I've been going to TD Reynoldsburg for years and they are conveniently located and do good work. I would NOT recommend for major repairs as they tend to overstate the degree to which repairs are needed. For example they quoted my husband thousands of dollars to replace a transmission and he was able to get the issue fixed at his local mechanic for $500. But they are fine for tire issues and minor maintenance. read more

As always, I was very impressed with the team, especially the Manager. He works hard to maintain his civility during pressure. I had made an appointment for 12:30. I arrived ahead of schedule, but still had to wait in a line to drop off my keys. I didn't appreciate that; isn't that what appointments are for. It was obviously a very busy Saturday. I just left my car there. I requested to pick it up before closing. Well 4 o'clock came and went, as well as 5. I received a call about 5:30. I went to pick up my car and the guys were still hard at work. I appreciate their willingness to work late. In short, the staff was great. I think Tire Discounters needs to establish a protocol for people with pre-set appointments, so there is not a line wait to drop off keys. If cars are being kept past closing, your answering machine should allow calls in from those owners. I was very concerned when I was unable to reach anyone or leave a message after closing time, since my car was still there. I know this sounds like an "unhappy" review, but, again, my compliments to the entire staff. I'll be back in a heartbeat if needed, no second thoughts. read more

This place is a joke. Poor auto service and terrible customer service. As a matter of fact, James thought he was going to be smart and tell me I could take my business elsewhere (how about James go get a job elsewhere). This was after my car was there for 12 hours. My appointment was at 8:00am. My car didn't leave the shop until 8:22pm that evening. A simple change of 4 tires and an alignment. My car was dropped off before they even open their doors. We were told by Jim to drop it off. Yes, we had an appointment at 8:00am. We called at 2:30pm and was told by James that my car would be done by 3:45pm. Our arrival to get the car at 6:00pm is when the fiasco started. Upon arriving at 6:00pm we were told that my car wasn't done. It hadn't even been put on the racks yet! They had effectively had my car for 10 hours and did not one thing to it. They did nothing to my car for 10 hours. Reminder, my appointment time was 8:00am and I had been told by James that my car would be done. James is a liar. It hadn't even been touched yet nor was it going to be touched anytime soon. While expressing my dissatisfaction to James he told me in a disgusting tone that I was welcome to take my business elsewhere and he didn't have to take my shit. His words not mine. Ummm....James, yes you do, it's your job. James is rude, cocky, narcissistic, and inept of doing his job. Tire Discounters, you should be ashamed. You're out of line. Did I note that we have a fleet account with them? Take our business elsewhere with a fleet account? For real? Finally, Andrew comes in to play and starts to pay attention to my car. Andrew was the only one that I can speak highly of. Andrew got the job done. 10-12 hours late but he got it done. Andrew was the only nice person that was willing to see the urgency. Tire Discounters, your team in Reynoldsburg is rude and inept. So is your corporate office. I have called and spoke with Marla three times and each time I'm told she's entered a ticket and someone will call me. 4 days later and nothing. Yet once again. You do nothing. You have bad customer service and your accountability is intolerable. You should be embarrassed. To date, my traction control & brake light is now stuck on my dashboard, when it wasn't before. I blame Tire Discounters and will be seeking another automotive repair place for my Infiniti. Tire Discounters, I will hold you responsible for all charges. Legal services if necessary. I missed an important meeting that night and my daughter missed a class - all because you can't change 4 tires and do an alignment on time. I'd hate to see what would happen with a real car issue, you'd fail miserably. Tire Discounters stinks. Their employees stink. Their customer service stinks. I'm contacting the BBB and reviewing on every site possible. They're probably going to do what they did on the previous bad reviews, ask me to send customer service an email. For what? My husband took his car in because it was driving weird like there was a bad tire with a busted belt on the front passenger side. Took it in to this location had them check it out. They said they balanced, rotated and did an alignment told us everything was good and charged us around 200$ and the car was still driving weird. Took it in to Firestone only a few days later and had them run diagnostics. Found out the front passenger tire was bad with a busted belt, which some how TD missed and the alignment wasn't done well or just wasn't done and they did a poor job balancing the tires. We also had an oil change done at TD which I honestly don't know if it was actually done based off their track record. Pretty much they ripped us off and we won't be going back. read more

I had a scheduled appointment at 2 p.m. and they didn't get to my me until 330. I asked Brittany about my alignment and if it was fixed. She said we only did a check. I said I have a warranty until November. She then tried to tell me that the rear couldn't be fixed. I was never given the papers on the alignment or said thank you for coming in and being patient. I was looking for 2 tires for a low rate. Found out they have them in stock. Then proceeded with scheduling a appointment in December 2018. The next day into the weekend morning. I called to follow up the confirmation of the appointment. Found out they made a mistake in scheduling. From that moment I lost all trust with this company. All based off a missed scheduled appointment. The guy over phone told me to leave my vehicle with them not knowing how long it will take for the job to get done. Meaning that it will take all day. Not taking in the consideration that I had important matters going on thru out the day. How can miss a scheduled appointment, then tell your customers their vehicle not knowing how long or when? Ultimately I was extremely pleased with the honesty and will be returning here when my remaining tires need to be replaced. I recently posted a review on tire discounters on State route 256 in Reynoldsburg. The company got back with me and wanted my information so they could get to the bottom of it. But it's hilarious because it's not a valid email address. So that goes to show that they just blow off people when they have issues. A word of warning to all seniors and others to look at your car and don't take their word for it. They will try to sell you parts that you do not need. Because their technicians do not know what they are doing. Trying to sell me a part that my car does not even have. My car has lower control arms and does not have upper control arms and they tried to sell me both. Also I am glad that my car has the TPMS sensors because when I left there lot each tire had different amount of air in them none of them were the same tire pressure. I stopped in this place to have tires road force balanced, and oil change Derek, writes it up, goes out, and inspects car, pulls car into service bay, where it sits, 20 minutes, a yng tech hoist it up and changes oil over the next 40 minutes, as he's also working on another tire job next to mine, once oil change is done, they back car out, and tell me it's all done, I stop Derek and say, are we doing the roadforce balace as I requested? Derek proceeds to tell me they did a free static balance instead, because the tires are chopped...I stop him, and explain, my tires are not chopped or cupped, or uneven wear anywhere, so, show me what your talking about!, we walk outside, he kneels down...I jump in, Derek, so show me this chop/cupping.. the tires are perfect, now, Derek is back tracking his story, He now comes up with we can not roadforce balance ... I stop him again, Derek, the wheels were never off the car, you told me earlier, you did a free balance, how can you do that , when you never took the wheels off?, I was watching the entire time I explain to Derek, if you did not want to do the roadforce, I'd rather you just tell me, not lie about a reason, I'd be happy to go somewhere else, He stopped talking, I paid for oil change, and left I stop on my way out, check oil level, and it's over filled by 2 quarts.... I drove over to a firestone service center, explained what had happened at tire discounters, they pull car into service, inspect tires,, roadforce balance, I had them change the oil so proper amount was installed, and was on my way Tire discounters were not busy, they had Derek, and a blk dude on his day off working the counter, Sandy returned from vacation, made 3 chatting at the counter 2 guys in the shop, young guy having to work I think perhaps I was a bother to them so be warned Steer clear from going to this place, I learned Go see Ed at the Firestone Service Center, up by the airport for your service needs read more

Thank you Tire Discounters! I went back to them a few years after having my breaks and tires replaced. I found that my breaks were squeeking badly and I was afraid they needed replaced. After what was a reasonable wait, I was told all was fine. The removed the tires, cleaned the brake pads and rotated my tires - NO CHARGE! Oh ya...and this was on New Years Eve! I called on Monday for an appointment that Friday to have my tires changed and my fluids flushed, no problem. Until I got there, I took a half day off work just to be told when I got there that the day before (Thursday) they had their transmission guy in there because their machine wasn't working and they couldn't change my fluids. THE DAY BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT and they couldn't call me to tell me half of my services couldn't be done?!?!? I told James of my frustrations and they only thing he had to say was that the other Tire Discounters 15 minutes away could do it if I wanted to schedule something with them. Are you kidding me? I recommended this store to my girlfriend based on a decent experience (tire purchase)that I had w them. HOWEVER, We took her vehicle in for brakes and it was an awful experience. The "technician" called her back and said that she didn't need brakes at all. We both knew better as you could hear a terrible grinding sound when the brakes were applied. I inspected the rotors (that they said were fine) and there were visible groves. We took the vehicle to another mechanic who quickly told us, based on simply driving the vehicle, that it needed new brakes. After pulling the wheels off he said that not only was the right side metal to metal but it posed a safety issue. He explained that the brakes could have seized up creating a very dangerous scenario. I just wonder how many other people they send back on the road at the risk of them and others. read more

Motivated by the low price and free alignment, I went in for 4 new tires. While the counter staff was lovely to me, the service was very poor. On our appointment date and time, they discovered they didn't actually have our tires in stock, even though they thought they did, and told us as much. Then after the tires were on, we went home. The next day, while driving on the freeway, the car started shaking and making an odd noise. I went back in, and was told I'd have to wait 4 hours, even though the morning I called, I was told I'd be seen immediately, so I had to come back yet again. I was told "One of the tire weights fell off." I was told I was fixed up, and off I went. The very next morning I got onto the freeway, and the shaking was so bad, I almost had to pull over. I went back AGAIN, and it was discovered that I actually had A DEFECTIVE TIRE. They put a new one on, and I asked for a free oil change. The guy gave it to me, but I'll never use it, as I will never have my car seen by them again. My opinion...steer clear. I had some issues with my vehicle due to service & tires I received back at the end of May of this year. I immediately contacted the store as soon they opened this morning and they gave me an appointment for this afternoon. I wasn't feeling very hopeful due to the staff I had dealt with on my previous visit but I went in today to find almost all new employees & management who were cheerful, understanding, & accommodating. They worked with me to correct my issue in a cost effective manner, even eating some of the cost to rectify the matter. Late evening I was worked in to get four new tires. I felt like I wasn't sold a higher price tire as I was previously with other tire companies. The trust was there. I waited for my install in a comfortable waiting room. I was able to view what the mechanic viewed of the alignment from the waiting area...it was pretty cool. I paid what I thought was a fair price for tires, I didn't really check the competitors, just told TD was lower. Warranties explained. Friendly staff, even the interaction between all the workers looked well orcastrated. I will recommend to all and will go back. Thanks for making a dreaded experience pleasant:) read more

I have gone to this location and always been more than satisfied with their great service. When I went in today, I had one front tire that kept getting low. I knew that I bought two tires last time I was in, and I figured today I would just need two new tires. After a short period of time waiting, I saw them pulling my car out in front of the store and was perplexed because I hadn't seen them put any tires on my car. Went up to the desk, and they told me there was a screw in the tire which caused the slow leak. They did a permanent repair on it AND told me that I didn't need new tires yet! Said I had several thousand miles of tread and didn't need them right now. I was stunned! I know there are plenty of other places who would have just sold me two new tires anyway, telling me I needed them. But not these guys! I have never been disappointed with the service and the workmanship at this place. Folks (especially ladies, who consistently get ripped off at many automotive repair-type businesses), this is the place you want to go for awesome service and honesty. No rip offs at this place!!!!!
