Made an appointment online for noon, then received a call saying that the esthetician need to eat…read morelunch then and asked if I could come at 3pm. I say okay, fine. I arrived a few minutes before my 3pm appointment and waited. The esthetician came out and said it would be two more minutes, I waited again. She then came out and said that her previous appointment was moving very slowly, was still on the bed and she had run out of product. I told her I would reschedule and walked out--granted I was not happy. Then I get a voice mail saying that since I "missed" my appointment I would be charged unless I came back. Fortunately, I was still in the area so I went back--now furious--and asked them what they meant I had missed the appointment. I had been there and was being told there were more delays to getting me in. Now I'm waiting for the manager to call and decide if out of the goodness of her heart she will not charge me for an appointment that I attended but that her staff couldn't. If I had been 15 minutes late, they would have quickly informed me that I couldn't get the full service. Customer service is dead.

I decided to hop in car and check it out. It was fairly busy when I walked in, but I signed in, and was immediately seated for a pedicure. I did have to wait about 15-20 min after my pedicure for someone to start on my full set of nails, but I expected that, as a walk in, and at the time of day I went. The employees were super nice and friendly, and I talked to the lady giving me a pedicure for a good while. She did excellent! The whole place felt nice, comfortable and chill. She answered all of my questions with so much care and clarity, and within a few weeks, I felt confident enough to sign up. I've attended several of the donation-based workshops, and I absolutely love that they offer this. It allows people to explore and learn something new without the pressure of fully committing right away. I'm currently about a month into my yoga teacher training at Bodhi & Sol, and it has already been incredibly powerful and inspiring.
