This is the black suv not blue truck

I've been a loyal customer for years, bringing in four different vehicles for everything from oil changes and tire rotations to full tire purchases. But over time, I've experienced repeated issues that have eroded my trust in your service. The first red flag was when I purchased a second full set of tires, only to be told later that the purchase couldn't be found in your system. I had to dig up a bank statement just to prove it. Then came the problems with my customer records--my last name was misspelled in your system, and one of my vehicles was assigned a different account number altogether. This constantly caused confusion at the front desk and wasted my time during each visit. But this last experience sealed the deal. I brought in my 2025 vehicle, which has less than 7,100 miles on it--and somehow, your team entered the mileage as over 51,500. When I questioned it, I was told it was a Carfax issue--yet the Carfax report handed to me was completely blank. The employee I spoke with over the phone repeatedly gave me incorrect information about my mileage, even though he claimed to have it in front of him. I came in the next morning to get it fixed, only to be told he didn't know how to make the correction and had to call someone else over. When I finally received the updated paperwork, I noticed another error: my vehicle was listed as a blue Honda truck--when it's actually a black SUV. This is beyond frustrating. I care about having accurate, well-maintained records for something as important as my vehicles--and I no longer trust you to handle that responsibility. I'm disappointed in the repeated mistakes and the lack of attention to detail. I'm sorry, but I'll be taking my business elsewhere moving forward.

OMG! $40 to patch a tire? Walmart does it for $15 and your competitor Discount Tires does it for free. Total ripoff and I won't be back.

Unfortunately they don't have a place nearby to get drinks while you wait, that was my only negative!

I went to a " specialty " local VW/Audi shop that overfilled my crankcase with overpriced Amsoil (…read moreI run Rotella synthetic in my 335,000 mile high performance Jetta TDI. ) I was worried about it being overfilled because I'm going on a cross country trip and overfilling can do unknown damage to your engine by seeping and leaking into places not intended to be lubricated or burned off. I called from an Oil Express place ( that was ignoring me) and talked to a very nice young lady named Ashton. She actually listened and told me I could bring it in. So I did, and within 10 minutes a nice gentleman drained ( or sucked out) at least a half quart of the very expen$ive racing oil. ( It takes about 4.4 quarts and the specialty shop put in 5.0 plus any residual in the engine. ) This small gesture was so appreciated and went a long way because i have 3 vehicles including a late model BMW X5 《diesel》 and classic 82 Jeep CJ7 and will put them at the top of the list on the future. Thank you so much Pep Boys and it's so nice to see hard, attentive workers who do work with a smile and actually show up to work unlike so many other places using " covid" as the socially acceptable excuse.

If I could give negative stars, I would. This was an absolutely horrible experience. The vehicle…read morethat I had intended to get an oil change for has power locks that don't work well. The vehicle can't be locked b/c it probably won't get unlocked. For this reason I don't have the remote lock/unlock on the keychain - only the key - and I also have the keychain labeled 'DO NOT LOCK.' Before bringing it into this Pep Boys I made sure to put bright yellow sticky notes on the inside of it to let anyone know. Well, Sabrina Stratton went outside to check the mileage and I warned her not to lock it. Once she came back inside from obtaining the mileage I went back to my vehicle to get something. I did not have the key with me, Sabrina Stratton still had it. When I tried to open the door, it was locked. I went inside and told Sabrina Stratton that she locked my vehicle. I was not irate or unreasonable, I just simply told her that she'd locked it. She denied, started shaking her head, and talking over me. Some of the guys in the back tried to unlock it with a wire hanger but that didn't work. Sabrina Stratton ordered a slim Jim & b/c of the locking mechanism that didn't work, either. I asked Sabrina Stratton what to do and she told me to "call a locksmith." When I told her I wasn't paying for it, she got an attitude with me and informed me that she wasn't paying for it. I eventually explained to Sabrina Stratton that when she put the switch in the auxiliary position, that was enough to activate the locks. (This is also why shops usually open the driver's side window.) I told her, calmly, that I never accused her of locking my vehicle on purpose or with malicious intent. She still denied doing it. What was I to do? I called a locksmith and paid $90 cash to get my car unlocked. Sabrina Stratton nor the manager ever offered to pay for even half of it. About the best thing I can say for this location is I was able to negotiate a price with the locksmith that I used b/c their locksmith could do it for $90 so I guess that was helpful. And I still needed my oil changed and Sabrina Stratton refused my business and told me the manager refused my business as well. She said that was b/c of the lockout. I went to another establishment to try to get my oil changed and was refused b/c it was too late. By this time it was 5:30PM. So, Sabrina Stratton at Pep Boys locked me out of my vehicle, I had to pay $90 to get it unlocked and she never offered to make it right, she still denied doing this, and then she and the manager of this Pep Boys refused my business even after I begged. I will not have another chance to get my oil changed until next week. So, if they don't want my money then I will never give them that opportunity again and I don't suggest them to you, either. Update: My husband and I called the store and spoke with Mike, the manager, explained the situation, and he flat-out refused to pay for the locksmith that Sabrina Stratton caused me to need and didn't even apologize for her behavior. Don't go here.

My friend was driving us back to work from lunch when a battery light appeared on her dashboard…read more Since she just replaced her battery I thought it might be her alternator so I called tire discounters to see if this was a service they offered and the guy said Yes! So as soon as we got off work we went to the place she bought her battery to get a diagnostic reading which stated "bad charging system". Luckily, we were next door to Tire Discounters so we rushed over to see if they could replace her alternator that night because she lives almost an hour from this area and didn't feel confident she'd make it home. We walk in with a new alternator and ask if they can replace it. One guy said they could replace it but it wouldnt be tonight since it was about 5:15 and they close at 6pm. We understood but felt so defeated. I asked if they thought she'd make it to Scottsboro with a bad alternator and one guy said not likely. the other guy, Jacob, said he would go check her output to see what the reading was to help gauge whether or not she should attempt the long commute. once Jacob got the reading he began looking for her alternator to see how hard it would be to get to. After he assessed everything he said he wanted to go ask the other guy a question real quick so we followed him inside. After Jacob spoke to the other guy, he came to the counter and said he was going to put the new one on and said it will be done around 6pm. Jacob went above and beyond to make sure my friend made it back home that night. He was kind, courteous, and fast. Jacob didn't have to do what he did, especially being as close to closing time as it was, but he took great care of us! GO SEE JACOB!
