I noticed they offered many donation-based workshops, which gave me the opportunity to visit the studio, meet some of the staff, take a workshop, and really feel out the space before committing to anything. Later, I was able to get on a call with Gayle, the yoga teacher training instructor, and it was such a pleasure speaking with her. She answered all of my questions with so much care and clarity, and within a few weeks, I felt confident enough to sign up. I've attended several of the donation-based workshops, and I absolutely love that they offer this. It allows people to explore and learn something new without the pressure of fully committing right away. I'm currently about a month into my yoga teacher training at Bodhi & Sol, and it has already been incredibly powerful and inspiring. Went with the 60min therapeutic signature massage for couples...absolutely worth it and we both thoroughly enjoyed our treatments. Both massage therapists were professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. My woman was six weeks out from breaking her leg and hand in a car accident and she was handled perfectly for the situation. I was in the same accident but I'm invincible so I asked my therapist for a combo Swedish with deep tissue for any knots, which she executed perfectly. Yea, I am a repeater. This time Kaylea gave me a head, shoulder toe massage. she will always personalize, unlike other therapists I have had. I am having trouble with neck and shoulder pain so she gave that area more attention. Because I went for a different therapy, I also requested a different fragrance blend of essential oils based on my preferences and their recommendation. I went here for a couples massage in January and they did not massage my guy's back. They spent the whole hour on his legs and feet. When we were starting the massage they asked us where we wanted to be massaged and where we didn't want to be massaged. I said don't massage my hands or feet and he did say they could "do whatever." You would think that do whatever would typically not exclude the back; the back is the main part of a standard full-body massage. My masseur did not massage my legs, chest, or arms and only massaged my back, which I didn't mind. But we signed up for standard full-body massages and between the two of us the only places we asked to exclude were my hands and feet. He ended up with only a foot rub and leg massage and I ended up with only a back massage (which I prefer anyway but asked for the full body massage with only hands and feet excluded). I told the girl at the front desk upon leaving that they didn't massage his back and she gave us 10% off. read more
