Not only did the air conditioning fail during the dinner but the elevator was out of service (much to the disappointment of a bridal party member who had to be carried up and down the stairs along with her wheelchair and Grandparents of the groom who were unable to attend due to physical limitations). No reimbursement was offered for these inconveniences. Personal possessions were also stolen from the groom's changing room. While the venue itself was beautiful, the lack of professionalism by its Management leaves little to be desired.

It's rustic, beautiful and quiet (no highway or city noise). For the wedding event I attended last weekend, guests were boarded onto a large open-sided wagon drawn by two work horses, and when that wagon was full with about 30 people, we were driven back into the woods, about a 15 minute trip. Some guests arriving later were driven back into the woods in a golf cart. Returning later to the parking area, we were driven in golf carts. The wedding ceremony took place on an outside deck with plastic chairs set up for sitting. They have outhouses for bathrooms and no running water. There's a large enclosed cabin with a wooden floor and long banquet tables and plastic chairs to sit on were set up inside. An ample-sized multi-level deck is attached to the large cabin that has round plastic tables and plastic chairs to sit on. I think the food was catered and it was all right. It was a banquet line set-up. Lightly smoked and large juicy pieces of chicken, large foil-wrapped baked potatoes (with bowls of whipped butter and sour cream available for help-yourself), several varieties of sliced bread, canned corn, and a very soggy-looking pasta salad. They offered lemonade and coffee in big plastic bins with spouts on them. One thing I think would be nice for this business to do for its guests attending a more "formal" event is to clean off the sitting surfaces of all those plastic chairs right before the event so that people dressed up in their finery won't be left wearing the dust and dirt stirred up by their horses making repeated trips through the woods.

She is unlike any other photographers in the Eau Claire area. She made me feel so comfortable during all of my shoots. I am normally camera shy and by the end of our time together, I was starting to pose on my own and she always hyped me up!! She puts so much time and effort into locations, outfits, styles, editing, and more. I cannot say so many nice and pleasant things about her work and herself as a person. She genuinely cares about your wants and needs in every way. That is one way she is so unique. So, she does everything in her power to exceed your needs! She is the cutest, kindest, most polite, and most caring person you will meet. Not at any moment was I worried about how my pictures would turn out. She had so many fun ideas, and shoots, I cannot express the amount of fun I had with her. I went into it thinking I would just like nice looking pictures from a trusted photographer. I got more than I ever wanted. I got to create a connection with her, jump out of my comfort zone, enhance my style, and become more comfortable in front of a camera. I couldn't have asked for a better photographer. I absolutely love Season and her work is a bonus!!! I was beyond impressed by her ability and her work. Love Love Love her. Everything from booking the shoot, choosing the locations, deciding what to wear all the way through last minute yearbook picture edit requests. Season has gone above and beyond the entire time. The shoot itself was so much fun, she put us at ease and brought out my daughter's personality and smile. Her edits were works of art and she made choosing/ordering the final portraits so easy. Season is extremely communicative and professional at each step and easy to get ahold of; extremely responsive to texts and calls. We did not wait long at all for the portraits and other items we ordered. I feel the package we purchased was an amazing value and worth every penny. I knew exactly what I wanted and Season delivered: precious memories of our daughter as a young woman ready to take on the world. I can't recommend Season Dixon Photography enough.
