So long are the days of great service with Allied old crew, since Tire Choice has taken over they will NOT be my choice ever again. Unethical...do not trust them!!!!!! My daughter goes to college at ULL and I am in California. I called ahead and had AAA tow her car there to see if they could fix a flat tire. Kevin told her that it could not be repaired and it needed to be replaced. I sent the money and she got the tire. When the associate who brought the car around to her asked her why she didn't ask for a repair because her tire is fixable. He said next time bring a male with her so they don't try and rip her off. My daughter left and called me. I immediately called back and explained what happened to Kevin and told him I want her old tire and my daughter was coming to pick it up. I hope the ETHICAL employee that told my daughter the truth does not get in trouble but how dare they take advantage of my 19 year old daughter. I had to speak up to teach her it is ok to call out shady people and teach her not to let people take advantage of her because of her age or sex. To that employee that was honest....thank you...if you get in trouble or let go...its probably for the best...go open your own tire shop and continue to treat people right..you will always have loyal repeat customers because you are a good person. I had a wheel bearing replaced on my Honda I think they did a good job mechanically. My gripe is that I was told it would take 20 minutes to get the part they told me 20 minutes every 20 minutes until it finally arrived and hour and a half later unfortunately they sent the wrong part so now I was waiting again Being told it would be 20 minutes every 20 minutes and after 2 1/2 hours the part finally arrived. I am tempted to file a police report of attempted theft by fraud! So very disappointed with Tire Choice on Johnston Street in Lafayette, LA! I started getting a "low tire" warning on my dash. I checked my tire pressure and added air, a few days went by and realize, I may have picked up a nail, due to the "low tire" warning return. Finding myself in Lafayette, I went to Allied Tire, now Tire Choice. I have educated myself and understand the make up and function of the many different components of a tire. I bring my car in, tell them I must have a slow leak and ask if they can take a look as well as repair it. Within minutes, my tire is brought inside the showroom to show me a marked area. I am told I have sidewall damage to my tire which cannot be repaired and I "have to" purchase a new tire. I take a look at the area they've marked and cannot help but notice, this is NOT the sidewall. The salesman (wasn't given his name, but he was short, very heavy, dark haired wearing a man bun) says the hole is in an area they cannot patch and they don't plug tires. Additionally noting my tires were 2018 models and needed to be replaced based on age NOT tread wear. Now imagine the tire you're looking at has 4 distinct ribs of tread area, then a shoulder (noted by curvature) where the tread and sidewall meet and then the sidewall. The "marked hole" was past the first rib and into the second rib, well into the tread area, nowhere near the sidewall. God forbid you are of the female persuasion and question this guy! He was determined to sell me a tire and was not open to anything else. Needless to say, I asked him to put the tire back on my car, properly inflate it and I'd be on my way. I drove all the way to Menard's Tire Center in Rayne, LA and asked them to check my rear tire as it wasn't holding air and advise. Within minutes, "Big Daddy" noticed the markings on my tire and asked what was going on. I was vague about my previous encounter and asked him to tell me his findings. He found a nail in my tire in the same rib but on the opposite end of the tire. My tire was soaped in order to find the leak. Low and behold, the previously "marked hole" in fact was NOT even a puncture. The puncture was on the other side of the tireI. I asked the tire tech if there was a hole in the previously marked area, would it have been repairable? Big Daddy said, 'No problem, we patch them all the time without incidence!" Let this be a warning to anyone who's strapped for cash, STAY AWAY FROM THE THEIVES AT TIRE CHOICE. The small "mom and pop" shops ROCK! Integrity, honesty and ethics still prevail with them. read more

The absolute worst. Kevin changed our tires on my BMW and put the wrong type of tire and refused to take responsibility. Ended up having to pay for new tires on a lease return. Will NEVER bring my cars back. read more

I normally don't leave reviews but I have had a bad experience here. And I'm very disappointed. I usually go to the tire place on Congress. But my mom told me to bring it to this place. So I did. Well I needed an alignment and my tires rotated so that's what I told them. They came back to me and said I needed two new back tires. So I did that. Came back to pick my car up. My friend was following me home and said that my Hub cap came off and it was broken when I tired getting it back. So I called the place and told them and then they tell me "oh we forgot to tell you, your wheels bent" told me they couldn't replace my hub cap. I've had two other mechanics look at my car and both told me NOTHING is wrong with my wheel. The guy at the front was really rude to me. Now I have to spend more money getting all 4 new hub caps for their mistake that they made. Never going back. read more

On our way to Destin, and unfortunately, got a nail in our tire. For repairs, we went to Goodyear first where we received mediocre customer service and an unknown wait time with very few people in the lobby. We had a blowout and were stranded in LA because it was a low profile tire. After talking with 5 or 6 other tire "experts", Allied was the place that actually pointed us in the right direction, and we were able to go home that night instead of 3 days later. Received a front rotor change on my truck and in the process, I had something stolen out of my truck. I dealt with managers there (Kevin and Ricky) but all I got was your typical excuse. So my $220 service visit ended up costing me $520 due to the $300 worth of stolen item(s).I found out from a guy that worked there who did it. Since I knew someone that knows some of the workers. I went to the store to tell them who I believed to have stolen from me being a worker there told me who stole it, still nothing. He (Kevin) said he had it figured out and I didn't need to give him a name. So, they know they have a theft problem since he gave me that response. That was a month ago, so they obviously do not care that there workers are stealing out of customers vehicles. I spent $2k in 2019 on tires at pin hook location, so went there since they shut down. They will never receive my business again along with all my family and friends that used to go there. It is actually sad if you ask me being all I wanted was my belonging back and never said refund me and I wanted to avoid calling the police. read more

Gosh I love this place! Friendly staff, TOTALLY HONEST, good work, amazing price' if you find a shop the has lower price than theirs, they'll beat their price by 5%. I changed all my tires and got an alignment done, my car was taken care of PERFECTLY and they did a great job with every single thing!! I've gone here once again to have front breaks and rotors changed completely, I've had them brand new almost a week and once again a job we done! Everything is great and so is the price!!! read more

Called the New Iberia store to change the front brakes on a car was given a quote of 213 dollars but couldnt do it because the store was about to close so brought the same car in question the following Monday by a female and gave her a quote of 732 dollars. After this i called and spoke to Mr. Mach and was told he is the store's president. He was very rude and said that the guy Chris at the New Iberia store told him the quote was for front and back brakes when we told him only front brakes. As if he was going to admit to over charging customers to the president of the company. Lol. Then Mr. Mach told me in his rudeness that as far as he is concerned that i havent spent any money with him so go somewhere else and not knowing i been a customer there since the 1980's. Took my truck in around 930 to get it aligned and was told a couple of hours, which was fine because I planned on leaving town around 12. Got a call from them around 11:30 saying they could not do it because they did not had the specs for the truck. This messed up all of my travel plans and could have easily been resolved by telling me this when I initially brought the truck in. I definitely do not plan on ever returning for business especially after not receiving an apology for the error. read more

Don't know about the other locations, but the people at Johnston Street were rude and disrespectful. Not counting searching my vehicle for every conceivable small defect they could noted as to drum up more business. All this was done despite having a clear understanding what repairs I wanted completed. Extended my waited time twice as long as it should have been. Won't return. read more
