Awesome service, tasty food, and yummy wine! I visited with my mother-in-love for a late birthday celebration a couple Friday's ago. We ordered 2 appetizers: the whipped feta dip and also the fried burrata and both were fantastic! For our mains, I got one of the flatbreads, The Bianca, (yum) and she got a salad. We finished up with a slice of cheesecake (we wished it were just a little bit bigger) and the delicious cannoli (highly recommended!!!!!) and I let our waiter decide the wine for me and told him I liked it light and sweet. Came here again today for their Thursday pasta special. Got the Chicken Alfredo and it was delicious. Wasn't the traditional style of noodles I'm use to with it but, they were cooked absolutely perfect. I hate mushy pasta noodles. The appetizer stole the show with all of the mustards and beer cheese. Our waiter was amazing I wish I got his name but, he was very attentive and knew all the specials by heart. Overall this place still looks amazing inside and out with plenty of seating. This restaurant has a lot of space in the cute downtown area. We were quickly seated and our drink order taken. Service was solid The charcuterie board was pretty good. We could see the chef putting it together. He spent some time making sure the presentation was good- i appreciate the eye to detail. The cheese was my favorite. My salad tasted fresh and was properly dressed. The serving size was fair for what you get. I would say that the menu is small but functional. Overall I would come back. We stopped in tonight for a quick bite. They have only been open a week or so. They are still waiting for their liquor license, which they hope to have soon. Water, Ice tea and Coke products. We had the Meatball board which comes with yummy meatballs and wonderful sauce, pieces of bread and burrata cheese. Could use a few extra pieces of bread on it. Also a bread basket to munch on while waiting for the appetizers and then the meal. My wife had the Tipsy Club which she liked, would have been better if the bread had been toasted. The pasta salad was a little heavy on the vinegar. I had the pepperoni flatbread and it was very good was hot when it got to the table. Our waitress was kind of scattered so I was not sure how that would work out. Nice place casual atmosphere many locals coming in to check it out. We needed another place to eat in Cleveland. Well, I'm sure I don't have enough space to say all the good things I would say about our first visit to tipsy tomato. Jeff was our server. What a class act and Michele along with just being a beautiful person. A beautiful woman was definitely a beautiful cook the food was amazing the atmosphere you couldn't ask for anything different so definitely have to give them five stars and I can't wait to go there and eat again. The meatballs are phenomenal. The grilled cheese sandwich was phenomenal and the homemade tomato bisque soup. Grandma would've loved that and so did we. read more

My husband and I went to Tipsy Tomato for lunch on a Saturday. The place is very spacious and has a great atmosphere. We sat at their bar. The owner doubled as their bartender at the time and we had a nice chat with him about their food, wines, woodwork in the restaurant and other things... We're chatty by nature. Don is very friendly and personable. He's a true wine connoisseur, so he was able to suggest a couple of great rosés which were light, crispy and on a dry side. He also gave us a taste of their house red and a red from Serenity Cellars (which is local). Their wines were either from Georgia or Europe, so I'm sure everyone can find something they like! We ordered their hummus and Bianca flatbread for our meal. The hummus was very light and went perfectly with veggies and pita bread. Both hummus and pita bread are made in house and are delicious! Bianca flatbread was garlicky, cheesy and crispy. It was enough food for two people. There were some other items on the menu which we'll try next time. Overall, definitely recommend. So happy to see this great addition to Cleveland square!! read more

Went for lunch this past weekend while visiting family who live in town and had not been here yet. We all were excited to check it out. Sole server was attentive and great. However the menu was lacking especially for a place claiming to be a restaurant and not just a wine bar. Some protein options were unavailable and we weren't told till after ordering entree then 10 mins later server came back to advise we needed to chose something else. Of the proteins available someone in our party added "turkey" to a salad. When it arrived it was not evident we asked, server agreed took it back then returned stating the chef said "it's in there just mixed in". Turns out there was literally 2 small slivers of turkey roll and we were charged $4 for the add on. After bringing to server's attention when bill arrived they took off the charge. Rest of items ordered were just ok, flat breads and a sandwich. Hopefully they figure out a solid menu and what they want to be in this little downtown area that has few other options for dining. read more

Service was horrible. We waited almost an hour and never received our sandwiches. Also the smoke from the kitchen permeated the entire restaurant to the point our eyes were watering. The wait staff stood talking to each other while orders were sitting at the pickup counter. I finally walked over to the bar area and spoke to the owner/manager to let him know we were dissatisfied and leaving. He was eating himself while customers were not receiving their orders. He acted like he wasn't aware that there was an issue with the terrible service. Good may be good, but we will never know because we didn't receive our orders.. PS- you have me confused with another customer that must have been dissatisfied also. I haven't drank alcohol in 15 years.. so I obviously didn't have to order a beer.. wow! We had been wanting to try Tipsy Tomato and we're met with a nice relaxing decor and pleasant staff. A nice menu made it possible to make an informed choice with minimum difficulty. The Tipsy Tomato club sandwich was delicious with toasted bread and excellent choices of cold cuts and cheese. The meatball flatbread such a tasty delight. We did not go for wine and enjoyed the meal with water. Definitely look to return. read more

This place is amazing!!! Started the night off with the Spinach Dip with Focaccia-delicious! I ordered the Bianca flatbread and my husband got the pepperoni- both were amazing!!! We should've stopped but the chocolate covered cannoli called our names.. Jeff gave great service and we definitely will be back when we're in the area!!! My daughter, grandson and I just enjoyed a delicious meal at The Tipsy Tomato Restaurant and Wine Bar in Cleveland, Ga. We had the spinach dip, pear salad, Bianca flatbread, mighty meatball flatbread and the Godfather sandwich, the gelato trio and 2 different glasses of wine. It was all fantastic. Well, we will have to give a nod to the fact that they have only been open less than a month. They are billed as a wine bar. 1st issue: ordered our 1st round of wine. It took 15 mins to come. Reason? Not enough wine glasses and they were in the cleaning process. Ok. Wine was good though. 2nd issue: several items on the menu were unavailable. Either out for the day, or the menu was incorrect and due to be changed. 3rd issue: member of our party ordered the tipsy tomato handheld. Server did not inform us that they were out of tipsy tomato, but simply brought a different handheld. Not acceptable. Another member ordered the Godfather. It came along with the incorrect handheld. Both of the breads were cold. The bread on the handhelds should be warm. 4th issue: the "loaded potato" soup was lacking cheese & some hearty ingredients, bacon?,5th issue, 2nd order of wine? Poured from bottle into existing glasses. Probably due to the dearth of glass availability. Aside from those issues, the flatbread was good, as was the pear salad. The cannolis were good for dessert. We will allow for some time to pass to let TT go through their learning curve. Stick with it! Be prepared for Fridays!! read more

We were there this past Saturday 1/18, 6 adults & 1 child for lunch. Start with the good - the meatballs are fantastic! And really liked the Pear Salad, all the ingredients were portioned well, even the delicious candied pecans. We order a couple of appetizers, one of those "over talked" cheese & meat boards and I think another one at the other end of the table. Seemed like everyone enjoyed them.. Now we order, sandwiches and salads - waitress, who seemed nice, starts off with what they were out of, and this was just lunch time. So, we worked around it & made changes.. Wait here comes the waitress again to let us know, pretty much only one side is left or potato chips.. Plus the wine that they were out of... So, some of us got the potato salad, well guess we know why it was the only one left, some thought was bland & couple of the potatoes were under cooked, yum, crunchy hard potatoes.. So we didn't bother with dessert, who know what they would have been out of. Sorry for this experience, and one couple is well known around the area with a couple restaurants - hopefully there will be improvement.. read more
