Such a fun experience. I booked a class for National Margarita Day and brought along a guest with me. The moment we walked in we were greeted with such a lovely employee and she explained everything about Tipsy Scoop and how it came about. Then we got to taste every ice cream and sorbet they had to offer. The ice cream flavors were the winner of the flavors. We were told that if we wanted to go with just ice cream we could but the theme of this class was really focused on the Margarita flavors. So I decided to do a creamsicle sundae. After we had the intro of everything, another friendly employee took over for the remainder of the class. She gave us some suggestions on how to construct our sundaes and we got to pick two flavors to choose from. The end result, I would definitely do this class again because it was so fun to do by yourself or with a guest you will like to bring of your choice. It may be best to take it in the warmer months because at the end of the class you get to take home your glass with your creation or you could finish it on the spot and they give you a brand new glass to go in a box. I would have preferred to eat it and go but the weather did not call for that lol. So I purchased a cooler bag from them and boxed it up as good as I could and took it home. A few suggestions that I know for next time. Fill your glass up. You only get two options and if the options are not used up, you waste it. I believe they recycle the cups they carry the products in, so it must be returned. I would definitely bring a cooler or something because the sorbet melts really quickly and has a very smooth texture so it needs to be transported properly. I think the price I paid was a good one but I would definitely only pay a discount price, I don't think regular price is worth the class truthfully speaking. The ice cream is quite pricey but then again it does have alcohol in it. So there's that lol. Thumbs up and I will return for some of the other flavors of ice cream. Cute, quiant, and unpretentious. Now on to the ice cream... Much like the other flavors, it's rich creamy base is highlighted by delicious natural flavors with a hint of alcohol. I know I'd definitely have it again, might even add a little vanilla Bourbon variety to it. Thanks tipsy scoop for maintaining the quality treats you provide.

Tipsy scoop is really delicious. I have been searching for a dark chocolate Jack Daniel's ice cream flavor that I had in a small ice cream shop in Middleburg, VA in the late 90s. Tipsy scoop is even better because it has alcohol in it lol. Got a single scoop with Oreos on top- great flavor- and definitely could get you tipsy if you ate a lot of it. Location is a bit weird for foot traffic but the store is very clean and bright with plenty of space.
Stopped by Tipsy Scoop on a busy Saturday afternoon. We had the Mango Margarita Sorbet and the Guava Daiquiri Sorbet - both were good but didn't really notice the alcohol. Service was friendly and good-sized scoops.
Alcoholic ice cream??? Yes please! This was everything I wanted it to be and more; Tipsy Scoop was phenomenal! A warm and inviting ice cream shop with a really sweet staff. I probably sampled every flavor they had...Ended up ordering the Boozy Breakfast with Hazelnut Coffee (tequila & Kahlua) and the Mexican Hot Chocolate (tequila). It came topped with a fruit loop donut, rimmed with white chocolate and chocolate chip cereal. This was insane! It's one thing to have pretty and photogenic food, but this was really delicious! The flavors were smart, paired well, and the perfect temperature. I was scared it was going to melt and be messy to eat, but it really wasn't. Will be back back to get their bourban vanilla bean ice cream!

They have unique flavors like mint chip with crème de menthe and tequila Mexican chocolate, everything I tried was delicious! Settled on the whiskey chocolate concoction which was essentially a sundae with 4 scoops, with salted caramel and brownies, and it came in a neat little glass loaded with sprinkles around the rim. So pretty and so tasty! The sundaes are a lot so I'd probably go with the single scoop unless you're sharing. That said, it is totally a date spot so bring a plus one who loves ice cream and pig out! Prices are about the same as gourmet non-boozy ice cream ($6 per scoop), which I thought was pretty reasonable. And the staff are very friendly and upbeat which totally fits with the vibe of the place.

Located on e.26th the space is tight. There's a small counter, a few inside tables and one table outside. The selections are crazy! Creamy, espresso themed flavors and fun, bold fruity ones like Bahama mama. Samples were given, the server gave me a few suggestions as to what her favorites were. She told me the shakes were a lot and although they seemed fun I opted for a flight to try more of my own curiosities. The ice cream was really tasty, the booze didn't overpower the flavor. Pretty good ice cream with a decent sized menu for an alcoholic ice cream shop. They also had a small selection of non alcoholic as well. The raspberry limoncello was yummy and my friends strawberry white sangria was good as well. Kind of pricy but it's a good option for the area. read more

Came in yesterday for ice cream which was absolutely delicious my friend got a scoop and I got a tequila sunrise. I loved the mango ice cream the most. We sat on a little table outside and enjoyed the ice cream. We got a thank you and a smile but no hello when we walked in perhaps I'm being biased since I just got back from South America and everywhere you walk in they say hi but that was odd. Aside from that it was good and well def come back for more this summer. read more

The ice cream tasted really good and the woman working there at the time was really friendly. The playlist was fun as well. The ice cream I got was a good size to share with my friend, as the woman working there recommended (it could've even been a nice size for 3 people to snack on - my friend and I were full from the ice cream and doughnut). Taste quality - excellent. Price - it seemed a little pricey for a snacky food, but I guess it's NY so this was honestly the same price as a regular cocktail. Alcohol wise - I don't think it was all that spiked (guess they're not trying to have people stumble out...). Tasted good though. read more
For my sweet tooth lovers, this place is a MUST!! They have fruit infused flavors as well as basic flavors, (chocolate, vanilla, cake batter ). They also sell virgin flavors. We had a whiskey dreams & Boozy Breakfast. Both were deliciously amazing. I highly recommend the whiskey for chocolate lovers, and for my coffee addicts, boozy dream is for you. Terrific experience. I would love to go back and have more. We got the sundae to share because you can even keep the glass cup it comes in. Next time I go I'd want the flight to try more flavors. Service was quick as we were the only ones there. There is some seating outside and inside available. You can also taste a few flavors before deciding which one to buy. The ambiance is cute and there's even some nick knacks for sale. This is a great place to go to on a hot day. You can even see our ice cream started melting straight away. read more
I wanted to try this place since I moved to NYC and ta-da I finally was near a location! Cute spot with a couple of bar stools for sitting. There are a lot of unique flavors to choose from...I tried the mango margarita and it had a very light margarita taste and the mango wasn't too sweet. From my understanding, if I remembered correctly, each scoop's alcohol level is only about a beer and a half (pending on flavor option). I definitely didn't leave tipsy but will be back! read more

My boyfriend and I decided to go for a ride to get dessert at this boozy ice cream shop. When we arrived I was lucky to find parking in the front. The shop is small and cute. I ordered the spiked coffee ice cream, and my boyfriend got the white sangria sorbet. It came out to about $14. When I dug in the ice cream was very good! Had an amazing experience here for the Yelp Elite event. From the moment I walked in, the staff was super friendly and welcoming, offering me samples to choose the perfect flavor for my scoop. The raspberry limoncello sorbet was my choice on this sunny day, and it did NOT disappoint. There was a slight kick, but the texture and flavor of the sorbet was top notch. Love this spot! read more

What a fun ice cream place in New York! You can try up to two flavors max. I tried the hazelnut and mint chocolate chip flavors and actually could not decide between the two as they were both so good! The alcohol flavor is very faint which I actually really liked. The portion size is very filling; you could share with another person. There are some seatings on the side, but I decided to walk around the area while enjoying my boozy ice cream. Came as part of the Yelp Elite event - what unique flavors! The alcohol taste is actually pretty light, and the ice cream is creamy. The staff was very friendly and gave some samples, while chatting a bit about how the alcoholic ice cream is made. Wish there were more flavors! read more

Cool idea and definitely a little 'different' to your typical ice cream parlor. The flavor combinations were interesting and creative, but I didn't really taste any alcohol in the ice-cream (not even their flavors). I also found some of the flavors to be too sweet (the cake batter one especially so). My friend got the spiked mint chocolate, which was my favorite flavor, but it honestly just tasted like mint chocolate.... not spiked. The staff were super nice though and their serving size was really generous - their 'one scoop' was as big as two scoops from some places! Go for the novelty of trying it and getting a picture (especially their sundaes), but not worth a return trip. read more

Concept cool, execution lacking The ice cream with booze is a cool idea, and the alcohol content is actually quite high, meaning you will get a kick, especially a full cup which is probs equivalent to a light glass of wine. The issue with alcohol is that the melting point is a lot lower than ice cream, and that means the ice cream melts quite fast. For the caramel leche churro flavor, this means a syrupy semi thick texture with watery outsides, and the ice cream drips all over your hands. In addition, the watery mixture tends to be more of the alcohol, tasting quite strong and unpleasant. For flavors without the caramel like the whiskey chocolate, it gets watery very fast, and isn't pleasant to eat. Btw, fast melting means like seconds from the fridge, not a few minutes. If there was a way to maintain the properties of ice cream texture I think this would be really good. read more

I have been dying to try this spot for the longest so I finally for the chance to go with my boyfriend on a Sunday afternoon. There was barely anyone there when we got there. We saw the flight option and decided to get our own. They have a vast majority of options of flavors from sorbets to creamier options. For my flight, I got Mocha Rum, Spiked hazelnut coffee, cake batter vodka martini and the Bahama mama. The mocha rum was my absolute favorite because it was creamy and had a nice tint of rum flavor. My least favorite was the bahama mama, didn't feel like it for well in icecream form. My boyfriend got the dark chocolate whisky salted caramel, mint hot chocolate, waffle and whisky and vanilla bean bourbon. I tried all of his flavors as well and the mint hot chocolate definitely won. It was a delicious flavor of mint and chocolate. What I loved the most about this experience was the way these scoops were decorated. All of the scoops had a delicate decorative touch such as a brownie, mini cookies or a pretzel. The girl at the counter was super friendly which was nice. The shop itself is very small and only had a few high tables and stools so I can only imagine how packed this place gets on a warm day. Adorable boozy ice cream shop! Came in late on a Thursday and it was hoppin'. Good music playing, a lot of very happy customers and the sweetest scooper behind the counter- so friendly and nice! We both got the 4 mini scoop flights. So impressed thar each scoop was dressed up with a fun add on like a gummy, flowers, sauce or sprinkles. Every flavor was delicious, but my faves were the Cake Batter Martini and the Strawberry White Sangria. Hubby liked the Dark Chocolate Whisky Salted Caramel, Minty Spiked Hot Chocolate and the Mocha Rum. I don't like Whisky at all and I also loved the Dark Chocolate Whisky Salted Caramel. None of the flavors had an unpleasant strong alcohol taste. Highly recommended for awesome ice cream with a kick and a super fun vibe! read more

I found out about Tipsy Scoop through social media. I have been excited to check it out ever since I saw the peanut butter screwball flavor. I had my friend go out of our way on a hunt for boozy ice cream, and was extremely underwhelmed by the store front. This is a serious missed opportunity. If the ice cream wasn't so good, I would give this review 2 stars. I was really expecting something grand with cute picture opportunities, but I couldn't get out of there fast enough. At first, we thought the barlour was closed. We noticed other customers inside, so we tried the door and it was open. There was one girl working the counter and there was one freezer with the ice cream inside. It seems like they frequently run out of their toppings, due to excessive signage posted about toppings. There were only a few bar stools to sit down and eat, so it was really awkward for us. I loved all of the corny decor though! The girl working was friendly and answered all of our questions. The ice cream seriously tasted like the alcohol that was in it, but did not burn like a beverage would. The peanut butter screwball was flavorful and delicious! The pride was fair, about $5 and change for a single scoop. I'm glad they sell their pints in stores around the country. I would love to have their ice cream again, but it is not worth going to the store front for it. read more

My daughter and I have been planning a date here for years so we finally went on Seis de Mayo lol. I I opted for the flight which was $16 pretty reasonable -the place is small so go early or late or else you will be on a long line - the menu is easy to understand and colorful - the staff was friendly and explained everything well on the menu - they played reggaeton which I like but mix it up - okay now the flavors my fav was the hmm -strawberry sangria but needed more Gria lol, -The Don Julio they kept promoting on IG is a dairy base for my lactose intolerant friends, it was creamy and you tasted the Julio! -The raspberry was really sweet and the sprinkle of fruity pebbles was not needed - mango margarita was good but needed more Rita I'm guessing they only put less than a shot since it's supposed to infused but it's called Tipsy scoop for a reason. I was expecting a more alcohol taste to them but it was more of a hint or whisper!! - my take away is they need to clean up the stools and tables after every customer it was quite dirty with spills. - I don't know if I would return honestly it was on my bucket list and that's that! Yummy ice cream infused with vodka. whiskey or tequila, different liquors all depending on the flavors & your pleasure! Not only is the ice cream delicious but their sorbets are amazing! My favorite one is Mango Margarita! Tipsy Scoops is a perfect ice breaker especially on a first date or makes a perfect after dinner treat/drink! You can enjoy inside or outside or take a pint home with you! The staff is warm & welcoming too! Orders delivery for this boozy ice cream using Gold Belly for my brothers birthday! It did not disappoint!! Keep in mind when delivering, signature is required since contents have alcohol on it. 21+ must sign. My brother & his wife loved the ice cream! They also said it was packed so well! Still frozen when it got delivered, across country! We live in CA. Each ice cream flavor is unique and delicious in its own way. Having boozy ice cream is a fun way to unwind! A cute place with tasty ice cream that doesn't necessarily live up to the tipsy part. I'm not entirely sure how much alcohol they put in their ice cream. According to my partner two scoops is equivalent to a light beer. But I stand my ground and as my grandma would say: " where's the beef!?" I don't need to get plastered but a little buzz would have been nice. The ambience is cute but can only accommodate a few people at a time. I went there around 8pm so I didn't have to deal with a line, so that was a bonus. All in all, it was a fun experience, they even have options if you're lactose intolerant! I am not sure of a regular serving but the flight sampler was only $11.....their prices were very reasonable.
