this store at 18951 state rd 54 33558 have a horrible manager, when I called the head office, they only wanted store information but I made it sure to let them know that I wasn't complaining about the staff because, I do sometimes go there and staff helps me with my low tire and such. it isnt all store just the manager. I highly recommend to stay away from this location. I was going to be hired at this location as a mechanic and had permission from the general Manager Elvin to leave my toolbox there unfortunately found another job went to go pick up my toolbox at this location, and my tool box is missing the managers are very quiet. Corporate is very quiet. The box is worth more than 10k and everyone is acting like clueless and shady. If this is how they treat their new hires, how do you think they will treat you if something happens to your car or yourself at this location? Working on cars is my career. Tire Choice in Zephyrhills, Fl. were horrible. They were supposed to switch tires from front to back and put new tires, when picked up it was not done that was and was told that is what was said, vehicle had issues driving. In trying to switch tires, several people have tried removing the nuts (bolts whatever it is called), every tool has been used, and it is sealed. Whether this was done on purpose or not, this is evil. now much more will have to be used to fix this, while having no vehicle to use in 5 days. Take it back? Why, they will not take ownership. So we had an oil change Groupon that said " full oil change" and we paid for it and we go here to get it and they take our cars type and the usual things like that. But then they said our car takes 10 quarts of oil and that the Groupon doesn't even cover the service which they do. Took over two weeks with one week of absolutely nothing being done. No updates would not return my calls. It was a Thursday morning the manager was nice but told me I would need to leave it, I told him I couldn't today bc i work, and he said to arrive early on Saturday or Sunday morning. The guy on the phone had zero customer service skills: didnt ask how my day was going, talked over me, i asked to confirm the tires were delivered and received an attitude because "why would they call me without the tires being there". Arrive on time and have them tell me "they're tired of these online appointments", even though they called and gave me a list of times to choose from personally. Guy at the desk takes my info and just sits down, never says okay you're all set, never goes over any options for whats happening to my car: i wanted the tires balanced, mounted, and the car aligned. Didnt care to ask or go over a plan, or give me an eta of the car being done. I wait 40 minutes, car still parked outside. DO NOT! I repeat, DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE! The staff are liars, disrespectful, and unprofessional! We have brought our cars here multiple times, but this time was terrible! We brought our car here on 8/28 due to having issues starting the car. The shop was busy, so we left & wait for a call back on the diagnostic. LAURA called and listed off things that needed to be fixed, and quoted appropriately $2000 for fuel pump, brake pads, and battery. We asked they only replace the fuel pump & oil change. At that point she quoted approximately $1000 for the fuel pump, and $100 for the oil change. Fast forward, we go pick up the car, and the total is $2000. They DOUBLE the bill & did not complete the additional services. We told them that it was not price we were given over the phone. LAURA in the front office became extremely defensive, and said "well the phone call was recorded, and my manager can pull the phone call so we can call listen to it." We let her know that since she wanted to bring that up that we would wait for the manager to listen to that call. The manger (KARL MOULTON) call us and says, "The phone call matched everything my employee says, and you just can't afford to pay your bill." We asked to hear the call. The manger became even more disrespectful & nasty. He said he would not allow us to listen to the call, and they would be taking the parts off the car. Even saying, the district manager listened you the call as well. We have come to the conclusion that they lied about the phone call being recorded & just thought it would be an intimidation tactic, and when it didn't work they became irate. December 16, 2023 We are taking this opportunity to express our complete dissatisfaction and supreme discontentment with our experience at Tire Choice Auto Service Center in Riverview, Hwy 301 location. I brought my car into Tire Choice days after an oil change. I was told my vehicle needed the oil pan gasket and the main seal repaired which totaled $987. Instinctively, we anticipated a diagnostics test was completed before the repairs commenced. That did NOT happen!! The next day, all the warning lights reappeared. We brought the vehicle back to Tire Choice since they warranty their work for one year. They offered a full diagnostics on my vehicle this time for $118. On 16 Dec 23, we were informed there were completely different issues with my car that weren't covered under the warrantied work they previously done which were unrelated to the engine oil leak totaling $1,100. Unquestionably appalled, I declined the service! The master mechanic stated an engine oil test is needed because my car isn't leaking oil, it's consuming oil. After the repair, he said I'd have to bring the car in every week to have the oil consumption monitored! This isn't practical for my family!! Aside from that truth, why wasn't this test done originally? Tire Choice's mechanic also said I'd need a new engine eventually. Again, I refused service and signed to have my car released to me. I pointed to have the Tire Choice employee park my car next to my truck. He literally zoomed past me and parked elsewhere on the Tire Choice's property. When I tried to start the car (push to start), it was dead and the driver's side door wouldn't lock with the key fob. We tried several times to start the car and to lock the doors, to no avail. Laura, the Customer Service Representative, showed compassion by coming outside to ask if she could assist us with a jump. Our battery in the car is only 4 months old so we were suspicious about the vehicle not starting and the key fob not locking all the doors. It's important to know the other Tire Choice employees didn't bother to assist despite the fact we had our 1-year old and 4-year old with us the entire time. I added oil to the car and thanks to Laura, we were able to get the car started and returned home 2 hours after this experience. I found your employee Misty to be uncivil and discourteous. Dropped my vehicle off on a Thursday evening for an oil change and for the oil filter housing to be replaced the next day. When nearly all of Friday had passed, I called at 3:30pm to ask if the vehicle was ready. I was told that they were "just about to call" and tell me that it's not ready because Napa sent the wrong part. Napa typically delivers in the morning, but nobody thought to inform me that they were now waiting an another part. It was finally ready on Saturday. Within days of the $500 job, we noticed it still leaking. We waited a few more days to see if it was an anomaly - it wasn't. We reached out to the store and they said that the part must've been defective and that they'd order one from the dealership. We dropped the vehicle off on a Monday evening and -- since nobody ever called to give updates -- we'd call daily to inquire on the status. After four days without the part, we called on Friday and asked if we could use it until the part came. They confirmed that since it wasn't unsafe to drive, we could retrieve it. During the few days I had the vehicle back, I now discover that my tail lights aren't working - all were working when the vehicle was first dropped off. Continuing in their poor follow-up, we called the next week to inquire if the part arrived. It had, and we dropped it off on Tuesday evening. The next day, we call to see if the vehicle is ready - it is, but they've misplaced the key, citing that it's probably "locked in the mechanic's tool box." Luckily, we have a second key and are able to get the vehicle that evening. Imagine our surprise to find that the vehicle was now riding rough, the lights still not working, and the check engine light is now on. After great frustration, we hooked the vehicle up to a device that now revealed an error code relating to the cam shaft. We called the next day, advising of the issue, and dropped the vehicle back at the location around 11am. Again, the day waned without an update so we called... of course, it wasn't ready - the mechanic was still tracing the wirings to figure out what wasn't properly connected back. On Friday, we called around noon, and we're told they're working on it, but there was really no ETA to be given. When I got the vehicle back, I was told the check engine light was due to the gas cap and they replaced it. Guess what? The light is still on to this day and the vehicle is still leaking oil. I never had an issue with previous oil changes done, but after this experience we will NEVER take our vehicles to Tire Choice and Total Car Care again -- not just this location, but any other. Service was backed up because of a bunch of people having tire issues post-storm, but they were thorough and when my tire treads proved too worn, they gave me multiple options and got me back on the road. An oil change, even with an inspection, is a 20-30 minute job, but they seemed busy and since I was early, I did expect to be there about an hour. This location is super convenient, so my husband and I went and walked around the shopping centers to kill time while we waited. 90 minutes go by, and we hadn't heard anything, so we walked back over to see our vehicle in the bay on the lift, thinking that's a good sign, we waited... and waited.... And waited. At the two hour mark, we went inside and ask how much longer, they said 15 minutes. 15 minutes go by and I asked them to just go ahead and let my truck down and let me leave, as I was now late for another appointment. The woman working at the front desk wouldn't know customer service if someone smacked her with it. She instantly got defensive and rude, telling me they already drained the oil (which was a lie as we could see clearly no one had touched our vehicle in the 40 minutes we had been standing in the parking lot). She then continued to provide every excuse in the book as to why my oil change was not even started. Nearly 3 hours later I left with an oil change, the counter wasn't reset in my car, I've got no oil change sticker, I received no summary of the services, etc. Overall, the price was fair. The location is great. The service is awful, and their time management is even worse. Making an appointment is useless because it means nothing and you'll spend hours waiting for your vehicle. I have a 2002 Toyota Sequoia that was having ignition switch issues I just moved into town and tire choice is almost literally across the street from my house so I thought I would take it to them to help me fix it I dropped off the Toyota..... Karl the service writer called me 5 hours later to let me know that to repair the ignition switch was going to be $798.00 I was in complete shock I asked Karl how that could even be possible and he said he had to special order it from Toyota and would take 2 days and it would be $489.00 and it would be $104.00 to install and then another $189.00 to program the key I then told Karl to look at my key because it does not need to be programmed because it does not have a chip Karl said --- I dunno man I am just telling you what Toyota is telling me I told Karl to use common sense and to look at the key and see that it's just a plain key So then I said our local Napa Auto Parts has the Ignition switch and key set up for $60.00 and Amazon has the the ignition switch and key set up for $50.00 Karl just laughed at me and said then go buy it from them and do it yourself I get that companies have to mark stuff up and make a profit to stay in business but this is just price gouging plain and simple So needless to say because of tire choices greed they will not get any of money I will happily give my money to a company that is not blatantly trying to price gouge their customers read more

Horrible experience went to this location to get tires put on my vehicle decided to get an oil change next day passing the tire shop my car started to over heat. Once I got to the shop opened up my hood my reservoir cap was not put back on correctly after they checked my fluids to make a long story short nothing was wrong with my car any signs of over heating now I have a bad water pump need new radiator hose on top of that would not admit to the wrong doing by the mechanic and want to change me 1300.00 to repair my car. This has been the worst experience ever three different reason for why my car over heated from the tire shop down to the insurance company but everyone still just over looking that my car over heated do to poor work and the crazy thing the tire shop manger argued with me that his mechanic leaving my reservoir cap open could not cause damage to my water pump and the insurance company ruled it that my engine over heated causing the issue that what cause the multiple problems that now they want me to pay for. Didn't have any expectations as to how much it would cost to fix, how long it would take, etc. I was told by Elvin that it would take an hour, hour and a half, so I went to do a little shopping, as they are walking distance to a shopping center. In a little less than an hour, I got a call from a Dave, I think, that my vehicle was ready, so I was pleased that the estimate was accurate. What really made me write this review is that, as it turned out, all the tire needed was sufficient amount of air, and there was no charge. That may not sound like a big deal to some, but all tires were checked and filled with air. They could have charged me because they took the time to do the job, and "time is money." Went in for a simple oil change and rotation($98 full synthetic oil). Dropped the car off the night before around 4:30 and get a call the next day around 11 it's ready. Get there check out went to the car to find my wheels not rotated. When asked the sales rep said he'd ask the mechanic in which he stated "he rotated them". I then explained that with me having drum breaks on the rear it is very easy to see break dust on the front and not the rear. Obviously showing the tires were not rotated. Finally they pulled it in and rotated the tires making me miss my appointment. When asked at the end what was the confusion I was told it was due to the paper only having rotation at the bottom and not the top... (some random ass excuse because their mechanic is lazy and tried to lie to not have to rotate the tires) and if I wouldn't have known anything about cars I would have left without the service I paid for being completed. Ultimately this would have caused bad wear on my tires making me replace them.... This place normally has good sale reps very respectful and helpful, however they can not control the mechanics who actually do the work. Reviews don't speak for the service here. I came in with a dead battery under warranty that I got in North Carolina. Alvin at this location found me in the system, we had the paperwork sent over within minutes. They didn't have my battery in stock so instead of waiting for one to be ordered in, they purchased one and had it driven over within 30 minutes. Whole process took under an hour. Wish I could give zero !!!! After getting a flat tire today I made the terrible decision to have my car towed to this establishment. Upon arriving to this location with my tow lady right behind me she walked in and asked where should I Leave the car Karl the manager says put it wherever . I was then told they cannot fix the flat without even looking at tire because it's a BMW X5 and I would HAVE to buy four new tires. The man said you can buy any tire you want. My husband proceeds back inside and he says "I don't care what he says I'm the manager and that my decision. " So sad to know in today's day and age with all the oppression and discrimination around that I being a black women cannot walk into a tire shop with a nice car as be serviced like everyone else. Noticed I had A nail in my tire, did not know if it was long or short not puncturing the tire. Went to Tire Choice on Big Bend where I bought the tires. The person at the counter could of cared less he would not even come out and check. He stated there would be a 4 hour wait. He suggested set up appt. for the next day. My suggestion would be have someone available for tire repair what if you were going to work,appointment, or like me picking up grand kids. you cant wait 4 hours. So you ride around not knowing if your tire is going to go flat or ruin your tire. When they sell you the tires its all good news your tire will be fixed for free just come by for a repair. They fail to say there will be 4 hour wait or longer. read more

Had a 9:30 appointment scheduled a week prior to have 4 tires put on my vehicle. Didn't leave the shop until 1pm. I even had to drive home and fill my NEW tires with air because they were 20 psi below what they should have been. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

When I took my Prius into the dealership for a recall service, I was told that I needed a wheel alignment for $139, though my tires didn't show any uneven wear. I opted to take my car to Tire Choice instead for a better price and less waiting time. After jacking up my vehicle to evaluate my alignment, I took a walk while waiting. Carl and Joe ended up telling me that my wheels were only slightly off and not out-of-alignment after all. They could have taken my money with or without any additional work (because I wasn't there watching). Instead they provided an honest assessment and sent me on my merry way without a charge. New to the area and had two nails in my tires. So i did my research for a tire shop. Reviews everywhere was pretty bad so i just took a risk on Tire Choice with them being the closest to me, so in my head if they take too long i can atleast walk home. Well that wasnt needed l, came in told them my issue. They told me i was next car up. Staff pulled me out lobby to speak on the nails in my tire situation...great update , moving fwd , was done with my truck within a hour. But the mechanic notice my tire sensors wasnt working, i told him my dealership messed them up everytime one by one till none was working but offered me $160 ewch for new tire sensors so i declineand just been riding worried for weeks with nails...he then asked would i like to check them & i agreed. Came back telling he got 3 back to working and one was completely gone which i knew already so there we built trust & told me the cost was $79 for a brand new sensor . Lets do it!
