found a screw in my tire. I drove to Tire Kingdom, knowing it was Thanksgiving week, but I was late for work. They took me in even though they were booked. It took about 15 min and I was out. Fast-forward to Friday and the same tire was leaking again. I went in thinking it was a faulty patch, but to my surprise he pointed to the tire and it was another screw. although it was not related to the previous screw, he honored their work at no charge. I have been a long time customer at this location, but that ended this morning. Went in for 4 tires and asked them to correct a small mistake they had made on a previous visit when they did an alignment. The guy at the counter couldn't authorize the correction and asked the store manager, who immediately copped an attitude. He was rude and obnoxious and refused to correct the mistake. I pointed out that I was a long term customer and was in with the intent of spending several hundred dollars. When I told him I was rethinking that purchase, he grabbed my key and held it up, implying I should take my business elsewhere. That's exactly what I did. it started with Moe's Auto Repair in back of Tire Kingdom For Moe's, if you read that review did a fantastic job for me to replace the passenger front knee after some idiot ran me off the road. After driving the car for about 2 days I noticed that it pulled slightly to the right. I called Moe and he said drive it a while and then get back to him. I did drive it and it did not get better. Moe said bring it in. But as I needed to NOT leave it there as I need it for work he arranged for Tire Kingdom who does his alignments for me to see Mac there with no appointment nor charge who took the car in. Mac after about 20 minutes brought me to his area for alignments and my car was up and hooked up to their impressive machinery/computers! Mac was able to show me it was NOT the front end that they did a fantastic job on that the the rear end was out possibly from that accident. I just want to say that Moe really went out of his way to help me get the answer to my problem along with Mac. There was no charge for them to verify they did a super job in the 1st place relieving me of my doubts it was the front end.... TIRE KINGDOM IS SUPER!!!! read more

Wasted two hours of my time on a few simple things: 1. oil change - didn't apply the discount until i pushed & didn't reset the oil reminder indicator on the car (a GM no less) 2. after saying they could change the wipers, said they couldn't because they were "special" - we are talking about a 2009 cadillac 3. said they couldn't reset the tire pressue monitoring system - really? this is a tire store 4. after i pushed, admitted they didn't do the safety inspection they advertise and build into pricing because the technician "didn't want to do it". read more

I went to tire kingdom 2 months ago.(congress Boynton)I paid five hundred dollars and change for 2 break pads, tire rotation, and break fluid change. I waited over 3 hours for the service. Then today I went to Jiffy Lube to get an oil change and the tech tells me I need break fluid. He showed me what new fluid looks like which was clear and mine was green. He showed me an instrument that shows the presence of water in the fluid meaning it's old. So now I'm back at Tire Kingdom and they said they're going to fix it. I have to wait for the "master" mechanic because he is on lunch. They never changed my fluid. read more

I had a flat tire and visited the store to have it repaired. I was told that they would not repair it and I needed to buy a new tire at a cost of almost $300 (the repair would have cost $44). The reason they gave was that the small damage caused by part of a razor blade was under foam inside the tire. Upon my examination of the tire inside it was clear that was not the case. I took the car to another tire store. That store saw no problem in repairing the tire, did so, and charged me $43. From this I concluded Tire Kingdom wasn't content with a $43 bill and tried to sell me a new tire to make more money. I suggest you not consider this Tire King location for your tire needs. read more

Scam Alert. I took my car to Tire Kingdom at 330 S. Congress for an oil change. Within 20 minutes got a call that I had an oil leek, and needed a gasket replaced $429. Also he said I needed 2 new rear tires and an alignment, also conveniently $429, plus a new air filter for $49 and I was quoted $85 for a synthetic oil change. I told them not to do anything as I know my rear tires are fine and my car is kept in my garage, so if there was an oil leek, I would have seen it. I go to pick up my car, and he said $110. I told him I was quoted $85, and he said OK and charged me $79. I took my car home and got underneath, zero oil leaking out and my rear tires are just fine. a Month ago my girlfriend took her car in and they said she needed new rear brakes, $400, and she did it. Makes me wonder how these guys scam people all the time. Make sure you get a second opinion, do not trust these guys. I bought a new air filter on Amazon for $12 and put it in myself. read more

They stripped three studs on front wheel and two on the back and this was on my sons car which he was 17 and told him that this was fine. That's when they told my son to go buy lug and fix it himself. Advance Auto said the wheel wasn't mounted right and to take it back and get them to fix it. When I was driving earlier and heard thump, thump, thump and it wouldn't stop, I knew it wasn't a good sign. I checked the tire pressure and sure enough one of the tires was losing air. After getting the donut put on, I decided to call this location and see when I could have the damaged tire patched up and put back on. The manager said I could come in at 7 tonight and it wouldn't be a problem at all since they close an hour later. I was greeted with a smile and I handed over my keys after the representative verified my information. He said it would be about 45 minutes for the service and I was welcome to have some coffee and watch some TV while waiting. The service was quick and the place was clean. They put the old tire back on and put the donut back where it came from. It was completed within an half hour and was fairly reasonable for the service. I told them they could keep the alley wrench that caused me to go there in the first place and they happily did. read more
