    So far, pretty good, they are professional and very polite, keep you posted about the waiting time, finding tires that fit your vehicle when the ones you want are pretty much not available. The waiting room is clean and the chairs are kind of comfortable

    My normal goto for tires (College Tire) is closing shop and didn't have what I needed. I shopped Sunday and found what I was looking for online. Discount Tires is close to me, they had exactly what I was looking for, the price was reasonable, and they offered a veteran discount. You can purchase online and set an appointment. I didn't do that because the earliest appointment was lunch the next day & I had a long trip ahead of me. I arrived 15 minutes before opening. They had half a dozen employees hanging out in the lobby, but I didn't want to approach them before opening. I parked by the west door. A couple of cars zoomed around the building, and the next thing I knew the lobby had a dozen people--there is another East door--the main door--and they opened early. I managed to find my way in and waited behind some of the crowd that zoomed around the building. That was frustrating, but it is on me. They got to me without much waiting. The price online is the price in the store, and they honored the id.me (military verification) discount. The only thing that I didn't like is limited service. They don't have the equipment to read the battery level of the Tire Pressure Monitor Sensors. My sensors are getting old, but I don't want to blindly replace those expensive things. The store signage indicates they rebuild the sensors when they touch a tire. Since they don't have a way to check the batteries in this process, I'm happy to roll the dice at the expense of one star. I realize that TPMS isn't that big of a deal (check the pressure, lazy), but it is a potential error light for my wife to complain about if it needs service. I try to keep those things off so she isn't numb to them, even if it is like playing Whac-A-Mole. Discount Tire worked me in and promised to be done by 9AM. After I paid, I sat by the west door and watched my vehicle. My phone lit up with a text from the store--you can track their progress (see screenshot//ignore my impeccable phone charging habits). At 8:15am I was anxious about these folks making 9am...my vehicle was still sitting in front of me. I took a work call, and looked up to find my car gone. I checked the link and it had indeed updated--we were in the bay by 8:20am. The waiting room is clean and spacious. I sat back and observed--These folks are fast! As I sat there, my entertainment was the technician in black waltzing in calling names. Folks were zooming away as fast as they came in except one family, who had some bad news about their balance/rotation. At 8:40, the technician in black walked in and called my name. It was all good news-although he handed me a Ziploc bag with some washers in it. He explained that washers are needed for many aftermarket lug nuts, but mine were OEM and did not require those washers, so they returned the configuration to factory. I suppose that's what I get for buying a used car. :) Discount Tires was done with my new tires promptly-- under promised and over delivered. I was on my way and had this review typed up before 9am. They have pit crews working on those cars, y'all! If Yelp allowed I would give them 4.5 stars, but I can't give them five for not having the equipment to do the job completely right (to my standards, anyway). I'll be back. I am very impressed by their service.

    Sales people explained tire dynamics and safety considerations. Could not be happier with my truck tires -- price, feel, and service.

    Someone determined that we didn't have enough tire centers in Madison County and now at least 4 are under construction. Discount Tire is the newest to open so I gave them a try today. I needed my tires rotated and balanced since I had driven 10,000 miles. The building is large with a large waiting room about 10 chairs. They offer free bottle water and coffee to the customers. They also have bar stools and a counter where you can use a laptop and watch the garage area. The check-in process was lengthy. I think the gentleman was new and I'll chalk up the lengthy check-in to that. I still not sure why they had to check the tire size to give me a price to rotate and balance. Usually this is a set price unless you are chaining tires on dump truck. The time to rotate and balance was very good and they were very busy. I watched as senior experienced employees mentored and helped new hires work on the cars. The employees were hustling and you don't get that at the other main tire stores. Anyway, I will return if I have a need for tire work.

Destiny made comments such as, "I'm just done with all these people" and "I'm over all these people" when we asked when our vehicles would be completed. My understanding is the the one gentleman had been waiting over an hour and a half - two hours past the time he expected and she was mad he asked for an update? When she went outside, my family members that were waiting for me in their car, heard her talking about me to other employees and other customers! This is UNACCEPTABLE. In addition, she made an error in checking me out, so she told me I would not be charged for the addition. After I left - without notifying me - she charged my debit card the addiontional charges. When I called to ask why, I was hung up on three times in a row. I sent a message to the text message and asked the question; her response that she should have asked management first and she was going to charge it anyway. Again - UNACCEPTABLE! I was not even told this before they charged this to my card. We have a second vehicle to get done. After her rude and unacceptable behavior and the way she talked about me, I will find another business establishment. I hate it for the employees that do the work. She ruined it for the us all.

He was texting me back answers nearly immediately. Speaking to him Saturday evening, I knew I wanted to be at the dealership first thing Monday to buy that car. I wanted a Honda Fit, and that was an excellent Honda Fit where every question I had, he either knew or found quickly. I show up Monday, he was again kind, professional, and friendly. I had some service related questions he gave me time to talk to them, never felt rushed. That Monday we got everything we could do finished. There was some things I needed to sort out on my end that took until the next Saturday morning to trade in my car and buy a new one. Saturday I show up with my cheque book ready to pay. He was ready to help with a smile. He helped me move my possessions to the new car, double checked to make sure I didn't forget anything, and answered a few last minute questions (setting up CarPlay, some of the settings on the dashboard, and ensuring I was able to transfer my satellite radio subscription to my car, I knew I could but was unsure about the process). They even detailed it for free, it was already pretty clean to start with. However, free is a good price, to be honest their complementary detailing was better than detailing services that I've paid hundreds of dollars for. My previous car buying experience in 2017 in Virginia (different dealership chain and different brand) I GOT RIPPED OFF HARD. So I bought my father who has lots of experience with buying new and used cars. My father was with me the whole process and told me, I got a good deal on a good car. I trust him more than anyone, so I drove off the lot Saturday happy and confident. Also Steve the financial guy who did the paperwork was a top notch professional. Finance is where I was ripped off last time, he was patient with me as I read everything. He did offer an extended warranty however when I said no all he said was "okay, sign here saying you are declining coverage." Zero pressure. Also he answered all the questions I had about making sure I get my car registered and titled properly as Alabama does things differently than Ohio or Virginia. Basically, he helped answer questions that weren't even his job. He just answered them out of kindness.

December 30, 2025: I made six separate attempts to reach someone at the dealership: First call: Directed to finance manager's voicemail--mailbox was full, could not leave message Second call: Requested the general manager--sent to voicemail that was full and would not accept messages Third through sixth calls: Immediately redirected to the same full voicemail each time The Issue: I have spent four months attempting to obtain basic warranty documentation through every reasonable channel.
