About 20 mins after getting there it started filling up, and by the time I left, around 5:30, they were about 2/3 filled! So, make reservations if you can, this seems to be a popular place! Service was pretty good... We sat in the couch/lounge area next to the bar and went to the bar for our drinks. They have a decent happy hour, which we took advantage of. Drinks were pretty good; I really liked the sangria. Chips and salsa were amazing. Restroom was really clean and the entire place was perfectly decorated and maintained. I'd definitely return when in the area!

There's such a wonderful selection, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. As parents with notoriously picky eaters, we especially appreciate how accommodating the staff is - it's such a relief to know that our kids can also find something yummy with just a quick chat with the staff member. That really makes a difference for a family outing! And oh my goodness, the appetizers are simply fantastic. We couldn't get enough! I also have to give a special shout-out to the Carrajillo I ordered. It was such a delightful surprise - perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, with a lovely citrusy kick that made it incredibly refreshing. Definitely a new favorite drink! We're already looking forward to our next visit to explore more of amazing menu. Just a little heads-up for anyone else, we realized on our way out that there's an extra parking lot right across the street if the main one fills up. Super handy to know!

We ordered the half chicken ($11), and I was honestly surprised by how juicy and moist it still was inside. The outside had a wonderful smoky charcoal flavor, and the marinade was flavorful all the way through. It also came with rice, corn tortillas, red and green salsa, grilled jalapeño, lime, and grilled onion, so it was a really filling meal for the price. We also tried the Bean Burger ($9.79), which was a fun combination of a beef patty, refried beans, cheese, chipotle sauce, and pico de gallo. I enjoyed it, although I personally would have loved a thicker layer of beans. The green salsa was SO good that I ended up buying an extra container for about $5 to take home. The restaurant itself is very casual and no-frills, with a big charcoal grill that really adds to the atmosphere--you can see and smell the chicken cooking. It feels much more like a local neighborhood spot than a polished tourist restaurant. Service was also very friendly and attentive. Even though we arrived late, we never felt rushed, and our server checked on us several times to make sure we had everything we needed. I would absolutely come back for the chicken and green salsa.

We were first planning to get their viral pumpkin torta but then decided on trying some of their other dishes instead. The Chicharrones came with guacamole and a delicious salsa that was quite spicy, but also incredibly tasty. The salsa complemented the chicharrones, especially once we placed them in tortillas to make our tacos. Four of us shared this appetizer and we were able to make two tacos each. The chicharrones also had a nice crispy skin on the outside but with pork meat available on the other end. I had the omelette de Rajas and it was perfectly seasoned with crispy corn chips in the middle, which I thought went perfectly with the tender delicious omelette and sauce that surrounded it. It came with a side of beans and potatoes which honestly I hardly ate because the Chicharrones were so filling. My partner got the pork mole, and I thought the mole sauce on it was really interesting because it seemed to feature toasted sesame seeds, which gave it a nice crunch and flavor. Please see my pictures to see the dishes we all tried. Our waitress was incredibly sweet, accommodating, and apologetic about the wait. After trying their food, I can honestly say that it was well worth the wait. My only suggestion would be to please be sure that no one plays their in phone or iPad loudly, and instead uses headphones so as to not disturb any of the patrons enjoying they're lovely meals. We will all definitely be back.
