Recently just had brakes done. I'm not impressed with prices nor with type of service provided. The one who took care of my mother was very kind and polite but the fact that the price of pads that were offered were not the same as what was quoted on the sheets looking back were not the same. I recommend going somewhere else that's more affordable. They told her that rotors needed done as well as it had hot spots. The rotors are fine and so we had the brakes done only. Looking back, Will never allow her to come back here and I don't recommend anyone else going here. There is other places that offer better prices and don't change the offer on you same day to make prices higher. read more

I came here for a tire alignment. My car had ice on its roof from the recent snow. The employee that drove my car into the garage busted the ice off of my roof with his balled up fist before driving my car onto the alignment rack leaving a large palm dent and a smaller one on the other side of my sunroof. I did not notice it right away. Of course the Broad St location does not have cameras continently. The young man denied breaking the ice off of my roof. Those very obvious hammer fist dents just happened to show up today and exactly after my alignment. I am now stuck with funding repairs for damage this kid did to my car and no evidence to prove otherwise. I cannot describe how I feel today. I dropped by to see if they could put a front low beam headlight on the drivers side on my Cadillac SUV SRX. The manager who is not honest said he'd have to take the whole front bumper off to put in the light switch, which isn't true at all. He then said it would cost $489.00, + tax. Which totaled over $500.00, for a low beam light. That is a total rip off, the light is a $17.00, part.BTW the owners Manuel even said the front bumper doesn't come off to replace lights. I took it to a great mechanic name T at A1,in Whitehall and it cost $100.00. I will never go back. I recommend to not use this shop ever! read more

Went in at approximately 240 to get a TPMS put on a tire..was the only person in there. 2 cars pulled in to get plugs in their tires. At 4pm both of them were done and gone and I was still not taken care of. I watched several technicians standing around talking and not doing anything, and my tpms still isn't done. Took my truck in a few months ago because this is one of the locations that can handle bigger trucks and also has a road force balancer. The truck shook bc the tires were out of balance. She calls me a few hours later telling me my truck needs a transmission and that it's got something seriously wrong with it. I said did you balance the tires she said no we're not going to. Got them balanced at a competitors and no shake lol... train your employees, I've never worked in a shop and knew it was just tires out of balance. Then I took dump truck in with shit loads of issues but nobody said anything about that and just did the work I requested like they're supposed too. Then I call today to get an appointment to put new tires on and I get put on hold for 15 mins actually 15 mins just to finally be told there's no appointments till Friday. I used to use you guys for all alignment, tires, and suspension items but the locations around me lately have been very inexperienced employees with less than basic knowledge of tires and alignments. When I have to ask for a manager to balance my wheels bc your guys put clip on weights on a wheel where clip on weights aren't used. It just gets old you'd think you'd train ppl to be able to balance a tire but yall don't lol. read more

I had the traditional Oil. Filter. Tire Rotation. As they began filling the tires with air they noticed a damaged tire stem. They offerred a choice of replacing the stem+TPMS or stem alone (if possible). They were able to replace stem only saving me an additional 50 dollar parts cost. These guys are absolute pros. I went to Tire Discounters to have a flat fixed because I have the tire warranty. Was told the tire couldn't be fixed because the nail was too close to the sidewall. A tire was ordered and I went back the next day for the replacement. I was then driving on I-70 East and had a blow out. They had plugged the tire instead of replacing it. Charging me for a new tire and putting me in a very dangerous situation. They of course denied this saying I hit something but the hole was in the same exact spot I had seen the nail. AAA driver who came to rescue me also said tire was plugged. Two weeks later another tire went flat and I went back to the same location for repair. They said they repaired it but could not tell me what they got out of it. They dodged the question. Went out the next day to go to work and boom same tire flat. Called AAA again and another driver came out. He found the nail in it and plugged it for $15. He told me they hadn't even taken the tire off the car. They just sprayed sealant around the rim of the tire and it was all over my rim. I don't know if they are too busy and cannot handle all the work or because I'm a woman they can pull the wool over my eyes but you do not mess with someone's tires. Bought my set of tires here. Also upgraded to the roadside warranty. Caught a flat last year, and took it in. They patched it. Now I have a flat again. I believe it's the same tire. But I can't even get me in without dropping my car off for the entire day. What's the point of getting the warranty if you can't use it when you're in a pinch? Bogus! I'm starting to wonder if my tire should have just been replaced the last time?! It's most likely a scheme to get me pass the warranty date, so they don't have to replace the tire. Anyhow, I've gotten my last two sets from the place, but I won't be getting a third. They'll probably need replacing next year. Discount Tires next time, maybe? We'll see. read more

This was hands-down the best experience I've ever had at a repair shop. I got a tire here about a year ago, and discovered it was leaking air due to a nail. I took it to another shop downtown because it was close by, and ended up waiting over an hour just for a flat check and a quote for over $200. I made my way over to tire discounters, and I'm so glad I did. Not only did they replace my tire at a pro-rated cost (less than $50!), they literally met me at my door to help me carry in my newborn and get me taken care of right away. I went in and fully expected to pay for new brakes and rotors all around. They took me in without an appointment and were very kind and courteous! After looking at my car they called me up and told me that I didn't need brakes and rotors yet and also let me know about a few other maintenance problems that didn't need addressed right away but that I should keep an eye on. This is the first mechanic shop I have ever been to that didn't try and take me to the cleaners for any and everything that they could! Great store and great staff I definitely recommend! read more

Online booking is a waste of time. Can't blame the location for that. I set everything up online and never received a confirmation. Called the day of and spoke with the store manager. Very friendly and was able to get me in. He explained he was notified the day of the appointment through the company's internal email. He apologized nobody contacted me. Dropped of my daughters car. Worst customer service ever! I purchased tires from your company and now have a nail in a tire. I took my car to the location at East broad street yesterday, September 7th. Almost immediately after I dropped off they called to ask who rotated tires last and I told them no one has since they put them on. They said they couldn't get the tire off. I waited all day and finally called around 3pm for them to tell me they couldn't get the tire off and had stripped the key and that I needed to come get the car and take it to BMW to get a new key for the lock. I drove all the way up to BMW waited, purchased a key and took it back to the East Broad location. I sat there for 45 minutes thinking they were fixing it for them to come out to say they had stripped the new key and did not know what to do now. They were already closed so I took my car and left. Today I contacted BMW to see if they could do it and they said it would cost 158.00 so I tried to call corporate no way to contact so I left a message. I proceeded to call Sam, the GM, from East broad to see if they would reimburse he said he would have to contact his RM to see and he would call me back in 10 minutes. Once again I waited over an hour and half and nothing. Called him back and he said she said they have to contact corporate parts and service via email and are waiting to hear from them. I waited all day again just went into the store at 5:30pm and he claims still no answer from corporate so I left another message for corporate. This is getting ridiculous and is unacceptable customer service. The first part of customer service is following through and keeping the customer informed. Why am I having to do all the leg work and contacting the location. Bottom line you put the tires on, you broke two keys and need to resolve this ASAP! Update to issue: Although it took from Tuesday until Saturday to get the tire fixed. Tire Discounters did work with us and had the car taken to BMW to get the key locks off and fixed the tire. read more

They were super helpful and friendly and the even filled bf's tires with air since he had gotten his tires with them previously. Getting help immediately without an appointment is really necessary when you're in a jam, and they gave me exactly what I needed to get on my way. read more

I had my tires rotated and after driving it on a highway had a distinct vibration in the steering wheel. Took it back to have the problem checked and they balanced the problem tire . Two days later my " low tire pressure" indicator lit up on my dash.....only had 25# of pressure. I added the correct air pressure and currently waiting to see if I need to take my car back to fix the potential problem. I am retired so I normally drive my car about 2 trips a week. read more

Last night I changed the brakes all the way around on my wife's car and 2 of the tires had punctures in the sidewall (not safe to repair). So I scheduled an appointment for my wife to get 2 tires replaced under warranty. She got there today, and waited for an hour after her appointment for someone to take her car back. In the mean time before they took her car back, the service managers buddy brought his car in without an appointment and he had one of his guys repair his tire before my wife. The service manager tried to BS his way around it, saying that the guy who was fixing his buddy's tire wasn't qualified to work on tires so he wouldn't have been able to work on my wife's car. After his buddy's car was fixed, that same guy pulled my wife's car in the bay and began working on it. That was until the service manager noticed that my wife was watching the guy work on her car. That's when he went out there and told the guy to stop working on the car. The tire guy said that one of the tires were bad, however both of them are unsafe to since the holes are on in the side wall. They replaced the bad tire and charged us a prorated amount to replace it, (the warranty even with it being the same price I bought doesn't cover the full cost, though if i bought it now their warranty would cover the entire tire) and they repaired the other tire. So now they expect my wife to drive on an unsafe tire. Please beware and do not use this shady company! read more

Manager Steve and Joseph made it easy to find the best tires and even though they were very busy and short on help, they worked me in and got my tires on the same night I came in. Zero stars would be more accurate. Scheduled an appointment on Saturday for Monday at 5pm. Was to get four truck and two trailer tires. Showed up for my appointment and was told they could not do it, said I had to bring it back in the morning. Inquiring as to what the problem was they said that they forgot to write the appointment down in the book, but the tires I had ordered came in and they had my info. I informed them that would not work and that it had to be an afternoon appointment. I was told there was nothing they could do. Nothing like towing a boat across town to get a blank stare, poor customer service, and zero concern for my time. No effort to make it right after their screw up, what a waste of time. read more

I purchased a new set of tires in September of 2017. I am currently 5mos pregnant and drive my 5 year old daughter around. I value my family's safety with the utmost importance. I brought my Jeep into Tire Discounters in Reynoldsburg, Ohio less than 2 months ago for a tire repair. I was called at the conclusion of service with a thumbs up and no recommendations for additional repairs of concerns. Less than 2 months later during a routine oil change at a different company, I was told my rear tires were bald and needed to be replaced. I knew this was a warranty issue as I've only had the tires 9mos and they were inspected a little over a month ago. The management at Tire Discounters told me that my tires have not been rotated and therefore do not qualify for replacement, and they can only offer me a prorated discount. My tires were inspected during a repair less than 2 months ago and passed. The only option Tire Discounters will offer me is to purchase new tires at a prorated rate. Their assessment that the tires cannot be covered under warranty is a complete ripoff. Tire Discounters did not rotate my tires at my last appointment because they felt they did not need to be rotated. I have since put 4,200 miles on the tires. The warranty states they should be rotated every 5,000 miles. I don't understand how the tires can pass inspection less than 2 months ago but now need replaced. I have not paid to have this service completed because I believe they are selling a substandard product that they have no intention of standing by. Tire Discounters is in the business of selling tires and do everything they can to try to make you buy new tires and void any warranty that they have lured you in with. If their own expert installer does not recommend a tire rotation or feel they are worn down, how would I know? Thank goodness I don't go to them for my oil changes or I would have spun out on the road somewhere by now. I'm afraid to accept a new tire from them as my 5 year old and unborn child depend on my safety. read more

They called me and told me everything that was wrong and I told them to fix one thing it took 4 1/2 hours when I came picked it up they were so rude, and come to find out they didn't fix anything, WOW!!!!, and pretend like they had no idea what I was talking about... this place has poor service. And now even after I wrote this and they replied back y'all still suck at customer service because I email you my info on the 30th of sep. so all together this is a very poor company to do business with !!! read more

I've never had issue with the work completed at Tire Discounters and they've been my go to out of convenience for a couple years. I knock two stars off as their scheduling system needs work and they've instituted a number of recent changes unfavorable to customers. For example, their new system looses scheduled appointments and forces unnecessary parts (car specific oil filters, etc) on you that were waived (or not required) in the past. They've done away with some less expensive options and appear more focused on their bottom line. Unlike some other places, their employees don't seem to have much leeway in making things right for the customers (though they've always been friendly). Minor but their waiting area should be updated with chairs not connected for busier times. If you've got time on your hands and don't mind paying a bit extra, this place is fine. Personally I will be looking elsewhere as I've wasted way too much time at this and another TD location due to appointments they don't take very seriously and prices that seem to be creeping up. read more

I had an 8 am appointment that also took 2 hours. Folks with later appointments were placed ahead of me. Additionally, the website had me paying significantly less out the door than I paid. I did not agree to any additional work. I guess they were in too much of a hurry to ask since my car was not racked until one and a half hours in.
