I love this salon but I love it a little more tonight. I got my nails done in town yesterday near Starbucks... they were horrendous. I asked for several issues to be fixed but I just got attitude in response. I left, super disappointed and $70 lighter. I assumed tip & toe nails was booked through Xmas but when I called and spoke to Phoebe about the situation she fit me right in, redid them, and charged next to nothing. I gave two stars since my pedicure was the fastest I've ever had. My friend and i booked together and she started 20 mins before me and finished 10 minutes after so i know i was shorted. Even ordered the more deluxe new skin pedicure and had no polish but that didn't cut cost. I am traveling and i normally tip my guy $20 because he gives such a great massage but i gave 0 tip for this, she didn't earn it. salon was nice and the guy doing my friend was great. read more

I live in NYC, the land of plentiful nail salons, and I have struggled to find anyplace decent in park city. I've been to the solar nail place (dirty!) and a couple others that were either egregiously expensive or just not good or both. Tips and toes is hands down the best nail joint in park city. It's clean, the manicurists are fast and good and the price is right. I got a mani for $15 and my friend got the cutest nail design for her toes which we think was maybe a $5 add on. The place is also very kid friendly as a mom came in w her 3 daughters and were accommodating in doing a watermelon toe nail design. Like I want that!!! Only downside is they are closed on Sunday but hands down this place is the best in park city. All the other joints I've tried are sketchy. read more

She told me that I needed to take off the dip I had on and use acrylic (which I thought I had) I told her I didn't have a lot of time and she said it wouldn't take a lot of time but then at the half hour mark her next client came in and she still had a good half hour to finish me. Well, 15 minutes later, I was sent out the door with the worst fill I've had in my life. I'm 38 and I've been doing my nails since I was 16. My nails came out good, but this spot takes in any and everyone when they walk in and make them wait over 45 minutes without saying a time. They just say "we will be with you right away". Just need to give time expectations so people don't get pissed and have to leave. read more

I got a guy that first tried to peel my old gel off my toe nails instead of soaking or grinding them off.. it took me pulling my feet away and asking him why he was peeling my old gel off (which was very uncomfortable) then he kinda just smiled and picked up the grinder and started to grind the polish off. I warned him in the beginning that I had a nail that was half off because I had stubbed my toe and he assured me he understood I didn't want it filed or ground down at all just painted. Then he proceeded to try to grind my gel off and almost went through my pinkie toe nail!! He seemed rushed even though we had an appointment and it was $47 plus extra for gel and he only did the leg massage/sugar scrub for like 1 minute when the other people in my party got 10 minutes As long as you don't get the older gentleman the rest of the people seem to be better and take their time and care about their job! read more

Great spot next to a lot of other shops and places to grab a bite. Came in while on a vacation in the area after reading everyone's reviews. I just couldn't justify the crazy prices at our resort and their $30 pedicure was more in line with what I pay at home. I did call in to make an appointment, and was glad I did. They were slammed first thing in the morning. My appointment ended around 12:30 and it was still busy but they didn't have turn turn people away. They are upstairs and it makes for a lovely view of the snow covered mountains while you get your pedicure. read more

Go see Hi!! Stopped in here with my girl to get a new set. Hi was so welcoming and friendly. I had an awful set of "coffin" nails from a different salon in the valley and they looked more square than coffin. Hi got me set up with the perfect set.. matte black with unicorn accent nails, and a true coffin shape!! They're much longer than I'm used to, but because they were shaped properly, I can't even tell that the length is longer than my last set. I'm in love!! Sooo, after a couple of friend recommendations I came to Tip & Toe for a dip color replacement. It was the fastest color change ever. From afar, nails look ok..even though she put the white base as the last coat after 3 coats of pink and bubbles have already started to service 5 minutes after she finished. But if you look at the tips of my fingers (dip hardened coloring every where), we'll you be the judge if this was even worth paying $50 for. I paid, but will have a talk with my friends. read more

I was told they had an opening at 12- perfect! We got there right at noon and were told a few minutes. We sat on the couch for over 45 minutes... I guess an appointment means nothing to this place. Not sure why I went back after the first crummy experience. I called two days in advance to make an appointment. I arrived early, but I still had to wait almost an hour, because I wasn't on the book. While my nails were being done, my tech took two appointments and didn't write down either of them. No wonder! Also, when I called I asked for dipped nails. She assured me they did them. Well, they might say they know how to do dipped nails, but they don't. I've been getting them done out of state for years, and no one has ever done them in such a strange, inefficient, painful, sloppy, and damaging way. The other annoying thing was the tech herself. The entire time I was there she blamed everyone and everything but herself for all the problems: she had to fire the other tech just that morning who did dipped nails, whoever I talked to didn't write down the appointment (it was she), dipped nails don't work in Utah (???), and she was too busy because of the tourist season. I'm giving two stars instead of one because, after the cuts around my cuticles heal and the excess product around my nail beds gets worn or washed off, the nails themselves look decent. $30 Pedicures $35 Gel Manicure $25 Gel Color Only I am so torn between 3 and 4 stars for this place. On the one hand, I really appreciated how they were able to fit me into their schedule the next morning. My exchanges with every staff was nice, they were all very friendly. The service time was quicker than I was expecting but a huge plus for my time crunch. But the flip side, I only accepted their pricing because I was in a pinch for a wedding the next day and didn't have any other choice. But their prices are $10-$15 more per service than standard market rates. So I paid ~$30 more total than I could anywhere else, even in major cities. Additionally, my toes chipped within a couple of hours on the same day. My gel manicure chipped two days later (typically gel lasts me 3 weeks without chipping). I actually had to super glue two of my nails so it wouldn't prematurely peel off. Ultimately I settled on 3 stars because I wouldn't ever choose to come back, but they deserve an a-okay rating and review for really friendly and speedy service. read more

I wanted to love this place, but i just couldn't. At home (I'm an out of town we) i get my nails done every two weeks, so i know whether a salon is good quality or not because my one at home is five star. Everyone else who said they make an appointment and then ended up waiting a long time, is true. I too watched the owner/manager take phone calls, set appointments and then never write them down. I was there for a couple of hours and people were piling up at the door saying they had an appointment! I don't think they are very professional with their work. My pedicure was sloppy, with polish going over the edges and not getting cleaned up. My gel mani just was not up to par. They do the minimal amount of coats for each polish and so you don't get a very "strong" gel. It almost feels like your nails will will break. Last but not least, while I was there a woman who was in town for a work event had gotten a regular French manicure. Within a day, the nail polish had started peeling, so she came back to get it fixed. The owner blamed the woman's nails, but my theory is they cut their polish to make it last longer and go farther. I hate salons that do that. If you go there be prepared to wait, even if you made an appointment. They're fairly pricey ($65 for gel mani and regular pedi). Consider bringing your own polish to assure your manicure or pedicure lasts longer. read more
