CAN'T SAY ENOUGH WONDERFUL THINGS!!! I don't know why I haven't thought to do this before! We've…read morebeen coming to Beto, the owner, for over 20 years! I just got into doing the doing reviews thing recently and this is one I HAD to do! OK, so our most recent experience, last week! We drive older cars with high mileage so when my husband's car's transmission started really slipping and we had a bad power steering leak as well, we were prepared for the "It's time to get another car" report, and we would trust Beto if he said that. So we took it in.... and Beto has it finished the same day and the tab was $135!!! With a dishonest mechanic we could have at least been burned for a major repair and believed it. He replaced the transmission seal and some clamp on the power steering hose. Run's like a new car! That's Beto in a nutshell! He told me once, when I asked, why he was so much cheaper then others and he told me he gives the same wholesale prices he gives to dealers to his retail customers. Needless to say, he's busier than a one armed paper hanger! So much so that I asked him if he could handle any more business before I wrote this review. He said he could so here I am! I told Beto he was a major reason why we would never leave San Antonio! Just sayin! He's an amazing diagnostician and I've never seen anything stump him. He is a RARE find!

After using this tire shop a couple times, I ended up here to write a review for the service…read moreprovided by stars tire shop and their management. First experience was great, they install new 37" tires in my truck without a hassle. This last experience, we called the shop to ask if they could replace dirt bike tubes and tires, we provided tubes and tires. After waiting for almost 2 hours onsite 11/24 they told us they closed at and would finish the tires in the morning. This morning we called and they said "they would have them done shortly" around 11 or so they let us know that the new in box tubes were leaking and that they couldn't do the job after damging the tubes, they said they didn't have no more time and would t take them back apart because they were damaged. When I arrived, I was handed the tires and tubes. I went out to take a pictures of the tires for the review and the manger started recording my every move telling me to leave the property, said they were calling the police. Long story short, they damaged our tires and tubes and the customer service response was "get off our property"

I recently made an online tire purchase at simpletire.com (I highly recommend it) and there were…read moredropship options for your new tires... Pep Boys, NTB, and a ma and pa shop called CD Tire and Auto. Naturally I chose CD Tire. My tires were delivered directly to them and they were just waiting for me to show up and get my new tires installed. As I drove up, the owner came out and greeted me. Immediately he knew who I was by looking at my tires. Shook his hand and 20 minutes later I was out of there. Just avoid the big corporate places, NTB, Discount Tire, Sears, etc., I will come back to these guys, even though they are pretty far from me. Side note... their balancer was down so he sent me down the street to the other location, owned by his father. They balanced my tires, 15 minutes. Handed them my credit card and the guy said his machine was down. I asked him where I could use an ATM and he told me just to go down the street to the shell station, no worries just grab the cash and come back. So I did. This is customer service at it's best in SA. A rare thing. These guys are simply amazing and deserve a goldmine of business.
