I went for a skin cancer screening it was an absolute joke it was so quick that if there was something it would be over looked. I am knowledgeable enough about my skin due to dermatologist in Manhattan which I should have stuck with bc I was asking and answering all my own questions. Seems they just want to push cosmetic procedures not for me I will be going back to the city where there are real PA's and dr's.

So, I went to his office, personally. I was sick... like, really sick. He was my PCP. I did this two days in a row (went into his office), really sick.... AND STILL, HE WOULD NOT SEE ME. Really? There were 3 people in his non-crowded office when I arrived. I was the second one to walk in. He turned me away two days in a row. Wait - did I say my PCP turned me away, two days in a row? Sick... really sick. Yes! That @$$ really did. What the heck? What a sham, this lousy person calls himself a doctor. Can you tell my frustration, anger, resentment? There was one nice office assistant who was trying to help me, but Doctor Dolittle did not want to help, or even take one minute to see me OR even tell me himself that he did not want to see me. What a Sucker! At least tell someone to their face, who came to your office in pain, two days in a row that you don't want to see them or can't see them.... MAKE SOMETHING UP. Lastly, the office was just gross (on the outside & on the inside). Truly trashy... you can see it driving the office. Totally devalues the building/neighborhood. On the inside - the walls are damaged (water or termites - idk), and falling apart. Moldy carpet. Rickety doors, squeaking... I just feel bad for the staff that works for that sham.

Dr. Sanfillipo is brilliant, very knowledgeable and to top it all he is just truly a kind and a caring person ! I honestly believe he is an angel! He saved 2 of my babies- and I'm not exaggerating! I had 2 regular uneventful pregnancies and 2 very high risk, difficult ones. I would not be where I am without the support and expertise of Dr. Sanfillipo. I don't care how long I have to wait, and btw it's not that long. I traveled out of state to see him because he is phenomenal! His staff is great! The ultrasound tech. I specifically remember telling him that she gets frequent sinus infections. Dr. "cowboy" (because he rode into the room like a hot shot cowboy when he first came into see her) didn't even acknowledge my statement. The next day, my daughter (lo and behold!) had a horrible sinus infection to the point where her face was swollen and she couldn't even pick her head up off the pillow. I called urgent care the very next morning after having brought her there asking for a prescription for her sinus infection and they gave me some nonsense that they couldn't prescribe anything to her unless I brought her back to be re-evaluated... My co-pay to walk through those doors was $100. The only reason they wanted me to go back there and take her again was literally for the $100 dollars because when I asked them to prescribe something to her for the sinuses having told them (the PA & Dr!) the day before -that she is susceptible to sinus infections they told me " we can't give you anything for her because the physician that was there, yesterday is not here today so another physician cannot prescribe anything unless they see her". The ridiculousness of that place!! the extortion of money!! The waste of time is beyond comprehensible. They do not know what they're doing. All they know is how to take your money and shove you out the door and then less than 24 hours later, should you need their help, good luck! I even called patient aftercare and they told me the same thing that I had to go back when I explained the whole entire story to them about three times to three individual people! I even called CORPORATE and asked for the medical director to give me a call back and I'm still waiting (almost 2 weeks later!) They are a bunch of unprofessional people and they have the audacity to call themselves "medical professionals ". Heed my warning and stay FAR away from City MD. Take your child or your loved ones to Northwell health. You'll have a much better experience there. I'M NEVER SETTING FOOT INTO ANOTHER CITY MD AGAIN.

Zero care and effort from the entire team to the point that I was laying down on my table for a good 15 minutes until I decided to leave after realizing that they have totally neglected me and my care. No one even asked me where I'm going or did I'm not finished yet so I went to the front desk and told him I will not be coming back any further more do not build my insurance for any future visits and I would definitely not be recommending this place to any friends or family Or enemies dor that matter.
