Inside is very nice, well decorated. Ron, the owner, is very welcoming to everyone, including my boys. Haven't tried their fish fry yet, but plan on giving it a shot to see if it's as good as Ron says it is.

The burger is juicy. The sauce is amazing. The onion straws crunchy. The diced up bacon delicious. And a sturdy bun to hold it all together. I could go on and on. Two guys to my right also ordered the prime rib. One of the two was unhappy that his prime rib looked about 2/3 the size of his friend's PR. The waitress offered him $4 off. My friend got his prime rib dinner and I was told that my deep-fried shrimp order was not available (WTF) and would I liked the shrimp scampi (I was told it was very good). Okay, 20 minutes later I got my order of shrimp scampi only to find out that the shrimp was not divined and the noodles were soaked in butter. My friend and the husky males next to me all were very unhappy with their prime rib. Said it was like a boiled steak with no flavor --- also over cooked. My friend who ended up getting a well-done piece PR that was supposed to be medium rare took half of it home and said his dogs would enjoy it. His side of dish corn was cold and he did not eat it. The waitress was quite active in serving drinks at the bar, but took no accountability for the poor food even though she (the bar side) I was told would collect tips for any food served at the bar. One of the guys next to me said she should have comped the whole dinner for all. I agree, but didn't push the matter with the barmaid, but made my dissatisfaction known with a minimal tip. Apparently the new owner is not living up to the standards of the previous owner with the quality of the food per the guys next to me who have been longtime customers. I never saw the owner come from the backroom to the bar to see if everyone was happy with the food and the service. I give this manager an F -- a guy that needs to learn how to run a restaurant and achieve excellent customer service. Won't be going back!
